Good job JC of socuting out some of the smaller school guys. I saw Tysson Poots mentioned on Draftdaddy as the number one FCS returning wideout, but didn't think him white b\c of the way his name is spelled. Shame on me for not further investigating.

Nice work Jimmy C...you beat me to it..was gonna post on Poots & Soy(gotta love the names)...those two WR's are big-time WR's on any level...and should get a legit sniff in the NFL! And nice finds on the sprinters too!!

Szczur is projected as a 5th round pick by one pre-draft publication. Looking forward to seeing a healthy Kris Durham return to action!

Colin Sandeman for Iowa has three catches so far, and his catches have come scattered throughout the game, which indicates he's been in on alot of plays, hopefully. Would be great to see him as an official starter.

Good to see Kris Durham back in the line-up for Georgia after being injured last year. He's having a nice 1st half with 4 catches for 78 and a TD...including a 41 yard over the shoulder catch. He did drop a 25 yard catch that turned into INT from DB Lance Kelly ofUL-Lafayette.

Scotty McKnight for the Colorado Buffaloes just broke the all-time receiving record for Colorado with a very nice catch, his 168th, for a 30-yard TD...beating the afflete by about 15 yards.

Of course, Coach Hawkins said a couple of weeks ago that McKnight wouldn't even be part of the 2-deep team of receivers if he were a freshman now, after their last couple of affeletic recruiting classes. Let's see if any of their future, more affeletic WRs, break Scotty's record.

6'3" speedster Thomas Roberson has looked good for Tulsa today in limited action. He has burned his man three times (although he was mugged in the endzone and got a no-call). He's a true freshman. And in that offense, he could have a very big career.

Sadly out of all the players you just mentioned only Sanzenbacher and Salas are considered legit NFL prospects. Ryan Swopes is currently ranked as the 101st best receiver in the country.

2 White WRs led UGA in receiving yesterday...Durham (5 for 83 yards, 1 TD) & Logan Gray (2 for 26 & 1 TD).

Also, a rarity for UGA

...(White) Fred Munzenmaier gets carries at TB (+ FB) 7 carries & 1 TD (reception). Also (FB) Chapas scored a TD (rushing). 5 White players had TDs for the Dawgs.

Sadly, I must admit the White players (extra) PT was due to afrolete WRs Tavaris King & AJ Green (+ TB Ealey) not playing...due to TNB.

Keith Nichol (MSU) just made a Superman-type TD catch in traffic!!

That was a great catch -- but not too surprising, Keith has a 38-inch vertical! Also had the key block on another TD. His footwork still needs work coming over from QB, but as usual MSU's other receivers can't catch the ball, so he will eventually become Kirk Cousins' prime target like Blair White was last yeasr.

Central Michigan sophomore Cody Wilson had a phenomenal game last night in a losing effort to Temple. Cody had 7 catches for 153 yards. I could be mistaken but I don't think we have mentioned this young talent much (if at all). Here he is in action.

White WR sighting!! I was shocked to see #4 Jared Abbrederis make a
reception in the San Jose State game. He's a former high school
quarterback that is now making the transition to wideout in college.
He's a long lean receiver at 6'2 185. The RS Freshman could have a
bright future in Madison!

UGA's Kris Durham led the Dawgs (again) in receiving (3 receptions for 76 yards, w/ a long catch of 55 yards)...in their loss to (fellow afrolete filled) South Carolina.

Yessiree! Kris led the Dawgs (for the 3rd game) in receiving with 5 catches for 101 yards (including a 46 yard catch). He's got 1 more game before (overhyped) "afflete" AJ Green gets back from suspension...so I hope he has another big game against the MSU Bulldogs (& cements his starting slot).

David Douglas of the U of A Wildcats might be a sleeper to keep an eye on. He had 78 yards receiving last week. The Cats run a spread offense so I'm not sure how much he will get the ball. Great job though and it's a good way to keep track of our favorite players.
