Rodney King seems like a proper screen name for anyone who considers a Heisman Trophy runner-up to be "unathletic."Â￾ Not even the infantile jock-sniffer-supreme media members would be so audacious.

I'm not quite sure what "facts"Â￾ you continue to reference"¦first you stated that Toby Gerhart DID NOT actually run the 40 at the combine yesterday (which, obviously, he did)"¦.then you just kept repeating that he's "as good player, just not as athletic as the other 1st round picks."Â￾ What's so "factual"Â￾ about your personal opinion concerning someone's athleticism?

God, sometimes I doubt if these trolls are actually real humans"¦experiencing real thoughts, emotions, and feelings.

Rodney, here is website that will no doubt suit your lemming-like, simpleton needs: www.espn.com. "They"Â￾ will do all that burdensome "thinking"Â￾ for you.Edited by: Thrashen

Trash talk is part of the game. If you can't control your thuggery, then you do not belong on the football field. Blount will most likely have other on-field issues if he can't take a little crap now and then. He'll have to adopt the nickname "future inmate".

Why did the negro have to resort to a cheap shot? Is that how they like to fight? What an act of pure coward. Again troll then why is Toby in the top performers for all categories?

Does anyone know what the story is with Cody Grimm? He had a good 40 time(4.54) but he's being listed as a linebacker. He's only about 200lbs so he would have a lot of bulking up to do. I don't see why he can't stay at safety.

I heard the announcers say he would be a safety who would plays in the box and be "a special teams contributor".

Oh, I see. He'll be training camp fodder and if he's "lucky" enough to make a team, he'll be a "special teams demon". Can't be taking away any of the bruva's positions, even if he outperforms them in college and in pro training camp.

He is projected as strong safety in the NFL. Ive mentioned him before, he is very underrated, played in a 4-4 scheme at Vtech, his duties were basically that of a SS. He was a walk on of course.

Here is a recent quote from Toby is which he (gasp) actually compares himself to black RBs, as opposed to the strictly mandated comparisons to Alstott, Csonka, Riggins, Leonhard, etc.

The caste-boys know full well that drawing athletic comparisons between the much-sanctified African American Afroletes with lowly whites is true sacrilege. No matter how asinine or unfounded the association (I've heard Matt Jones compared to Wes Welker), the script of the Caste System Dinner Theatre must be followed at all costs"¦.it's not as if anyone in DWF-nation, nor in the cultural marxist MSM, is bright enough to notice, or courageous enough to take them to task should they ever notice.

The Eddie George comparison is accurate, and maybe Corey Dillon during his absolute best season"¦.as Gerhart is vastly more athletic than Dillion, and much more powerful than George. Honestly, I could see Gerhart going in the 2nd round to the Cheifs. Jamal Charles is a tiny scat-back, so Gerhart could become their work horse ala Marion Barber-Felix Jones...

COLOR BLIND
Toby Gerhart still is answering questions about being a white running back. Gerhart said he was joking around with fellow Stanford baseball/football alum John Lynch, who received the same scrutiny as a white safety in the NFL.

"I've been compared with the other ‘white guys' that have played my position,"Â￾ Gerhart said. "I get compared to (John) Riggins, (Mike) Alstott and stuff like that. But I'm color blind. I'd compare my running styles to the likes of Eddie George or Corey Dillon."Â￾

I posted this earlier in the Gerhart thread, heres the video of him saying it
http://www.cbssports.com/video/player/play/nfl/iFRh_ITFuQ2XnKnGqxvXvQjG2INdiS_k?tag=coverlist_active;coverlist_footer

he definitely has some balls. Not just saying it on paper, he said it standing up to a mic. He won't be settling for "waterboy" like the other halfbacks that have come out in recent years.

exactly. Anyone who thinks Dixon is better than Gerhart is a joke. Dixon has less power and looks like he is running in mud when he plays. To claim Gerhart unathletic and thinking Dixon is athletic is ridiculous. I guess he thought the 290 pound Craig Ironhead Heyward was athletic too. He was Dixon's size coming into the league, but looking at some old Saints footage he looks close to 300 after a few years in, and there are ex Saints staff that said he was close to it too.Edited by: dwid

AJ Edds was really impressive today, I think he just might the best linebackers coming out. He is a converted tight end and had 5 picks this year, good in coverage. He looked very fluid in all of the drills, and ran a 4.67.

The only thing Weatherspoon has on him in straight line speed in the 40, which is not really needed for linebackers. Curry ran the fastest out of Laurenitis, Cushing, Matthews and had the least impressive season.

LB-Sean Lee could be a late 1st rounder and was the best football player at the bowl game...the Patriots or Steelers may need to seriously consider him

LB-Mike McLaughlin overcame injury..will land on a opening day roster

and as far as "OFFICIAL" 40 yard times go. Toby isn't listed as a top performer yet on nfl.com, but reading up, 6 different people verify it and it takes up to 2 weeks, so the times on nfl.com are not official, NONE of them, even the ones that say official.

Scott Wright owner draftcoutndown had this to say, (the guy who originally had toby ranked as a FB)

"For what it's worth I had Gerhart in the mid-4.5's on both runs.

Don't get too carried away by this "official" stuff. I timed the guy twice personally, as did a source of mine who was actually in the building. We came up with essentially the same times so that's good enough for me. I am putting Gerhart down with a 4.55."

So I dont think he time is any slower than 4.55, not the 4.6+ dwfs were claiming because nfl.com didn't have him up there. Edited by: dwid

Anyone can sucker punch a guy and knock him down. If the Boise State player had expected the punch I thinkBlount would have gotten beaten down like the negro on the bus. Thank God for EBM!
Good to see some of the linebackers impressing!

Hey backrow looks like it took a white man to ride him down after two missed tackles. Weird how that works..
