Yeah Big, I believe the Lord will make his move sometime tommorow. I hope I'm wrong, but I've watched enough of Tiger's "magic" miraculous bounces (saw another one yesterday,) lucky rolls and great lies. No matter where Woods hits the ball off of the tee, you can almost always guarantee that he'll have a great look at the green.

the tiger worship andcoverage isdisgraceful ("follow tiger, one through eighteen, no other golfer exists!")--worse than usual, but not surprising. the media has had time to recover from the "shock" over the last five months. Now they can play the tiger "redemption" scenario.

but there are a lot of good white and asian golfers out there. I hope they ignore the Tiger hype and quietly shoot their 65's. Keep your hopes up guys, and keep praying,--Woods can be beat. He did not win a major all of last year, and, God willing, he won't this year.

My own gut feeling, for what its worth,is thatWoods will finish in the hunt, but wind up losing byat least 4strokes. He will not be a part of a final twosome.

Why is Woods given such preferential press, even when compared to all the other obnoxious and undeserving black sports figures? Remember, this is a guy who plays a game that many elderly people can master, yet is regularly referred to as the greatest athlete of all time. Of course, these same jock sniffers scoffed at and ridiculed all golfers prior to the entrance of the Chosen One, and refused to refer to them as athletes. So, the message from the jock sniffers is- Tiger Woods is the greatest athlete of all time, but no other golfer can even be called an athlete. Even the drunkest white fan ought to be able to see through that propaganda.

I

Good Point. I never heard anyone call Jack Nicklaus even one of the greatest athletes of all time.

Europe, Bigunreal - Woods' unprecedented media prominence and virtual "deification"constitute one of the mostcunning and effective anti-White ploys that the "system" has ever thrown up.

As You both correctly pointed out, prior to Woods' appearanceon the circuit, golfers were always prime figures of fun. The general media portrayed them as a pack of unfit slobs or wimps - hell, golf was a leisurely game or pastime, something in the vein of checkers, and it certainly wasn't a "sport". The term "athlete" would never be applied to a guy like Jack Nicklaus and a mainstream sports journalist would be ridiculed if he claimed that a mere golfer was the world's greatest sportsman. After all, golfwas a game played by Whites. Now, that is the key to Woods' iconic propaganda status...

Golf is a game / sport (take Your pick...) played worldwide by a high-proportion of predominantly White males, especially as they get older, and it'sunique "socially recreational" aspect means that even people who normally don't possess the remotest interest in any other sports will consequently take notice of golftournaments. Many businessmen and lawyers, for example, who may otherwise view sports as plebeian activities beneath their dignity, socialise "on the golf course" and thus golf becomes "their" sport by default. A diet of "black physical supremacy" (or, in Woods' case, "mongrel non-White", but why should the black-promoting media quibble...) can now also be fed to Whites who might otherwise have not been directly exposed to it, especially outside of North America.Sclerotic "conservative" golf-loving Whitegrandfathers canhappily point out the "greatest golfer in history", who happens to be black / non-White, on the wall-sized plasma TVto their propaganda-absorbing grandchildren, while their basketball-addicted sons wearing "Kobe" singlets fetch another six-pack from the fridge in the kitchen and fantasise about "Beyonce".

As with the Williams sisters in tennis, Woodsis "proving"that blacks, if given the "opportunities",can and will effortlesslydominate traditionally White sports. Then the usualundermining of Whites' historical achievements and current confidence can creep in- "if only blacks were allowed to compete in golf earlier, well, guys like Nicklaus wouldn't have had a chance...". The same template is applied to the hype and media expectation surrounding Lewis Hamilton in Formula 1.Edited by: Rebajlo

Nicklaus was ranked in the ESPN 100 Greatest Athletes of the 20th century. I think it was about 20th. But they clarified it with his accomplishments above his athleticism. When Palmer was in his prime his masculinity and athleticism was stressed . Overall the doughie golfer has been the image until Woods. It looks like Woods has lost his mojo, somebody want to get the key to the chastity belt Woods is wearing it's hindering his swing.....

Golf places a premium on hand-eye coordination, which is why blacks will never be a factor. It also requires intelligence (course management), patience, and a lot of walking for those who don't use carts: about 5 miles worth, and a lot of up and down hills on many courses.

The third round is looking very good so far. Woods is struggling (and cursing and dropping clubs), Mickelson is playing great, as is Westwood.

Back to back eagles for Phil on 13 and 14!!!

Come on Phil! It's so weird how he can look like a duffer and the best golfer ever in the same round. That's Phil for ya.

I listened to Westwood's coverage while doing yard work and heard the announcers giving Woods some static for blurting out obscenities after bogeying the tenth hole. Charlie something or other said he was disappointed because Eldrick was working on that proble. Said kids were watching and he should be more aware etc. He also said Eldrick should be penalized for his bad conduct on the course.

Congrats to Phil Mickelson! Amazing Eagles on 13 and 14, now he takes the lead with a tap in Birdie on 15.

His 3rd shot on 15 was almost his 3rd Eagle in a row.

Fred Couples has played great today as well.

I still cannot understand the masses of white people cheering Tiger's every move. The greatest race in human history and the one responsible for virtually all of civilization's great achievements has been reduced to a bunch of mindless drones ready to follow whatever script they are given.

In any event, Tiger is still in the hunt, so I will not be breathing a sigh of relief until it's all over tomorrow and hopefully either Phil, Couples, or Westwood has won it. Edited by: foobar75

I'll give golf fans credit for being more than mindless drones. One of the great things about golf is that the greats respect and honor the game and in turn they are honored and revered by fans. I don't think there is another event in the U.S. where white men like Arnie, Jack, Tom, Fred, Phil and others are genuinely beloved like they are at The Masters.

Westwood and Mickelson are the top 2 leaders at -12 and -11 respectively. Woods is tied with Choi at -8.

Even if Woods is long retired (20-30 years) his name ALWAYS be mentioned, and has become SYNONYMOUS with the game itself. The "perfect" golfer, as many would like to describe. I honestly never saw Nicklaus in his prime, though it would be unfair to put Woods above him. Nicklaus faced several GREAT rivals during his time, Woods NEVER had a rival.

Woods will ALWAYS be more famous, thanks in part to the mindless wave of media attention he's getting. Which is more than Nicklaus ever got during his prime. All we can hope now is to see Tiger LOSE as many majors as possible, and see if there are other dark secrets to dig from him. Edited by: j41181

Yes, as I kept watching the rest of the day, Phil and Fred got some of the loudest cheers of the day, especially Phil when he nearly got his 3rd eagle in a row. So, the fans do give proper respect to some of the other golfers, but it still bothers me that Tiger is being revered as if nothing has happened.

And I also agree that unlike the those who follow football and basketball, golf fans are definitely ahead of the game there, and my initial comments were a little too harsh, and probably best reserved for the true DWFs.

Tiger threw a fit today as usual. He cusses like a drunken sailer. I hope he loses. What a terrible role model for kids that play the sport.

Years of success have made this guy a spoiled BRAT!!!

Even the drunkest of DWF's need to realize he's a BAD example for children.

CBS is airing a one hour special honoring Tom Watsonand his history atTheMastersat 1:00 EST today. It's hosted by Jim Nantz, the U.S.'s premier sports broadcaster. Masters coverage begins after it.
For Tom Watson to follow up hisnear-win at The Open last year with what he is doing at the very long Augusta National courseis one of the greatest athletic achievements of all time. I was angered today by how little coverage his third round received by CBS, which generally does a superb job of covering the tournament, thanks in large part to the dictates that Augusta National demands. They didn't even show his walk up to the 18th green. Yeh, he did fall out of contention, but he deserved to have some of his round aired. One can only imagine how different it would have been if by some miracle of miracles a 60-year-old black golfer -- and one of the game's all-time greats no less -- had been playing as well as Watson is.

At this point, the 2010 Masters Championship could be won by any number of players. Even dark horses like Ricky Barnes, Hunter Mahan, or Ian Poulter (all 6 back). Choi has looked consistent, and will hopefully separate from his playing partner, TiGIRL, who has been bland, yet still certainly in the hunt. Y.E. Yang and Anthony Kim have been awesomely average (both 5 back)"¦therefore, the non-white golfers with the greatest possibility of finishing high are Woods and Choi.

With any luck, the true family man and sportsmen, Phil Mickelson, will win the title"¦followed by the best white golfers fighting to the end (Couples, Westwood, Barnes, Mahan, Poulter, etc). Edited by: Thrashen

I am keeping my fingers crossed for either a Mickelson or Westwood win. Hopefully they don't get intimidated with Cheetah a few strokes back. Good luck to both! Would prefer to see Phil win but I will take Lee Westwood too!Edited by: SeaJim

Woods just hit what he thought, and the announcers thought, was a horrible drive that was "way right" on the second hole. The ball landed perfectly in the fairway, and the announcers were stunned (you could hear that in their voices) as they noted, "not sure just how it landed there." Woods second shot went into a bunker, but the announcers quickly noted that his lie was great, and in the perfect spot, making it "even better than a long putt."

So, even when the Chosen One pays one of his infrequent visits to the sand trap, he ends up in the perfect position. Wow- Woods just duffed it and left it in the trap! This is starting out very well....

Woods is 7 shots back now. Given that he's never come from behind to win a major, he's just about toast.

And another miraculous shot from the Magic One, followed by two more birdies. He is right back in it. The announcers are VERY happy.

Anthony Kim is 5 under in the last 4 holes and is tied for the lead. His putter is on fire.
