We've been through this argument before with Gaffney. Sure, him mom is mestizo, but unlike someone like Mark Sanchez, Gaffney is identified by DWFs as white as you and me. First, he doesn't carry the Hispanic surname, and he doesn't speak Spanglish. That, and the fact that the media has never mentioned his brown mama makes him a white honkey Zimmerman cracka to all that give a damn and even to those who don't. So enough of this already, Go Tyler Gaffney, the White Man!

as a side note, what are his draft prospects looking like? he's being ranked about 20ish according to different draft sites (but we know how fair they are, right!)

damn it, ive been tuning out of their games because of his lack of playing time.. Watching Iowa, and Weissman is an afterthought.

Gaffney is White, more White than Greg Salas or Andrew Sendejo. The comment about him lacking suddenness proves that. All they did was look at the box score, his longest carry and his ypc. They ran playss designed to get him 3 to 4 yards to play ball control offense to keep the d fresh. It worked, and he looked explosive hitting the holes that were there, against a team selling out to play the run.

If he were considered hispanic they would have complimented him, the league DOES want hispanic players to tap into that market, Gaffney just doesn't fit that profile well enough. Mark Sanchez did, they tried doing it with Romo but didn't work. They try to push it with Victor Cruz, hes got a commercial with his hispanic mother and grandmother.

Weve had numerous arguments on this, and he is White. Salas was argued White but I am still iffy on that one.

Even though Zwinak has almost 100 yards rushing, I am very happy Minnesota is winning. They have tons of White men all over including nearly all of their pass catchers. Maxx Williams just caught a 24 yard touchdown. This TE freshman has got some serious potential as a receiver. Very athletic.

it keeps happening, I flip back to catch Zwinak and I see Belton miss a key block leading to a sack leading them to punt, this seems to be a pattern. I slept through all the great White performances on Sunday. I keep missing it every time a White player is doing well, like Hillis starting and doing well, I watched a replay of that. Maybe I should just not watch it until afterwards. Im superstitious like that. If it helps our cause haha

It seems they stopped using Zwinak just long enough to hurt any chances of him getting a shot in the NFL. If he would have put back to back 1k seasons then he might have been invited to the combine, and then might have had a shot. Hopefully he can be a priority free agent.

When you are White they don't care what you did you did before your last season. DWFS will look at this stat sheet from this year and say "yeah not good enough", especially since the two games with the least carries were against Michigan and Ohio State, they are going to take that as "proof" he couldn't cut it against those teams. Belton only needed like 50 carries to put up 180 yards against those two teams combined

Bo Wallace looks like he could be the real deal in the NFL. I am not sold on Zach Mettenberger just yet, will have to watch more, he has the prototypical size/strength but I dunno, I think he is going to wind up in a Blaine Gabbert situation, hopefully I am wrong, i have watched more games of his from last year (only watched a couple) and he has improved this year

Finally, I get to see the qb from BYU, and on the plus side I get to watch Johnny Manziel at the same time.

I don't watch college football much at all, but just as I turned on the TV today, I saw Zach run for a long one (end of 1st half), so I kept watching for a bit longer. he should be a senior, he ran for 1k barely playing in 3 games as a junior

but looking it up, he tore his knee his freshman year in October so he has a year left of eligibility. Great news to hear, but with the way he has been treated it makes me kind of nervous. He has a chance of 700+ rushing yards at least this season. If he lost playing time to a generic Belton who is also a junior, who knows what magical afflete is waiting in the wings to take away

reading up on his bio, appears he has the genetics, his dad was a DT at Virginia Tech (power) and his mom was a track star at North Carolina (speed)

Taylor Martinez isn't even Spanish. His dad was adopted and kept his new families last name and is on record saying that Taylor is Irish, German and French.

Taylor's real mom left them and his step mom who raised him is Polynesian, which is why he has a poly tattoo on his arm.

His name and tattoo have confused many fans but the interview cleared it up, although many keep referring to him as hispanic, all because of one college newspaper in Nebraska saying he was with something like "Nebraskans embrace Hispanics". While it would be nice to see Karempelis get some more carries, Richt has a white tailback in the rotation, which is shocking by itself. It also looks as though black quarterback Christian Lemay is now 4th string at best, thank God.

I'm afraid that FSU's Jameis Winston has locked up the Heisman at this point. The mantra will be that 'we gave it to a White freshman QB last year..... Why not a freshman black QB this year'. All FSU has left is HBCU Floriduh, and either Miami or Duke in the ACC championship.......so it looks like they will play for a NC with a freshman who will win the Heisman........not that I'm happy about any of that.
