Many DWF's are suggesting that “Swope doesn’t actually play that fast.†Right. Below is probably the best “career highlight†video for Swope. On his long TD's, he looks every bit as fast as his blazing Combine 40 time suggests...

I particularly admire Swope’s on-field attitude. He seems to play angry, as can be seen in his reaction after various catches against LSU and Alabama. He seemed to downright enjoy scorching those SEC Negroes. Swope also seems impervious to pain, and frequently celebrates after taking “big hits.â€

I see in Swope a faster, more athletic version of Victor Cruz. They have an identical height, weight, and build, both have great football instincts, and both are natural route-runners who always seem to break a big play on “double move†routes.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Swope go to the Bills in the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] round. Even during their “whiter years†4-5 years ago, the Bills never had a white receiver. In fact, I can’t remember a single white WR even making the Bills 53-man roster since the Marv Levy days of Don Beebe, Steve Tasker, and Justin Armour (1995-1996?). That's 17 years...

My final thoughts on the combine from the serious to the comedic. When Michael Irving is passing his pee tests he has insightful thoughts on the receivers. He said he would rather have a Conner Vernon type than a burner who can't run routes or catch the ball. He also said something along the lines that Swope is fast period. I also noticed that the dorky NFL.com announcer clued in the DWF's about the differences between two blocking fullbacks and Rex Burkhead. Also finally Catfish isn't just a southern delicacy and beards can come in all styles.......:bowl:

There are alot of teams that could use Swope. I will just name a few in addition to Buffalo. Miami, Green Bay, Arizona, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, and Minnesota. I just want him to end up on a team that will start him from day one. The kid has pro bowl potential.

I really hope Burkhead and Line can show that they both can run a fast 40 on their pro days. Regardless of how good they have performed over the last four years, stereotypes are very hard to break. This guys are too talented to be rotting away on the bench or to get stuck gaining more weight only to be permanant blocking fullbacks like what the Chargers did to Hester. I'm so glad he finally got out of there and I can't wait for Gerhart to get out of Minnesota as soon as possible!

Nice video. Someone forgot to tell this kid that whites can't ball.

With the 40 time he looks like a no brainer. Someone you could groom as a franchise receiver. Great speed and athleticism.

...and he'll run the right route every time out. Give his full effort. Not whine about his touches. Not get pulled over with a car full of grass (one hopes at least). Not kill his girlfriend.

A far safer investment.

Whatever politically correct pressures are brought to bear against a coach or owner, these are all things that are in the back of his mind.

Here’s Ryan Swope’s interview on the Dan Patrick Show. Notice how Patrick is the first to bring up the question of race, calling it the elephant in the room. Then, he becomes perplexed as to why White receivers are likened to other White receivers. Then, he objected to Ryan comparing himself to a Jordy Nelson type. I hope Patrick asks a black athlete why he compares himself to another black athlete instead of a White one the next time the opportunity comes along. I bet you he wont do it. Silly man.

I suspect if Geno Smiff gets drafted high somewhere in the 1st round. Then aces his wonderlic test, will he get the same type of racist questions from Patrick? "Hey Geno you just aced the wonderlic test. The elephant in the room is that its a big deal since you are a black man. (laughing in the back ground) What are you feelings about that accomplishment and how in the world did you do that? Also, do compare your self to Mickael Vick?" Nah....................Don't think so.

Within a 1/2 hour Patrick is fired. No suspension, Patrick is white you know.

If Burkhead and Line can get a mid 4.5s forty they will be a lock for a 3rd round pick, possibly lower 2nd round pick. Yes, both need a solid 4.6 to not be considered a WSTD or non running RB. Look at what happened to Brian Leonard. Runs a 4.4 something, showed he had the ability to carry the ball as feature back, then back to the bench or 3rd down role, once the supposed better running afflete was available. I am hopeful things have moved a smudgen in our direction in the last 4 yrs with the performances of Leonard, Hillis and Woodhead.

As usual, Thrashen makes some great points. I tend to compare Swope to Reggie Wayne. They are the same height, Swope is a little heavier and has slightly better speed. There is no reason Swope can't be a number 1 receiver from the start. Will he be forced to serve a racial apprenticeship? That's what happened to Kevin Curtis who was just as fast and talented as Swope He was stuck behind Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce for several years. Let's hope the right team drafts him that will play him. He looks like a second round prospect right now.

The caste masters have been hyping afrolete Ziggy Ansah as a DE draft pick (1st round). However, Margus Hunt is taller (6'8 to 6'5), heavier (280 to 270), faster (4.60 to 4.63) and way stronger (38 reps of 225 vs. 21). Based on athletic ability & raw talent, Hunt should be the 2nd DE drafted (round 1) after Werner.

Rex Burkhead will have his pro day this thursday. I expect him to run a mid 4.5 to a 4.6 time. Come on Rex. This is the most important couple of sprints of your life. Show them those wheels you have.

Not on the draft but I'm curious to see where Peyton Hillis and Danny Woodhead end up. I'm hearing rumors of Hillis possibly to the Broncos or Cowboys. Either team would be good but I would prefer him returning back to Denver. I hope Manning puts in his two cents as Hillis can make this team virtually unbeatable if he can return to his form with the Browns. The fans in Denver love him so I think he would be very happy going back there. Woodhead probably will stay with the Pats but I wouldn't mine seeing him leave if he could get a guarantee to have more chances to run the ball. Danny averages 4.9 yards per carry in his career and around 10 yards per reception. Those numbers are simply incredible. So why is there so little interest? I think you guys already know!:icon_evil:

From a write-up about Marqus Hunt from Bleacher Report:

Hunt led all defensive linemen in the 40-yard dash, as he was clocked at 4.6. Hunt also topped the linemen in the bench press, as he had 38 reps of lifting 225 pounds.

Watching Marqus run the forty was a pretty impressive site for a 6’8â€￾ fella.

if only his name were Marqus or Marcus, then he might have a better shot. The reasons I have heard for Ansah being considered having more upside over Hunt is because Hunt is an "old 26", I think Ansah is 23 going on 24, and people still aren't sure if that is his real age. When you have White defensive ends playing at a high level in their 30's I don't think its that big of a deal. Justin Smith is 32 and just now hitting his peak.

Happy that Swope timed at 4.34, man just think if he had stayed at runningback.

Hopefully Burkhead can get a real chance but even if he does run in the 4.5 range at his pro day, nobody is going to quote that time for him. The only problem with the "official" time is that its not really official, just happens to be the one they put up on the page, half of the process is still hand timed. Its just hard for me to accept that someone with a 39 inch vertical and a 10 5 broad can't crack 4.7, I know he added some weight to get to 214 but it shouldn't have slowed him down that much. He definitely does not play like a 4.7 on the field.

The NFL has done their absolute best to bury this information, apparently, but Sam McGuffie participated at a Regional Combine last month.
Some of his numbers:

40: 4.28
VJ: 41.5"
BJ: 11.2"
SS: 3.8s

A negro RB/WR with those numbers would have had his own writeup on the NFL's official blog site. Sam mentioned on twitter that he got invited to the Super Regional Combine in Dallas in April.

Wow those number are unbeleivable. Flipping incredible athlete. I just hope he gets a fair shot as more than just a special teams demon or returner.

So lemme get this straight. You would think a guy who has 362 career tackles in the Big 12 would automatically receive an invite to the combine. Not to mention he has great size 6'2 200lbs,runs a 4.41 40 yard dash, shows the explosiveness needed with a 41.5 inch vert.. But that's not the case if you are a white male in America.

CBS Sports: Strong safety Cody Davis stole the spotlight at Texas Tech's Pro Timing Day.

It's time for more people to wake up and smell the roses. We need to be more assertive and firm in our beliefs. Between seeing Cody Davis being snubbed and hearing of Obongo importing more Africans and Mexicans everyday to replace the native population it makes me sick to my stomach.

I did not know Ryan Swope had a history of concussions, as was reported a couple of days ago - might affect his draft positioning. At any rate, his performance sure was not affected in 2012.

Video: Texas A&M Wideout Ryan Swope Does “Dude Perfectâ€
Matt Lombardi - CS Editor-in-Chief

The “Dude Perfect†guys are back at Texas A&M with another (former) Aggies star, wideout Ryan Swope. Last time we saw one of these videos, Johnny Football was throwing footballs through hoops from hundreds of feet away. But in this version, Swope’s “pillow hands†are on display.

Swope catches and holds onto five “kickoffs†at once, snags tennis balls with one hand from close range, and even cradles eggs from up to four stories high. It also seems be a push to get Swope on the cover of EA Sports’ NCAA Football 2014. Here’s the video – look out for the panda.

I highly doubt there is a negro alive that can carry Swopes jock. If this guy was black he would be a top 3 pick. Of course if he was black he would still be a tailback;)

I did a search on this and couldn't find anything about Swope having concussions. Mike Mayock is the one that made the claim, and it's been immediately treated as gospel. Admittedly my search wasn't extensive, but it appears Swope played every game or just about every game while at Texas A&M so I have serious doubts about the accuracy of it.

Professional Tebow hater Merrill "the Hog" Hoge is now bashing Matt Barkley, along with pseudo-"expert" Greg Cosell:

After a five-game study of USC QB Matt Barkley, ESPN's Merril Hoge believes Barkley is a "project" who deserves to be drafted in the third or fourth round. NFL Films' Greg Cosell recently called Barkley a "fourth-round talent" on tape. "He's a flat-footed thrower, which I haven't seen (before), quite honestly," said Hoge. "And that really affects his ability to drive the football. And he doesn't have a big arm anyway. He's very sloppy and erratic in the pocket, as well. And that combination is a little disturbing when you're transitioning to the NFL. ... At the line of scrimmage, I didn't see a guy who really understood the protections and all the pressures. Made a lot of mistakes, threw a lot of bad balls. And those type of things would concern me."

Great news guys. We can him "Rocket" Rex Burkhead now after today. Rex ran the 40 twice with both runs in the 4.5 range! Very exciting news indeed. I'm so happy for him and relieved at the same time. Here is the link to the article.

thats great news, but unfortunately many people are still going to cite the 4.73 time. It doesn't add up, hand times usually aren't off by .2, usually by .1 which means he should have ran at least in the 4.6 range at the combine. I imagine his 10 yard split is his best attribute, thats all they work on at Nebraska from what I have read, 10 yard dashes. His 39 inch vertical and 10 5 broad jump shows that he is explosive.

Interesting that Eddie Lacy also had a hamstring injury and couldn't run at the combine, just like the last Alabama runningback that came out last year.

Yes, guys usually run .1 faster at Pro Days than Combines. The 4.73 times doesn't look legit to me. Many tight ends who are 40 lbs heavier run faster times than that and Burkhead clearly looks faster on tape. I suspect his Combine time should have been in the 4.58-4.62 range. While that number isn't great, it's still decent.

Good stuff.

I also wanted to pull the section about LB Will Compton from the article as well. He put up very good numbers!

Former Nebraska linebacker Will Compton Thursday wore the biggest smile of all the Huskers working out at Pro Day. He ran a 4.54 40-yard dash, jumped 32 inches in the vertical, more than nine feet in the broad jump, and finished with 24 repetitions in the 225-pound bench press. Of the 15 scouts on hand, Compton said, several had strong feedback.
“I helped myself out a lot,â€￾ Compton said. “I got a bunch of great feedback. I’m humbled and flattered. I can’t wait to go call my parents.â€￾
