Quarterback has never been played better than it is this season by Peyton Manning. He's the greatest quarterback ever, perhaps the best football player ever considering the importance of the position he plays. I hope the Broncos win at least one Super Bowl before he hangs 'em up, as the single one he won with the Colts is the only thing on his resume that's holding back recognition of his unique greatness by some.
 
Eric Decker is up to 113 yards in the first half alone. Wes Welker has 52 yards so far. I agree with you Don. Petyon Manning is in a class all by himself. As good as Brady is, I give the edge to Manning over any other qb in the nfl. Then Brady and Rogers probably 4rd with Brees being 4th. Manning makes it look so easy and he is still a student of the game. He would make a great coach someday if he decides he wants to be.
 
How many times in this game are 2 DB's going to run into each other and give up a big play? They tackle each other better than they tackle receivers. Certainly wrap up about as effectively.
 
Nice camera pan to Welker and Decker sitting together on the bench chatting........I'll bet Tom Brady misses his bench buddy....just sayin'
 
Broncos 1st half offensive performance has to be the best coached, played and discipline play that I have seen in a long time. The only time I can remember an offensive clicking like this is Patriots 2 or 3 years ago. Our guys are looking amazing out there. Another half to go.

This game is really exhibit A of the difference a great White QB can make for your team. The contrast is stark. Oakland is horrible but the Denver defense is not much better then theirs. The difference is Manning is a true field general, moving guys around, changing the play to beat the defense. He's running a clinic out there.

Welker and DT show themselves to be mortal, by not catching a NFL type throws for TD. Oh, well, can't be superstars every minute of the game. Decker on the other hand has now played 2 pro bowl type games in a row.

Derek Wolfe has been pretty much invisible through the first 2 3/4 games. No sacks or big plays, and hardly any tackles including a goose egg so far tonight. I was hoping he would become a star in his second season but it's not happening so far.

Stuff like this makes me wonder if we really are making any difference. Even when the whole black quarterback movement has come to a standstill in the league everyone seems intent on pumping more of these black quarterbacks into the league.

Chucky can not suppress his inner castean feelings. A receiver makes a catch to get to the 1 yard line. Chucky goes on how "special' this affelet is for doing his job. Chucky always does this for affelets. A white player makes a play in garbage time, and he starts talking about next weeks game. But an affelet does his job in garbage time and the world has to know. Chucky a front line solider in the castesystem.
