My guess at this early stage is that the Seahawks will dump Tarvaris Jackson and enter the season with Matt Flynn #1 at QB and Russell Wilson #1A. Wilson is already a DWF favorite and will likely make some plays during preseason games to further increase his popularity. At 5' 10" or 5' 11" he'll be a great media story as the black version of Doug Flutie. His supposed instant poise and leadership skills will be praised to the sky. Flynn will be on a short leash, and as he has very little experience in NFL regular season games he's going to make his share of mistakes, which will increase the clamor for Wilson to be the starter.

As mentioned in my post above, I don't envy Matt Flynn's position. Pete Carroll has taken a page from the Steelers' handbook and has three black QBs along with Flynn, including the "charismatic" rookie Russell Wilson. Given how little regular season experience he has, there's a good chance this will end badly for Flynn, as he will be on the usual very short leash when it comes to the team and the DWFs. Unfortunately the scenario I predicted in this thread continues to unfold. There's a good chance it won't be just "RGIII" that DWFs across the country will be hyper-ventilating over this season when it comes to rookie black QBs.

It's confirmation from coach Pete Carroll that Wilson is, in fact, in the mix for the team's starting quarterback job. Matt Flynn is considered the favorite after signing a three-year, $19.5 million contract in March, but he'll need to beat out both Wilson and Tarvaris Jackson.

Owens actually has pretty good hands for a black WR, so it's possible he could be useful in his old age as he probably is about as slow as most reputed "speedsters", especially the dogs Pete Carroll gets, and is still tall, the drawback will be the amount of drama he brings with him. Carroll deserves whatever grief he gets from this move.

It's unbelievable what has happened here, a couple of decent games against 2nd and 3rd stringers, and vanilla defenses, and a good segment of the Seattle media and DWF community are already going crazy over this guy and want him to be the starter. Looks like Pete Carroll may not disappoint them:

Only losing teams can afford to go AA at QB. Fortunately these experiments blow up in the coaches face so just sit back and wait for the explosion. Plus the shelf life is pretty low. How many people drafted Josh Freeman as a starter on their FF teams last year? Nobody doing that this year. Cam Newton is up there with Brees and Brady on the FF draft lists. I'm betting next year that will considered the worst decision of the season. Same with Wilson and Griffin. Big gambles, low odds of success.

I'd rather watch the trio of Big Ben, Heath Miller and Brett Keisel over any 3 players on Seattle. This is a repugnant team in every sense. Pete Carroll, who's as anti-White as any coach in the league. The treatment of Matt Flynn. A complete blackout on the defensive side of the ball. Bringing in thugs and malcontents like Terrel Owens, Kellen Winslow and Braylon Edwards. The treatment of Kris Durham which is another mind-boggling "business decision".

What team wastes a 4th round pick on a guy and never even gives him any playing time to prove himself....in preseason! Bringing in a near 40 year old Owens only makes sense for a team who is looking to contend now. Caste-whore Carroll must have delusions of grandeur. Especially if he intends to start a 5'-10" rookie black quarterback. I would hope Durham gets cut so he can finally start his career elsewhere but in this retched league a cut could mean the end for him.

2-14 would be fitting for this squad.

Had Terrell Owens caught the perfectly thrown bomb from Flynn for a TD would this be an issue?? Then Golden Tate steps out of bounds with another perfectly thrown ball by Flynn...I'm not giving up yet.

I will always remember ole Petey Carroll trying to convert Tailback Toby Gerhart to Fullback or Linebacker when he was at USC...Gerhart had to say "no thanks".

The Seahawks did re-sign CB Donny Lisowksi(after releasing him when they signed Owens)...no doubt a long-shot will have to make every single tackle on special teams & back-flips & INT's in the 4th qtr. if he even gets the opportunity.

Whenever I see footage of the manic Pete Carroll he reminds me of a 60 year old who's a boy in an adult body. His visage makes me feel like hissing, much the way Jim Haslet's did when he was the head coach of the Saints during their era as the blackest team in the league.

It's best now for Flynn to hope that Wilson gets the starting job and isn't up to the task, much the way Tarvaris Jackson wasn't. Flynn isn't much more than a rookie himself when it comes to regular season playing time. He reminds me of Kevin Kolb's situation where Kolb is all but buried now as a starter even though he hasn't played that much in the regular season. But at least Kolb's competition in Arizona is White.

The fact that Johnson and Owens were even given opportunities shows just how terrible the NFL has really become and the lack of black talent at many positions. Both guys are finished and every gm and coach in the league knows it but they will still be given an opportunity. Owens is 38 for goodness sakes. How many talented white receivers could have filled those two spots at least for the preseason to showcase their skills? The signing of these two buffoons, if even for a few preseason games, is nothing more than the NFL putting on a MTV type reality show for the DWF's.

It must suck to be Flynn, who got beat out by a 3rd round midget, who had 1 good half against a bunch of 2nd and 3rd string guys and another against a KC team missing some key defenders. He never got a proper chance to compete for the job.

Already, the DWFs are over-joyed, as a chorus of "Brees 2.0" and "In the battle with Luck/RGIII for ROY" are being heard. Even for a corrupt league and its caste system, this one has come out of nowhere.

I read an article that projected the Seahawks’ 53-man roster for 2012. According to the writer, “Wigger Pete†(as Truthteller hilariously dubbed him) is likely to keep 12 whites, or 13 if Kris Durham makes the team with Owens' departure. One backup QB, one starting TE, 5 OL, one backup LB, one backup DB, one K, one P, one LS…

Offense: QB Matt Flynn, TE Zach Miller, G Paul McQuistan, G John Moffitt, C Max Unger, G JR Sweezy, and T Brino Giocomini (who is extra-Mediterranian looking, nearly non-white)

Defense: LB Heath Farwell, S Chris Maragos

Special Teams: P Jon Ryan, K Steven Haushka, LS Clint Greshman

As others have mentioned, Russell Wilson “winning†the starting job for Pete’s Posse may work out for the best. The Seablacks will falter in 2012, Wilson’s confidence will be shattered, and Carroll’s Negrophilic buttocks will be simmering upon the proverbial “coaches hot seat.†With any luck, the Seahawks and Steelers (who may break their own bigoted record by featuring 7 whites on their opening day roster) will have the worst seasons in their respective histories…

Both Donny Lisowski and Jameson Konz were dismissed from Wigger Pete's plantation yesterday. Lisowski is certainly not a surprise, since he was cut/resigned just this month to make room for T.O., who was also cut. Konz has three problems, he can't stay healthy, he is always in position transition, and he's not one of Carroll's guys. I think Lisowski has a chance for the practice squad, but Konz is either through or maybe someone will take a chance on his athleticism.

Of the 12 cuts by the Seachickens, only 2 are white. But only because there aren't that many on the roster to begin with.

I hope the worst for Seattle this season. They might be inclined to fire Carroll after a third non-winning season. I am looking forward to seeing Wilson struggle once teams scheme to stop him. This isn't Wisconsin where he had five top notch white o-line men protecting him.
