Starting '10 out with a bit of good news, the Seahawks are quickly parting ways with fat-axe LenDull non-White. They signed him a mere 5 weeks ago. Its not like this is going to help Owen Schmitt or any other White player out, but I'm glad at least one black back is gone. Hopefully he won't get picked up by anyone else.

Seahawks release recently acquired LenDale White

Renton,
WA (Sports Network) - The Seattle Seahawks released LenDale White on
Friday, less than five weeks after trading for the running back
during the draft.

"It became apparent at this time that LenDale was not ready to be a
member of
the Seattle Seahawks," team general manager John Schneider said
in a
statement. "It just did not appear to be the right fit at this point
in our
program. We wish LenDale all the best with his future."

White played for new Seahawks coach Pete Carroll at Southern
California and
spent four seasons with the Tennessee Titans. The 2006 second-round
draft pick
had a breakout 2007 season with 1,110 rushing yards, then ran for
773 yards
and scored 15 touchdowns in 2008.

However, he managed only 222 yards and two scores last year playing
behind
emerging star Chris Johnson.

The Titans parted ways with White and defensive tackle Kevin
Vickerson in a
trade with the Seahawks on the final day of the draft, allowing them
to move
up in the fourth and six rounds.

Another example of a lazy black athlete who gets chance after chance after chance. LenDale was "not ready to be a member of the Seattle Seahawks" because he probably is 30 pounds overweight and in terrible condition. Truth be told, if he had been white, he would never have had the opportunities that he's had. He's not fast, "loose hips" notwithstanding, he doesn't have much "wiggle", and, like stated above, he's lazy and doesn't care. A white back of his size would have been relegated to the dreaded FB position starting in high school and wouldhave beenlucky to latch on to an NAIA school, let alone USC and being a high draft choice in the NFL.

Good post FootballDad. Another afflete I can think of that was allowed to hang around the league for years despite being overweight and putting up poor numbers is Ron Dayne. This obese excuse for a football player was 270lbs coming out of high school but was promised he would be a running back at Wisconsin. He lost 20lbs and played at 250lbs but that is still way too much weight for a 5'10 guy. He was drafted 11th overall and only averaged a poor 3.8 ypc for his career. Despite doing almost nothing he was given chance after chance to prove himself.

The Seahawks supposedly knew about White's 4 game drug suspension when they traded for him a during the draft. The reason he was cut was exclusively due to his sluggish performance (and childish attitude, most likely) during team activities.

The reprehensible casteboy, Pete Carroll, is finally showing some backbone. White is yet another humiliatingly slothful, obese black "athlete"Â￾ who shouldn't have been given an initial chance, let alone 3 or 4. We haven't seen the last of him, I'm sure.Edited by: Thrashen

Owen Schmitt is the type of RB if given 20-25 carries in a game is gonna get at/near the 100 yards...shocking most dwf's...dude can runat 250+ dude is a little whacky too; very intense

Maybe ole Petey is having flashbacks of Gerhart's performance back in November running thru his defense like a wet paper-pag...maybe he's thinking they should not have released Roehl who signed with the Vikes...let the dominos fall where they may...Edited by: TwentyTwo

Golden Tate is about to get millions of dollars in bonus money and pulls off this. Notice how it's treated as a big joke and Tate escaped with a "warning." Good thing it wasn't Ben Roethlisberger or any other White player.

Rookie WR Golden Tate was caught trespassing inside a Top Pot donut shop in Bellevue, Washington at 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning, according to TMZ.com. Profootballtalk.com confirms the report. Tate and a friend apparently got the munchies after hitting the bar scene. The only problem was that the donut shop was closed while they were scarfing down breakfast. Tate managed to escape arrest, receiving a "trespass warning" instead. While he should also avoid league discipline, he won't be so fortunate when it comes to rookie hazing at training camp.

Some positive news for a change. From Rotoworld:

Owen Schmitt is looking forward to claiming the starting fullback job
for the Seahawks.
<div ="s_pNewsTextMain"> He has started
just two games in his first two seasons in the NFL, but with Ryan
Powdrell figuring to be his chief competition, Schmitt stands a good
chance to claim that starting spot.

Hmmm...they git the munchies after leaving the bar "scene"? Well usually getting the munchies is a result of drinking alcohol. So were Tate or his accomplice "alright" to be operating a motor vehicle? Not a mention of this at all during the article. Lord knows if this was any of us the police officer who came to the doughnut shop would have us performing sobriety tests and then a blow into the dreaded Breathalyzer. However, I'm sure Tate promised the office on scene an autographed jersey and Seahawks tix. Man it must be nice to be a pro athlete.

WR Sean Morey has decided to call it a career. He played the role of WSTD but played it well and was one of the best special teams players of the last 5-6 years.

According to the Seahawks he has "lingering hip issues", an injury of some sort. According to this story, the Seahawks may re-sign him after he clears waivers and place him on IR.

if it weren't for the Caste System, iwould beconfused why any team would try to force Konz into his racially-appropriate position. i mean, a 6-3, 230-pound athlete with 4.3 speed and a 40-plus inch vertical leap whostruggles withblocking seems like a lock to be tried at wide receiver, doesn't he? the DWFs claim that the NFL covets speed and raw upside ... well, Konz is loaded with both. yet he is forced into a position that would force him to lose his speed by artificially bloating his body.

how does this make sense in the minds of the drunken hoardes? how do they justify moves like this in their own heads? or dothe idiot sheeple never wonder about moves like this when it involves a White player who is obviously not really talented no matter how phenomenal his attributes?

Ole Petey "It's not my fault" Carroll wanted to make Gerhart a fullback or linebacker...you'd think just maybe he learned a lesson by now...

Wondering why he got released so quickly...hopefully another team picks him up??

WOW, 2 more affletes, that were both trying to make the Seahawks, recently tore their Achilles tendons...

Day eight: Injuries and roster moves

By Liz Mathews

The Seahawks announced today that they have released guard Adrian Martinez and waived/injured fullback Ryan Powdrell.

Replacing the two on the 80-man roster are tight end Nick Tow-Arnett and linebacker Alvin Bowen.

Bowen, originally drafted by the Buffalo Bills with the 147th pick of the 2008 NFL Draft, spent his first season on injured reserved with a serious knee condition. He was then added to the Washington Redskins' practice squad the following season and later activated that November, although he never played a regular season game.

With the announcement that Seahawks LB Anthony Heygood had been waived/injured on Thursday with a torn Achilles tendon, it is no surprise that the team added an additional linebacker to the roster.

In other injury news, former Garfield High School and Husky standout Isaiah Stanback, was carted off the practice field today. It was later reported that he too, had suffered a torn Achilles tendon and is expected to be waived/injured as well.

With the loss of Stanback, the Seahawks are now down to just nine wide receivers, the fewest the team has seen in the Carroll-Schneider era.

Yeah, Alvin replacing Anthony. I guess some teams haven't gotten the memo that White Linebackers' can lay down the gauntlet?

Niners trade first-round bust Balmer to Seahawks

Give the "kid"Â￾ another chance! He had 76 total tackles and 4.5 total sacks during his time at North Carolina"¦.what more do you want? That sort of production isn't worth the 29th overall pick?

Another millionaire bust that instantly abandoned the very Affirmative Action Corporation (49ers, Inc.) that made rich beyond belief. This league is getting their just deserts.

Seattle's final offensive line contingent may include up to six white players, as right now two of the expected starters, Unger and Hamilton, are white, and four of the five current top backups are white. This is a nice improvement for a team that has been very sumo heavy on O-line in the last few years.Edited by: referendum

The seahawks traded away their disappointng 1st round pick from 2008...DE Lawrence Jackson. Hopefully this helps Nick Reed's chances of making the team.

I get the impression that Reed has a solid chance to make the team. Also, Seahawks have a few other potential white defensive backups, such as Foley, Herring, Terril, Mccoy, Pitcock and Pawelek.Edited by: referendum

I don't think anyone ever came up with anything that showed Pitcock to be mixed.

Nick Reed is good enough to be starting over the very forgettable DEs Seattle has now. Is there a single White DE in the NFL who isn't a very good player?
