The Colts summarily waived safety John Boyett today, after he was arrested for disorderly conduct at a bar, and supposedly told the cops, "you can't arrest me, I'm a Colts player."
Now, this may seem run of the mill behavior, in fact actually less severe than we frequently see from entitled affletes, but Boyett is white, so he had to go. Immediately. Without any questions asked. ESPN ran a story about this on "Mike and Mike" this morning, and both Mikes agreed that releasing him was the only thing the Colts could do. How they keep a straight face saying that kind of thing is beyond me. I suppose they know better than anyone that the DWFs simply are not capable of cognitive thought, of recalling the dozens and dozens of instances where blacks were far more "disorderly" and yet kept their NFL jobs, until the inevitable dropping of charges and/or "sentence" of community service.
Remember a few years ago when a punter got into a VERBAL argument with a taxi driver and was instantly released. Then there was a white WR, sorry I've forgotten his name, who was a bit of a troublemaker for a "white boy," who was accused of punching another man (not a pregnant baby mama or anything like that), and then Denver coach Mike Shanahan made him take a lie detector test and if he'd failed it, the coach said "I'd have cut him on the spot."
The double standard for blacks and whites in all sports now ought to be glaringly obvious to even the dumbest DWF. But it isn't. And that's why we face such a tough road in trying to turn the tide, expose the corruption and topple the Caste System.
