Rookie Colin McCarthy started at MLB today for the injured Barret Ruud and has 8 tackles, 5 of them solo.

Eric Decker is now second in the league with his 8 TD catches.

The lowly Cardinals are on the Philly 1 with 2 minutes left. If they score, let's see if Vick can engineer a comeback for Fat Bastard's Dream Team. If they lose they're all but out of the playoffs already.

This has been a great day so far. Now we need New England to take it to the Jets.

Tebow is only going to get better in the passing game. He's not as far off as his critics think.

Tim "All He Do Is Win" Tebow.
My internet has been down today, so I listened to ESPN Game Day with the generic host and Eric Allen. Of course they talked about the Broncos game and Allen implied that the Broncos need to look for a qb that could get them to the Super Bowl. I don't recall Allen ever saying that about Radio after about 5 starts? No agenda here lets move on....:dizzy::thumbdown:

Don, what football package so you have that allows you to watch multiple games? Direct TV or Cable?

Vick throws a pick to lose the game. The Big 3 of Great Black QB Hopes -- Vick, Newton and Freeman -- were all awful today.

As I've written for years, it has been predicted for 35 years that QB would eventually become a "black" position. There has been probably more hope and corporate money invested in Vick and now Newton than any so far.

AA it seems in a karmic way the giving people what they asked for not what they wanted.

Blackhawks seem to have 21 black starters... (haven't really looked at the o-line but that's the impression i got, i know they have few whites there).

The complete failure of the black quarterback experiment is one of the few things that gets me excited about the NFL today. Newton has come back down to earth but to be fair he'll be a decent quarterback for years just never a superstar. I don't know how these affletes in college like Russell Wilson and Robert Griffin are putting up great numbers but I expect them to fail in the NFL.

They have three white offensive linemen and of course Zach Miller. The white linemen may be injured though. They should have Galler, Max Unger at center, and the rookie John Moffitt.

Nice to see Newton get blown out of the water today. The pro game is different than college game. Alot of the schemes in college do not work in the NFL.

The Bears' d-line has finally gelled. Being down by quite a bit already (20), it doesn't appear there will be a Detroit miracle today.

The poor games of Hartline and Walter are pretty depressing. Both had just one reception a piece that went for 6 yards.

Also it's a travesty what has happened to Zach Miller. He was a top 5 tight end not long ago but I'm guessing he's being forced to block a lot and his receiving numbers are taking a hit.

That drop by Victor Cruz for the Giants is one of the worst I've seen. It looked harder to drop than to catch. Interception next play.

I can't feel bad for Zach Miller. He made the decision to go to Seattle as a free agent. He knew that the QB situation was a joke.

He had to deal with Campbell in Oakland. Not really much better but I bet he wished he stayed in Oakland with Palmer running the show now.

Looks like the only win for the black quarterback contingent will come from Tarvaris Jackson of all people. Baltimore with a sorry effort so far in Seattle. Btw, so there are 4 starting black quarterbacks in the NFL this year? That has to be a recent-years low.

I'm hearing the talking heads ridicule Tebow for only having 2 completions yet they ignore him only having 8 attempts.

Did you guys see the hit Suh put on Jay Cutler? He ripped his helmet off on purpose. This guy is such a dirty player and the NFL is not doing enough to crack down on this type of behavior. I was happy to see Cutler get up and go at him. They were yelling at each other. This is the 2nd time he has done this just to Cutler. The guy is out of control.

Looking forward to watching Welker and the Pats in a few minutes.
