James Laurinaitis is having a great season. Sad that he dropped in the draft and some said he wouldn't be able to transition to the NFL, he has had no problem with the transition, meanwhile Aaron Curry, the guy they said would be the most NFL ready has been having a hard time with the transition.

Aaron Curry was supposed to be the best linebacker to come out in decades, some even said the best prospect and the "safest" linebacker to pick, yet out of Curry, Cushing, Laurinaitis, and Matthews, Curry is having the least impressive season.

"Seahawks reduce rookie LB Aaron Curry's workload. The dynamic outside linebacker turned 23. He became the fourth overall draft choice. He got married and became a father. He's had so many life changes since April, he probably could use it.

Curry has just five tackles in his last two games despite playing almost every defensive down. He has just two sacks in 10 games, none since Oct. 11.

He admits playing on every down, defending the run, taking on bigger and far more experienced offensive tackles, dropping into pass coverage and being asked to blitz the quarterback have all been wearing him down."

boo hoo hoo, everything is wearing him down. Don't teams ever learn? This guy got a huge pay day, he sat out the first eight days of training camp, then signed for $34 million guaranteedâ€"the largest assured cash for a non-quarterback in NFL history.

Hopefully Laurinaitis will get the recognition he deserves.

It looks like Craig Dahl will get the start this week against Tennessee. That means the Rams will start four whites on defense, a current high for the NFL I believe. Lets hope they can shut down "he just wins" Young.

Rams starting SLB David Vobora left Sunday's loss to the Titans in the fourth quarter with a hyperextended knee and an ankle injury.

Vobora, who has been a revelation at outside linebacker of late, was injured while covering a kickoff in a 33-7 game for a 1-12 team. The severity of the injury is unknown.

Rams released a very physically gifted lineman, Richie Incognito for yelling at the coach. he will get picked up by someone, hopefully, this is the guy that run 4.8 at the combine at 320 lbs. has a name as one of the toughest and dirtiest players in the NFL.

Rams re-signed exclusive rights free agent SLB David Vobora to a one-year contract.

According to Pro Football Focus, Vobora missed just one tackle all last year on 401 snaps, was effective in coverage, and was quietly the Rams' best run defender from the linebacker position. St. Louis may bring in competition -- Na'il Diggs is on the radar -- but 2008 Mr. Irrelevant appears to be a keeper.

A lot of posters here at caste football have put the Rams recent decline to the loss of white players like Archuletta, Kevin Curtis and Dane Looker, but Bucky Brooks on nfl.com puts it down to the team drafting so many white failures and busts, such as Brioan Leonard, Dustin Fry, Adam Carriker. Carriker would be a Pro Bowler if he had been used at his best position of end.Hiscombination of brute strengthcombined withquickness would be lethal. Long has struggled some but is coming around. I'll be surprised if he isn't one of the better ends in the league this year. Leonard was screwed ala Jacob Hester. Fry I don't know much about, but for every white o-lineman who doesn't meet expectations, there are several black ones.

Chris Long can't be considered a bust. I'll admit he's underperformed but he's pretty good. Curtis was a very good number 3 receiver for the Rams and would have started on most teams in the NFL.

Don, I believe that Carriker is a bust, at least thus far. I hope to god he proves me wrong, makes multiple pro-bowls, and becomes incredibly productive.

His tackle totals during his rookie season (he started and got considerable PT) was negro-like....and he was on IR last year.1-2 tackles a game with no sacks may be superhuman for a 1st round black DT, but certainly not a white one.I realize he was a DE at Nebraska, but still, whites need to make the most of their precious few opportunities.
