2010-11 NFL Playoffs

GB 28, Pitt 25, 3:30 Pack inside the Pitt 10

Jordy is 9 for 140 yards! Come on GB

Thx Jaxvid!

Missed TD is huge.

How'd I know that they were going to end up only getting a FG. Comes down to the last drive...

Hey Aikman,

Nobody in the NFL could've caught that pass.

Matt Jones probably could have, but...

They're actually discussing whether Jordy dropped that last pass. Ridiculous, he did very well just to touch the ball with his fingertips. Talk about over-playing the so-called drops of Jordy and yet I believe he is the games leading reciever. Edited by: Kaptain

And I really dont want to root against Big Ben with all the BS hes been put through. Afflete fumble is best case scenario Edited by: Toby Hillis

Pittsburgh doesn't have anyone who can cover Jordy Nelson. and even though he's not pulled in the "drops" he's been credited with (and i admit he usually makes those catches), he's putting up good numbers. i'm also very happy to see that Rodgers keeps going back to him. Aaron knows Jordy has the best hands on the team, and it's good to see that trust hasn't disappeared because of a couple of incompletions.
<div></div>
<div>that being said, Green Bay's defense hasn't looked sharp against the pass, especially since Woodson got hurt. the Packers' offense has to keep scoring, because Big Ben is playing very well. and on what appears to be one leg, i might add.</div>
<div></div>
<div>one last thing ... it sure would be nice to see Kuhn get a few carries.</div>

Apparently whoever is assigned to Swain can't cover him as well, at least legally, but no one gave the memo to the refs that holding the receiver pretty much the entire route is against the rules, even if he is an unknown white receiver. He missed a key catch earlier, and the announcers gave him crap about having to get open on that kind of play, when in reality he was being held by the db, and it wasn't even that subtle. When they just showed Jennings big catch on replay, you could see Swain on the outside running a route, the db basically holding him the entire time.

Jordy just got crap for another "drop". That one was tough, almost impossible. They are making sure dwfs remember that Jordy Nelson made mistakes, when another guy misses the same type of catch they say "that one got away from him". There was actually a similar pass to one of the Steelers receivers earlier in the game I remember hearing "Ben just has to put that ball in an easier spot to catch" DWFs won't remember how tough those incomplete passes were, there heads will just be filled with nonsense spewed by Aikman

Leading by 6 with a minute and a half against Big Ben is not the best of situations.

Yeah Jordy Nelson is having a HUGE game...yet his "stats" are not being shown in 2nd half?? Why is that?? Or did I miss something? Yet Wallace, Jennings and QB's stats were just put up...

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Alright!!!!!!! Here we go with the contact BS because "Americas ('diverse') Team" lost.

for the Steelers, the "back-up" center has filled in for the "All-Pro" seamlessly ... i've not heard Raji's name since the starting lineups. not bad for an over-achiever who was supposed to be in over his head. it was a great game by Doug Legursky in the loss.

Jordy for MVP?

They're gonna give the MVP to Rodgers I bet, but you could def make a case for Jordy. We shall see.

YES!

Jennings would get it ahead of Jordy anyway.

I don't see them giving Jordy Nelson the MVP, but I'm thrilled at his overall performance tonight, 15.6 YPC! Congrats to the Packers! The Whitest team in the NFL is also the best team in the NFL!

Aikman whining about how a flag should be called, he eventually retracted it after seeing it in slow motion, but there is no question that dwfs will argue about it now.

GREEN BAY WON! Jordy Nelson was the leading receiver with 140 yards on 9 catches! 15.6 ypc and 1 td, 60 percent catch rate. On the other side Wallace had 16 targets, one more than Nelson, 9 catches and 89 yards, under 10 yards per catch. Jennings caught 4 passes out of 7 targets for 64 yards. They were able to win with only rushing 11 times for 50 yards. Would have been nice to see Kuhn get some carries but I guess can't get everything you want.

Good to see Green Bay come away with it. Despite the "drops" Jordy had himself a terrific game. But yeah, Rodgers most likely comes away with the MVP because the universe would probably collapse from the inside out if a white skill player received it.

I simply don't understand why anyone would think that anyone but Jordy Nelson would be the MVP of this game......his numbers are better than many WRs who have won the MVP...

The whitest team in the NFL beat the second blackest team. A great day for our athletes.

Jordy Nelson was 9 for 140 yards and one TD. An outstanding game. All things considered and the forces against White Athlets a very satisfying win from. CF point of view.
