Just browsing some of the game summaries today and noticed that in the wrap-up for the Giants - Eagles tilt, not ONE MENTION of Peyton Hillis in the entire thing. Really? One of the players MOST responsible for the win and not even a word? No agenda here, move along.

They have it in for hillis. Sure they might be positive and commending about white qbs from time to time, but they cant have a good white rb perform better than da afleets.

Just to back up what's been said for those too young to remember, Collinsworth the player might have been as good as Collinsworth the announcer is bad. It's part of what makes him particularly infuriating. He had speed, height, hands, and toughness. He also played with the best QB not in the HOF (which is a crime, and makes the HOF a joke).

Steven Jackson is getting some heat

We hope that Jackson's hamstring wasn't 100 percent after not playing since Week 2. Because if he was healthy, this was a truly pathetic performance. The offensive line gave him very few holes, but he ran like a poor man's Peyton Hillis while trying to find them. Slow would be an understatement. The Falcons would have been better off sticking with Jacquizz Rodgers (four touches), but they gave S-Jax the veteran treatment and a majority of the snaps. The sledding won't get any easier as the Falcons are at Carolina in Week 9 and then face Seattle in Week 10. Jackson has almost no shot to produce against those elite defenses. Oct 27 - 8:13 PM

It was a much-needed win for the Patriots, who started a BYU-style 13 white players (Brady, Edelman, Amendola, Gronkowski, Develin, Solder, Mankins, Wendell, Connolly, Vollmer, Vellano, Ninkovich, and Gregory) against the Dolphins. DT Chris Jones, who looks white but is apparently 1/8[SUP]th[/SUP] black, also started. LB Dane Fletcher and WR Austin Collie were also heavily featured as reserves. Unfortunately, RT Sebastian Vollmer appeared to break his tibia and/or fibula during the game. With any luck, he won’t be placed on IR and will return at the end of the season or playoffs. His backup is sumo, Marcus Cannon. For those who didn’t see the game, there were a few extremely suspect calls at critical moments that permitted New England to win. First, it was the non-existent pass interference call on Jimmy Wilson against Rob Gronkowski. Then, an atrocious defensive holding call on an Aaron Dobson route. Then, the “illegal ball batting” call in the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] quarter. I don’t really care that Miami was treated unfairly because I was glad to see the Pats win, but it was a perfect example of how the officials could affect any game, at any time. Brady was facing a tough Miami defense, and continued the below-average play he's exhibited all season. The only instances in which they can successfully move the ball this season is while in the “no-huddle.” Edelman, Amendola, Gronkowski, and Collie were all invisible as the offense struggled mightily and black players such as Ridley and Dobson moved the chains. Wes Welker was always labeled a “product of the Patriot system”…but through 8 offensively-insensate contests without him, it seems like the “system” was a product of him.

Speaking of Welker, he’s snared 50 catches for 555 yards and 9 TD’s through 8 games. He’s on pace for around 1,100 yards…

Despite his numerous short TD grabs, Welker’s role in Denver’s offense is pretty unexciting when compared to his time as a Patriot. Manning frequently throws him inaccurate balls in traffic and he isn’t even on the field for every offensive snap. At least Joel Dreessen and Jacob Tamme appear to have returned to the TE rotation. Defensively, the once-promising DT, Derek Wolfe (who’s been invisible this season), finally made a big play, sacking “The Gremlin” and recovering a fumble…

I never thought I’d say this…but I was glad to see the Giants win. Peyton Hillis again looked fantastic in totaling 85 total yards, and looked particularly good in pass protection. Let’s hope the “Juggernaut” continues to get back into playing shape and the Giants continue to utilize his unique talents even after the return of their “real” running backs. In the meantime, it’s great to see him back in the NFL…

With injuries to Cobb, Jones, and Finley, the Vikings were tasked with concentrating their efforts upon covering the ever-electrifying Nelson, but alas, the blond-haired, blue-eyed son of a Kansas farmer was too big, strong, athletic, and fast for any Negro who attempts to suppress him…

Pittsburgh lost again, this time to the NFL’s least-talented squad. Hopefully, the Steelers come into next week’s contest against New England a battered and demoralized bunch and are humiliated by the lily-white Pats as thoroughly as possible.

Nelson's second touchdown is worth a look for many reasons. Among them, check out how the black defenders chase him almost all the way to the goal line. He's toying with them for the last 20. They NEVER do that when it's a brutha. If anything, it's usually some white safety chasing all the way, so he's the last guy in the frame, so he gets blamed for the TD.

The Packers web site is a good place to find Jordy Nelson highlights. I listened to the game on the radio, to tell you the truth I would rather listen to the black guys who are less than smooth than listen to a white man playing the caste game like Collingsworth.

This is what bothers me the most. Jordy has seen part time duty during most of his career in GB, and after his break-out 2011 season, we finally hoped for full-time duty last year, but injuries prevented that. Even this year, being heathy and by far the best WR on the team, I'm puzzled why Rodgers doesn't look at him more often. Last night, he didn't see a single target during GB's opening drive which lasted almost 7 min, until the TD throw in the redzone.

I fully agree, if Rodgers looked at Jordy the same way Stafford targets Johnson, their numbers would be very similar.

He's, without a doubt, an elite receiver in the NFL, no matter which criteria or measure you use.

How does a guy get 329 receiving yards but only one touchdown? I watched a good portion of the Detroit-Dallas matchup and of course the highlights of Johnson's historic game are being shown countless times along with Dez Bryant's tantrums (mostly excused by the double standard specialists at EPSN and the NFL Network), and there were at least three occasions where Johnson was brought down inside the 5, twice at the 1 yard line. Johnson is obviously very talented but his top speed is less than that of Jordy's.

Do you think there will be a commercial featuring Jordy where his 40 time keeps getting lowered down to the 4.1 range, as is currently the case with Calvin Johnson? Me neither, especially when announcers and analysts are afraid to even mention that he's fast.

Then check-out...they say Eddie Lacy "with his WORK-HORSE like performance & 18 yards receiving..is a lock for RB1+ status next week....

So some MATH here...Hillis had 20/70 & Lacy 29/94....you give the ball to Hillis 9 more times that's over 100 yards at that rate"" At least 24 more yards....yet Hillis is plodding...that must mean Lacy is LUMBERING? Right? Not in Amerika...+ Hillis outweighs Lacy by at least 15 lbs...

The only difference for silly Fantasy owners was Lacy got his short TD; Hillis did not; but he got his last week...

Hopefully Clemens comes out with a solid effort, but if the Rams are to win and it may rest on the shoulders of the defense vs pete's plantation. The offense before Bradford got hurt was average. They should trade for Toby Gerhart. Big improvement at the running back position.

The Seahawks have a top RB in Lynch yet they unsuccessfully ran Wilson twice in a row from the 1 yard line, most likely to add to Wilson's "legend" with Gruden cooing about him even more than he has. He's yet another black QB likely to become injury prone because of his style and small size.

Clemens' first pick looked to be Jared Cook running the wrong route. He's done ok considering what he has to work with, namely a bunch of very young receivers and a tight end in Cook who is annually predicted to "break out" because of his supposed wonderful athleticism but who is quite mediocre in reality.
