Utah State just got about three B.S. fouls called on them in about a minute. That includes a B.S. foul on one of their best players, Tai Wesley. Utah State is really shooting themselves in the foot right now. Some very sloppy play from the Aggies. The refs do love K-State again this year, though. Remember last year when they played BYU?

Michigan State (10 seed) is playing UCLA (7 seed) in the 1st round. I essentially consider this a black -vs- black.

Michigan State got a better seed than they should have gotten.. at best, I would have given them a #12 seed.

I see a lot of black -vs- black:

Cinci/Missouri
Washington/Georgia
Arizona/Memphis
Temple/Penn State
Xavier/Marquette
George Mason/Villanova
St. Johns/Gonzaga
West Virginia/Clemson or UAB

There are certainly some questionable things about this Tourny, no doubt, but I'm not seeing a big conspiracy.

I stick with what I said in the above post, but I do have personal preferences in some of the above games..

For instance -- I'm glad that Temple, West Virginia and UCLA won. I'm also going for Xavier, but I have my doubts that they'll win. West Virginia's win sets-up a Tourny "rematch" between them and Kentucky.. hey, and one of them (Huggins or Calipari) is going to lose!

Michigan's pouring it on the thugs from Tennessee! Michigan's large contigent of white players has been playing really well today.

G/F Zack Novak is leading Michigan with 14 points, and Matt Vogrich has nine for the Wolverines off the bench.

I hope Pearl gets canned after this game.Edited by: Jack Lambert

Whites can BALL!!

Notre Dame just won, too!

Yeah, I know what you mean Tough. That guy was a beast.

He had the final "half" block on a completely trapped Marra with no time left too. It was close to a foul, but was probably a good no call- since he appeared to only hit his hand right around the same time as the ball and it would be hard to decide the game on final foul shots like that. It looked to me that he may have hit Marra's hand a tenth of a second before the ball though.

If most of the white guys are back on Louisville next year I might have to hope for them to make it to the final four next year so we will have another fair team in the blackfest Big East. I predict Petino goes back to his old ways if Louisville doesn't do well next year. I used to see him as a "blame whitey" black appeaser type.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

Yeah, all of the Card's white players are coming back, but Louisville's next two classes look to be filled with a bunch of affletic talent.

All black Memphis is gone, as is Villanova!

Luke Hancock hit the go-ahead three for George Mason, and finished the game with a team-high 18 points I believe.

That was a clinic.

Good info and no biggie, but U-M also made the tournament two years ago, so now Beilein has been to two more than Tommy Amaker in Ann Arbor.

Florida State defeated a thoroughly-overrated A&M squad. This sets up a tougher match-up for Notre Dame, as Abromaitis IS NOT an inside, muscle-type player.. but Jack Cooley is. The coaches need to think about giving Cooley a lot more minutes against FSU.

That being said, I look forward to seeing a tough (it will probably be) Notre Dame/FSU game.. it's time for ND to put on their big-boy shoes!

I was reading in the comments section of the recaps of the KSU-Utah St. game and the Kentucky-Prinction game on Yahooligan-White Rivals that some fans thought the officiating was a little biased toward the big programs. I wouldn't doubt it at all. The bigger schools have more fans and small school programs (maybe mid-major is a better term in this case) with lots of white players tend to have a bit of an officiating bias disparity against them. It helps t.v revenues when the big schools win too- and some officials are cowards and don't want BSPN articles coming out asking why white officials call white players more favourably than black officials (implying only white officials can be racist lol LMFAO). Even if the disparity was small with the officiating it could have been the difference. Princton lost by a mere two and Utah State lost by a mere 5 with Wesley getting in early foul trouble. I hear one of the fouls against him appeared to be a flop by the defender.

Good quote by Deadlift, Yes Notre Dame's seniors must put on their big-boy shoes!

Yeah Tough, I was getting so pissed off at the horrid officiating Utah State recieved I stopped watching during the 2nd half. In addition to Wesley, there were a few bad calls against white players like Brian Green, Newbold, and Bendall.

Sad to see West Virginia go down to Kentucky. Hopefully BYU will take care of Gonzulu tonight.

Over in the Division 2 tourney, BYU-Hawaii has made it to the Elite 8 for the first time in school history. Kind of a conglomeration of "peoples" on this team.

thus far, the 2011 NCAA Tourney has been a terrific showing for White athletes. virtually every White player that has seen the floor for a significant amount of action has been the best (or a pivotal) player for his respective team.

i'm currently watching the Florida-UCLA game, which saw each team start a single White player: Chandler Parsons for Florida, Reeves Nelson for UCLA. "strangely," the White playeris the best player for each team ... it leaves me to wonder, why does each team have so few of these talents and so many of those other types?

also, it never ceases to amaze me the castespeak that the kosher-approved announcers can come up with in order to avoid giving White players credit for actually having talent. take Reeves Nelson, for example. his impressive ability to routinely beat his man off the dribble and attack the rim for vicious dunks was attributed to his "fearlessness" and "toughness." while those are certainly admirable attributes, how does a lack of fear provide the explosiveness, skill, and leaping ability to accomplish such feats?

the answer, of course, is that talent is what allows Nelson to do what he does. but the announcers won't give credence to that. also, of course.

You nailed it Jimmy. That is why so many of us here just put the game on mute and watch it that way. The announcers get worse every year. I can't wait to see Jimmer tonight.

A Morehead State afflete has "fear" tattooed on one arm and "none" tattooed on his other arm..

Boy, does that wreak of insecurity! Interesting how blacks "need" all these little messages tatted on their body....

I didn't realize Gonzulu was as "hot" as the media says they are. Looks like they are 2 point favorites against BYU tonight. I hope the Cougars pull it out! I also hope Butler and Notre Dame win.

BYU is having a hard time trying to defend against Gonzaga's size advantage.

EDIT: Now, BYU is creating some separation! And, where's David Stockton..?Edited by: Deadlift

Not anymore. They are up by 15! I hope Butler somehow pulls off the upset of Pitt. Weird foul just then.

Congrats to Matt Howard of Butler! It takes a smart White player to lead his team to victory and make up for a stupid move by his black teammate.

You gotta admit, without Mack, Butler wouldn't have been in the game, he had something like 27 points.

Good point, but if it hadn't been for Matt Howard, they very well could have lost the game. All it takes is one mental lapse to give a game away.
