Well VCU beat Kansas. That sets up an all "Cinderella" semifinal. One of them will advance to the final again. I just found out wigger Shaka Smart is a Mulatto. I figured he was crazy wigger Jewish guy....

My friends and I all thought he was an Arab.

I hope Butler beats this all-black team.

If anything what hurt them was Rodriguez penetrating into the paint and forcing the guards to crash in, leaving 3 point shooters open. Kansas played them close the second half and Morningstar had several steals. Morningstar had an off day scoring but helped with the little things.Reed finished with 9 points and he missed a couple of free throws that he usually knocks down.Did you miss Morningstars 18 point performance in the Sweet 16? Or were you waiting for the moment he didn't live up to your lofty expectations to trash him.

Kansas needs to hit free throws too troll.

If you hit 53% from free thows this far into the tournament you don't deserve to advance to the next round.

lol troll. I lived in the hood when I first moved out and my "suburban" white friend visited often. Even though we never played regularly on the courts like the blacks, we were able to beat the blacks in the area, that were out there playing every single day. We didn't win EVERY single game, but we won most. It got to the point where they threatened us. On average they do not jump higher from what I have noticed playing. They aren't that quick and they are lacking hand-eye coordination and they trip over themselves too often. I remember one made the excuse of how I just drove to the rim and did a lay up instead of a dunk and thats all i could do. Whats the difference? If i had bigger hands I could have dunked and can dunk if i try but its a risky move. 2 points is 2 points (or in the case for the game we were playing, 1 point). They should have been able to stop it, I mean they play physical enough without any fouls knocking you down.

do you even realize what your username means? anti-caste? That means you believe in the same thing as us. We are against the caste system as well, so welcome. I am glad you realize whites are great athletes and get screwed over in sports.

and as far as their bones being harder haha. The white guys I play with hurt more than the blacks I have played with, and that applies to the sport I played the most where contact is necessary, football, and Ive noticed the same thing on the football field, on average, blacks are not quicker, lack hand eye coordination and trip over themselves quite a bit. What I have noticed is some try to be more flashy which doesn't equal better player. Meaningless extended shake and bakes when simply making one cut and heading up the field wouldve resulted in more yards, spin moves where it wasn't needed etc. Lots of wasted movement that doesn't get them any farther and usually gets them less yardage.

"once you do you will realize how high they jump and quick they are, and how much their hard bones hurt."

Doesn't seem to be stopping Butler (or Duke last year). Nor does it stop the Klitschko Bros. in boxing (since you mentioned hard bones).

Face it - whites are the better athletes.

well their two white players played pretty bad today, while the morris twins racked up the pts and rebounds. maybe blacks are just better, have you ever played a pickup game in a ghetto area, as compared to a suburban white area? once you do you will realize how high they jump and quick they are, and how much their hard bones hurt.

the two White players didn't play badly today; they shot badly. both Reed and Morningstar played excellent defense, and neither had more than 1 turnover. meanwhile, neither of the Morris twins could guard the smaller and more perimeter-oriented "bigs" of VCU, especially Skeen. the VCU post players did a good job of drawingthe Morris twins away from the lane and abused them (again, especially Skeen). conversely, the Kansas game plan of feeding the ball inside to take advantage of the Jayhawks size in the post resulted in large numbers for their two bigs (the Morris brothers), as it should have.

the real problem, however, that you "accidentally" forgot to mention was two-fold:
1) Markieff (sic) Morris not only couldn't guard his man, he single-handedly had 8 turnovers. ouch.
2) the 3-point line killed Kansas on both ends of the floor. the Jayhawks couldn't buy a basket (an abysmal 2-21 from long range), and VCU was on fire (a stellar 12-25 from beyond the arc). the old basketball adage holds true again: if you live by the three, you'll die by the three.

as for the rest of your comments, they are too ridiculously laughable to be legitimate. do you actually believe that nonsense? really?

i work (and play basketball at least weekly) in an all-black area where i am literally one of only two White men present. i am not an elite White talent, yet i routinely dominate the basketball games and amrecognized by my colleagues asthe most intelligent individual at my workplace. how does that work out for your theory? and the only thing hard about blacks that i've noticed is how hard it is for them to do anything right.

I think the VCU-Butler semifinal will be the more interesting one as VCU plays a similar style to George Mason when they made the Final 4. They don't play a true center and their two big men play more of a small forward wing game. For once Butler will have an inside advantage in the low post. It will be interesting to see what team imposes their style on the other. The team that does could blow out the game as I don't see either team doing what are the other teams strengths that well.

I agree. How Andrew Smith and Matt Howard do in the post will determine who wins the game. Butler has the shooters that can knock down threes as well, Shelvin Mack, Zach Hahn, and Matt Howard are three of them. If Butler's able to impose their will inside, I don't think VCU will have an answer. If the game does come down to 3-point shooting, as I said, Butler has the shooters to hold their own, but VCU would have the advantage of a more up-tempo game. Butler plays a very unselfish style of basketball that's gotten them to two straight Final Fours, and I think that gets them back to the National Championship game.

As white is right said, VCU doesn't really have a true big man that plays for them. They live and die by the three point shot. They play a full court press defense that could give Butler some fits during the game. If Butler dominates inside, and breaks VCU's press, it's going to be a long day for the Rams.

Before the tournament started, VCU was shooting 36% on the season from 3pt range.
In their five tournament games?
38%
48%
38%
46%
48%

That's an absolutly astounding stretch of consecutive games in which they have greatly increased their 3pt efficiency. That kind of thing doesn't just happen. Either it's an aberration (and they're due for a poor performance), or there has been some manipulation for the tournament (as I have suggested previously [2% smaller balls, larger rims, etc]).
Butler is actually one of the few teams in the tournament who have shot worse from 3pt range than their regular season average. I can't explain the difference. I only know that if VCU shoots above 40% for a sixth consecutive game, it will be one of the least likely things that has ever happened in the NCAA tournament.

Riddlewire,

or it could mean that VCU is due for a bad shooting game, and Butler is due for a
good one.

I like Butler in that fame since they have two go-to guys down the stretch: Shelvin Mack on
the perimeter and Matt Howard inside.

Butler is the team to root for, but we must also pull for Kentucky to win their game.
After the game, Charles Barkley and Digger Phelps raved about Harrelson who held his own against Sullinger and then Zeller. Zeller played great in a loss, but Kentucky's great white big man also played very well. Those two, along with Brandon Knight were the best players in the game. Knight, in my opinion, is as good as or better than Nolan Smith and Kyrie Irving of Duke. I think that both those Duke guards were overhyped to take the attention away from Kyle Singler and the Plumlee twins. Kentucky played solid, hard-nosed basketball with rebounding, good outside shooting and a lack of showboating. I wish Hood had played but perhaps he will play more in the Final Four.

Harrelson is really helping the cause as he is the back bone of a red-hot Kentucky squad. On the other side Matt Howard is the glue that holds Butler together. Harrelson is playing his way into a professional career, and Howard will get a look in the draft. Both could have long NBA careers. Zeller also played very well and should get drafted. Not a lot of big men in the upcoming draft especially if Sullied-ger goes back to OSU. Legit 7 footers with good post skills are very rare.

Harrelson will be the key in beating U Conn. If he dominates the boards then kentucky's backcourt and wing players can neutralize Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb.

If Matt Howard has a very good game for Butler by scoring and rebounding and not hogging the ball then I think Butler will beat VCU. He also needs to do a good job defending their forwards.

What I like is a Butler-Kentucky final could produce a white Most Outstanding Player for the Final Four.
What's more a white all-tournament team of Jimmer, Diebler/Morningstar, Singler/Parsons/Howard, Harrelson, and Zeller could contend with anyone. I would say that over half of the standout players in the tournament this year were white. Others include Ben Hansbrough, Reeves Nelson, Mike Tisdale, and the Plumlee brothers.

UNC really does have an "entitlement" mentality. If it wasn't for several stupid Kentucky turnovers, Kentuck would have really taken UNC "to the woodshed!"

I like Kendall Marshall's game and his assists, but I would NEVER support a team that has John Henson and Harrison Barnes on it.. I hope they go pro now! Even if they don't, at least they won't be getting a Championship this year.
smiley20.gif

Josh Harrellson going to the Final Four is something they couldn't do with DeMarcus Cousins the year before.. think about this! Josh is a LION on the court! Tyler Zeller was very INTIMIDATING also.. "scary White man" - for sure!!

An all-time CLASSIC battle. Rise of the White bigs, baby!

A few more thought.. My feelings are that UCONN and Kentucky are "non-scary."

For one thing, Kemba Walker is tiny (ala Allen Iverson) so why should I be scared of him? UCONN's Alex Oriaki has been underwhelming in recent weeks, and is not really looking like a potential "NBA star."

For Kentucky, I can acknowledge that Brandon Knight and Terrance Jones have some ability, but I don't consider them to be "NBA-ready" right now. Brandon Knight is more of a 2-guard for Kentucky, and needs refinement to play the point in the NBA. This has been an "underdog" Kentucky team, who despite winning the SEC Tourny, got a 4-seed. Florida, despite losing the SEC Tourny, "somehow" got a 2-seed...

And, UNC had an easy Big Dance road.. I really wanted to see a UNC/Syracuse match-up, but Marquette happened to upset Syracuse.

As for VCU, the MSM is wasting it's breath to salivate over Shaka Smart. He's just another tiny black guy.. In regards to size, he's the black version of Justin Bieber. White alpha-females will universally scoff at his tininess. It's really just the jewboys and whiteboys in the MSM that have a homo-erotic crush on him. A quite sad and disturbing way to "live."

And, of course, wouldn't Butler "match-up better" with VCU than Kansas??!!

This will be the first time VCU faces white basketball. VCU's racism/lack of diversity will make them like babes in the woods and they will certainly lose to Butler -- the great white team.

Harrelson was named to the All-Regional team. Not sure if Zeller was on it, but he probably was.
Harrelson is a great story. He will be in the running for Most Oustanding Player of the Final Four.
If Kentucky goes to the championship he has a GREAT chance to be on the All Final Four Team.
I think Kemba will have a shot, along with Mack even if neither team wins, then Brandon Knight probably makes it.
The other two spots could then very well go to Harrelson and Matt Howard.
A Butler vs. Kentucky Final with beat downs on the other two teams should give us two whites on the Final Four team and about a 50% shot at getting a white MOP. And both players put themselves on the radar for
the NBA draft. If Kentucky can shut down Kemba and Lamb in the next fame then that would be another victory.
I think Kentucky needs some good minutes out of Hood since Kentucky's bench isn't too deep.

modern reporting doesn't get much more positive than this: the Butler Way is the way it should be. of course, it leaves out the obvious racial angle, but it's a glowing review of a White-friendly basketball program.

You root for Butler today not because of Matt Howard's Hair From Hell, not because of Brad Stevens' granite poise, not because of Blue II or Hinkle Fieldhouse or the Bulldogs' less-then-authentic underdog rep.

No, ma'am. You root for Butler because of what happened in Scottsdale, Ariz., this week.

You root for the Butler Way because college athletics has lost its way, and what happened in Scottsdale is the latest Exhibit A. What happened was, Fiesta Bowl president and CEO John Junker got himself fired for apparently greasing employees' palms in return for contributions to politicians cozy with the Fiesta Bowl's interests.

That would not only be a violation of Arizona campaign finance law. It would also jeopardize the Fiesta Bowl's non-profit status, which would in turn jeopardize its membership in the BCS rich guys' club.

This would be a shame, because frankly it wouldn't be the first time the main players in the BCS greased a palm; the exchange of dough for services rendered, after all, is pretty much the life's blood of the whole rotten edifice. I pay you, you pay me. And if we all keep scratching the right backs, the cash keeps right on flowing into the right coffers.

And somewhere in all that commerce, the idea that athletics should enhance the larger mission of the university becomes as quaint as a buggy ride on a Sunday afternoon.

Which is where Butler comes into this.

Butler, where the Way is based on bizarre, antiquated values like shared sacrifice and a common mission.

Butler, where there really is no "I"Â￾ in team, dopey as that sounds in a world where the standard response to that is, "Ain't no ‘We', either."Â￾

"One of our core principles in our locker room is humility,"Â￾ Stevens told David Haugh of the Chicago Tribune the other day. "If you don't have that, you're not here."Â￾

Here's something else you'd better have, if you're there: Your butt in class.

It was viewed with amazement and an almost "aw, how cute"Â￾ paternalism last year when it got out that the Butler players actually showed up for their scheduled classes the day of the championship game. Apparently, though, that's how they do things there. It's how every school ought to do things, frankly, but too often only says it does.

No surprise, then, that Butler's already won the Final Four in one area: academic progress rate. According to the NCAA website, Butler comes in with a perfect APR of 1,000. Virginia Commonwealth is next at 975, Kentucky's at 954 and UConn is at 930.

Roughly speaking, a four-year APR of 925 translates to a 50 percent graduation rate. So UConn's close. And 10 schools who made the 68-team field came in below.

They'll still pocket their fat tournament payouts, of course. That, after all, is the college athletics Way.

And the Butler Way?

Well, you can look at it like this: If they've survived four nail-biters so far, it's because they've been smarter (See: 1,000 APR) at the end of games. That's because they are, of course, exceedingly well coached. It's also because they're exceedingly receptive to that coaching.

Which alone will make the 'Dogs a tough out this weekend. And, for reasons that extend far beyond the court, one worth rooting for.

For several years, I've noticed that all-black teams get all the hype, all season long, only to fold in the tournament to integrated teams.

As for Howard, I'd like to know which "name" programs recruited him, if any. Or did all the coaches within an hour or two of his home in Connersville, IN- Indiana, ND, Ohio St., Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville- write him off as "not athletic enough?"

Butler wins 70-62!!!

Mack led the way with 24 points, while Howard had 17 points (11-12 FT's), 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks.

Hahn had 8 points, while Smith had 4 points, 7 rebounds.

Now, if Kentucky gets past UConn, this finals will be a good one. Not as good as last year, but good enough. It be great to see Harrellson and Howard in the finals.

Might we not already call this season a success, if Butler made it to the very last game?

I think that's pretty good!

I don't really follow basketball, but it seems to be a pretty consistent thing where a team need's to have at least some White guys on it in order to be any good.

It really leaves one scratching his head as to why people in charge of this sort of thing keep recruiting Blacks only.

I know this makes me racist, but in my opinion a totally WHITE team wouldn't necessarily be bad at all, where as an exclusively Black one would probably fail much more often than succeed.

A Butler-KY final would be tolerable, as there were several far worse alternatives this year. Butler really does have the look of a champion. I think that entire program, coaches and players, seem to have a lot of confidence and believe in themselves.

Go Butler!

It would be great if Butler wins it but it's still disappointing when there were so many teams to root for especially BYU and Wisconsin.
