i dont think them being wiggers changes the way media or dwfs view them, and if they were to be a breakthrough players, that would be a breakthrough for white players overall, therefore i would root for them. i dont have to like them in order to cheer for them, haha, they are not my personal acquaintances.

That's a good point, backrow. Wigger athletes do sometimes help the cause of all White athletes with their athletic accomplishments, but they embrace the non-white image and that is usually seen through the media as well. I see them as a mixed bag as far as fighting the Caste System goes. On one hand they can help, but on the other they do damage. I generally don't root for people I don't like, and I don't like wiggers, but I understand your point about cheering for them when they are in a position to help the image of White athletes in the eyes of the media or the DWFs. I guess I just see them as hurting that image more often than not. That's one of the great things about CF to me. We don't all share the same view of things, but we can come together and cheer on our own favorite White athletes and try to break down the Caste System one step at a time.

Surprisingly, at one time Jason Williams had the top selling jersey in the league. That must have been around 1999 if I remember correctly. He was the prototypical wigger and prototypical "afflete" basketball player. Williams was all flash on the court and preferred to look good on the court rather than win. The DWF's took a liking to him because he was "cool" and "hip."

Some good early results from some of our less heralded guys:

Miami Ohio sophomore Andrew Cruse has 6 catches for 101 yards and a TD at half time. His season totals coming in to today were 12 for 107 and no TDs so a great effort that he can hopefully build on.

In the same game CMU's Cody Wilson is the main man offensively with 5 catches for 65 yards.

Pitt sophomore Mike Shanahan has 3 catches for 57 yards and his 1st career TD at the half

UGA's Kris Durham has 2 for 59 and TD early in the 1st half!!

Andrew Cruse had a monster day. He finished up with 8 catches for 180 with 2 TDs. His second touchdown, a 71 yard strike, was the game winning score.

Idaho's Eric Greenwood had 4 catches for 103 yards and 1 touchdown.

Dane Sanzenbacher has a nice game yesterday with 6 receptions for 94 yards. He's projected as a 7th round pick right now but his stock has been on the rise so far this season. Hopefully he can continue to have great games and push himself into the middle rounds.

Scout Clown #1 (Pete Fiutak), who is no friend of white football players, writes this inadvertent recognition of the Caste System regarding T.J. Moe.

Hmmmmm, how to describe Missouri WR T.J. Moe, the nation's fifth-leading receiver who has caught 50 passes for 589 yards and three touchdowns. He's a bright player in a Steve Largent sort of way, and he's tough, with sort of an Ed McCaffrey thing going for him, and he has nice hands with a Golden Richards, Dwight Clark, Tom Waddle, Wayne Chrebet, Edgar Winter vibe that I can't quite put my finger on. Or I can just do what every announcer an scout does when they try to find an NFL comparison for a Caucasian wide receiver and suggest that he's a "Wes Welker type."Â￾

Moe is a big, physical, athletic 6-0, 200-pound target, while Welker is a smallish, quick, 5-9, 180-pound jitterbug. Having read a bazillion old scouting notebooks over the years, and with every African-American quarterback wrongly compared to Warren Moon or Doug Williams, or if they were mobile, Randall Cunningham, it's almost as grating (but not hardly as dangerous) to hear when a white receiver or running back automatically gets lumped into a category because of his skin color.

I think it was after his fifth catch of the game the female announcer who i wouldnt be surpised if shes actualy a he said that the other 2 boise state recievers are nfl prospects so there getting all the coverage on them. No mention of his great catches or his speed when he got a touchdown. This was only the second time ive seen shoemaker play but he looks like a very good WR to me.

Jeff Maehl of Oregon is having a huge game against USC on the road. He has two tds already and one of them was unbelievable. This kid is one of the best receivers in the country. He has hands like Wes Welker and this kid can flat out fly. Next stop NFL.

@White Lightning: Thanks for posting the Jeff Maehl video.....didn't really know about this kid. Too bad Oregon has an affrolete at QB.....otherwise they would be pretty watchable. This kid reminds me of Jordan Shipley.
