My new favorite sports reporter is a guy that works for NFL Network, Elliot Harrison. Last week he wrote in one of his articles, "Why does every announcer say Andrew Luck is faster than you think, are they saying that just cause he's white?" Missed the game, but it sounds like Manning did put on a clinic, with the help of his receivers, who were where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there. Makes it a lot easier for the QB.

Contrast that to the discombobulated crew Aaron Rogers had to work with on Sunday. I'd put him right up there (close anyway) with Manning as a field general, but at times poor Rogers looked like a guy trying to herd cats out there.

There's a reason the Wonderlic is part of the draft process.

Derek Wolfe has been pretty much invisible through the first 2 3/4 games. No sacks or big plays, and hardly any tackles including a goose egg so far tonight. I was hoping he would become a star in his second season but it's not happening so far.

Wolfe has essentially been as ineffective as Ndamukong Suh this season. He’s been rotating in and out of the lineup, which also doesn’t help his stat-line. After Wolfe, DT Mitch Unrein is the only white defensive player on the roster. An injury to starting DT, Kevin Vickerson, could allow Unrein to start in the future. This, along with injuries to OL Vasquez and Ramirez, would be advantageous for our cause. Also, should TE Julius Thomas fall victim to injury (as he has in the past), Dreessen/Tamme could regain their roles in the offense. These adjustments could permit 8-9 white starters instead of 5, making this squad far more palatable. [Fingers crossed]

Stuff like this makes me wonder if we really are making any difference. Even when the whole black quarterback movement has come to a standstill in the league everyone seems intent on pumping more of these black quarterbacks into the league.

I recommend everyone on here checks the Mock drafts. Its nothing but black QBs in the early rounds. The only non-black projected high is a Polynesian by the name of Marcu Mariota.

Add the recent phenomenom of White starting QBs unfairly losing their jobs in weird circumstances to the likes of Kaepernick, Pryor, Wilson, Geno, manuel.

You got that right. The media tells us that the best QB's coming out of college are Teddy Bridgewater, Tajh Groyd, and Brett Hundley. Marcus Mariota is another name thats been thrown out there as well. My guess with Mariota is that they'll hype him up for now, but if he falters with whatever team drafts him, they will give him the Mark Sanchez/George Zimmerman treatment and call for him to be replaced by a black quarterback.

Yes they are performing bad so far and it is great but it's not stopping the media from ignoring the facts that the spread option has been figured out and these black quarterbacks cannot hang in the pocket and make all the required throws.

The garbage time stat padding against prevent defense is all the media needs to prove there case as the average DWF is not intelligent enough to make the connection.

It's worse than that. 2 of those 4 wins are against Jacksonville, possibly the worst NFL team in the last 5 years. The other 2 wins are against the Giants (0-3), and Green Bay. One quality win out of 15 games?

Peyton Manning getting a lot of love from ESPN today. Every show raving about him. It was even reported that he runs the offensive meetings and that they are player only. That must be a first in the history of any and all football. The QB doubling as the Offensive Coordinator and it being made public. How friggin good is Peyton Manning?

Yet no pundit ever suggests that finding a QB like Manning(perhaps Andrew Luck) is the optimal way to go to build a championship team. I wonder why?

I was thumbing through the USA Today fishwrap at the hotel this morning, and the "power rankings" had this to say about the Patriots:

Defense looking good vs. EJ Manuel, Geno Smith and Josh Freeman. The next three opposing quarterbacks, however, are Matt Ryan, Andy Dalton and Drew Brees.

But I thought that the three black quarterback mentioned above are the future, and are all awesome. Maybe the writer just messed up and meant to say that since the defense survived their toughest challenge against three great QBs, now they can take it easy against three immobile boring white QBs.
