Wow! What a strange night in the NBA! First, it seems many top white players are missing games here and there due to various injuries/ailments just as they are hitting stride. Spencer Hawes had missed a few games along with Kyle Korver, Nikola Vucevic, and Marc Gasol as well as Chandler Parsons just as they all were playing well and among NBA leaders in points or rebounds, not to mention Jimmer Fredette didn't log a single minute for the lowly Sacramento Kings last night. You'd think they may want to try something different.
Then, I find out J.J. Redick and Chandler Parsons are out of the lineup tonight! Then, the Minnesota/San Antonio game in Mexico City was cancelled due to smoke in the Mexico City Arena. A failed generator or something.
Oh well, on to the good news. As mentioned on the Kyle Korver thread, Korver ties an NBA record for at least 1, 3 pointer made in 89 straight games! Here are Korver's stats as well as other top performances.
Korver, 23/3/5 ast.
Dragic, 19 points and 4 steals
Plumlee, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks in the first half for Phoenix, I don't think he played the second half, why?
Nowitzki, followed up his 25 point performance last night with, 21/7/3 ast./ 2 stls/ and 4 blocks. Dallas beats New Orleans 100-97.
Anderson, 18/14 and..
J. Smith, 12/9 for New Orleans
Ersan Ilyasova, Mil, 22/10
Ridnour, Mil, 10/ 8 ast. both Ersan and Luke came off the bench and at one point in the game, had more points,(32) in 52 minutes than the Milwaukee starters, (23 points), had in 83 mins. Ridnour and Ilyasova should be starting!
Kyle Singler was rewarded for his 18/5 performance with a big 20 mins. tonight and scored 15 for Detroit, while some the Piston starters scored less with double the minutes!
Finally, Timofey Mozgov was rewarded for his 17/20 game with 16 minutes, where he had 8 points and 3 rebounds as Denver loses to Cleveland.
Indiana and Utah still playing....
Kanter, Utah, 20/10
Hayward, Utah, 12/4/6
Utah loses to Indiana, Scola,14/6
