I don't have the NFL Network so I didn't get to see the San Diego game. Instead of following the game online, I simply went to sleep.

So, when I woke up this morning and saw that San Diego had trounced San Fran, I was taken back. Rivers' threw 3 TDs and I think no picks.

I didn't expect a blow-out, though. With this humiliating loss, Singletary's days appear to be numbered.

It looks like Matt Cassel is going to be ready for his game against St. Louis, so the NFL Worst might just get EVEN WORSE...

Of course, you can't count out the 49ers, they are still in contention in the NFC west, even after last nights loss.

Grossman gets the start in DC. I hope he does well because all the DWF's can't wait to pounce if he's anything less than Joe Montana!

And John Beck has been promoted to second string QB. McNabb is now the Blackskins' third quarterback and will be released after the season as he has a $10 million bonus due in March otherwise. With all the trouble with Albert "The $100 Million Crybaby" Haynesworth and the Blackskins being a bad team again, will be interesting to see what direction Shanahan goes in the offseason as far as the team's demographics go.

Gotta love McNabb's agent whining about the demotion, as if a black player who "handles himself with class" therefore can never be benched no matter how poorly he's playing:

The player rep for Donovan McNabb lashed out at the Redskins Friday, calling the decision to bench the veteran "beyond disrespectful." "Disrespectful is probably not strong enough of a word," the agent said. "Donovan has handled himself with nothing but class, not just in Washington but as an ambassador for the league."

I was very surprised how complimentary Matt Millen

and Joe Theisman

were toward Alex Smith last night. He was called "athletic" several times and both veteran Caste clowns pointed out that the 49ers bad record was a team effort, not just Smith's fault. It was almostasifthey were off the Caste kool-aid for a night.

McNabb gets benched for the rest of the season. Yet just the other week the Redskins gave the 33 year old a new long term contract reportedly around $88 million. These owners have more money than sense.

Naw, the contract wasn't such a bad deal for the Skins. This is pretty much all that they will be on the hook for:

"¢ 2010: $3.5 million signing bonus/$250,000 if active eight games
If they keep him, then he gets a big roster bonus, but since they will doubtless cut him before March, it's a small-value (relatively) contract outlay.

McNabb's been grossly overrated since day 1. I'm no (NeoCON) "Hush Limblah" fan, but he was right on the money regarding McNabb.

That's a great point, Don. It's equivalent to calling a black athlete "articulate." You never hear a white athlete described as "articulate" and/or "a class act" simply because white athletes are "supposed" to be these things (and are these two things the majority of the time). The MSM, DWFs, agents, etc act like any black athlete that has these two attributes can't be benched nor demoted. If they are, their coach bea ray-cess!

McNabb might be benched in Washington for the time being, but he is still a good enough QB to get playing time somewhere for a few more years. It's to be seen if he comes out of this slump.

Dierdork called out Considine for not making a tackle once Brown was already 12 yards downfield. The self hate for his race never ends. Considine did end up making the tackle tracking Brown down. The very next play a JAguars CB blows the coverage and all Dierdorf has to say is that it was a blown coverage.

*Lol wow again he calls out Considine! THe Cornerback blew the coverage you f**kin idot!!!

Back to the wacky formations for Cleveland. It seems they only like to do that with McCoy. Although that wide split is actually so common that it has its own playbook and name, despite what the announcer claims.
If McCoy is successful early, I think the middle will open up for Peyton. But you can never tell about afflete defenders. They will frequently abandon their defensive assignments in order to "stop the white boy".

The Rams start 6 whites again today on defense, Gibson, Long, 3 LBs, and Dahl, I believe, but the announcers haven't shown their starting D yet.

I never thought McNabb was a terrible human being or an arrogant-but-undertalented blowhard like Michael Vick or Vince Young, but I do think it's true he is severely overrated.

Just because he's a decent, non-threatening Negro who smiles for racist Whites who pat themselves on the back about how progressive they are but still live in White neighborhoods, doesn't mean he's an elite quarterback.

He is (or was) a decent game manager but the fact that he's mentioned among the top tier of QBs is absolutely, positively, SOLELY because he is Black, and those in the media who try to say differently are just deluding themselves.

Danny Amendola with a nice Punt return!!

Yeah I never thought McNabb was ever a bad guy or arrogant, like Giovani said, but he is overrated.

I never had an issue with McNabb until he pulled the race card a few years ago. That's why I don't like him.

wow, Kyle Williams is having a monster year. Kevin Curtis seems pretty involved in Dolphins game plan.
