2009 Green Bay Packers

Its so damned obvious that even uber DWF Limabaugh notices the caste system, sort of. I understand why beer sales are so important to the NFL, it literally requires alcohol to bear to watch any of the nonsense going on with anything remotely related to the NFL. Hard to believe that America's political fault lines are eminating from a pro sports league but they seem to be.

For some reason Green Bay appears to be on the verge of signing injury prone, long washed up 32 year old RB Ahman Green, who has gained over 300 yards in a season just once since 2004. Then again it could just be a figment of Green's imagination. From Rotoworld:

Free agent Ahman Green is reportedly telling the Packers' players that his signing with Green Bay is a done deal. Beat writer Greg Bedard says he "doesn't know enough" to report that Green will rejoin the Pack, but he's believed to already have received a playbook and was at Lambeau on Tuesday studying. The move makes too much sense for both sides to fall through, assuming Green passed his physical. Edited by: Don Wassall

Not to mention, this guy was a fumble machine even back during his "prime" days.

This is yet another one of the absurdities surrounding the caste system. Players who no longer belong near an NFL roster continue to get recycled time and again, as we just witnessed today when Joey Galloway, who was released by NE appears to have some interest from KC. Meanwhile, Mike Haas and Logan Payne are wasting away in Seattle's practice squad, while blacklisted Matt Jones cannot sign with any team.

Some of these over-the-hill has-beens are then characterized as being great "locker-room guys" and providing "solid leadership" on the field, while having that all-important "veteran presence" for younger players to look up to.

The enemy White GMs, Owners and Headcoaches within and DWFs on the outside. That is a lethal combo against us add in the long knives(Media), whites in the NFL is dire.

On a similar note, I thought I heard that Tim Carter was back in the league as well. I at least heard he had serious interest. Tim Carter was hurt ALL THREE of his first three years with the Giants and has questionable hands. I don't think he's ever even eclipsed 500 yards in a season and is probably over 30 by now.

Retreads like Rashied Davis, Rache Caldwell, Josh Davis (a slower, shorter, older Biletnikoff winner than Hass- who's yet to do anything of note in the NFL) all remain or rosters. Heck next midgets, Sedric Steptoe and Marques Hagans with their 4.65 40 times will be back in the league. Hagans wasn't even a WR in college, he was a QB. Oh yeah, I heard the Titan's were on the phone with David Boston to fix their joke of a WR corps- that'll be next! The NFL is a Pile of S***.

Ahmad Green is proof positive that guys like Leonard, Staley, Forsey, Hillis, Hester, Evans, Konrad, Alstott, etc could have been absolute studs against the "formidible" NFL defenses.

I watched his entire career, from Nebraska, Seattle, GB, and the Texans. He was a definately a hard runner, but also a fumble machine who was about as fast as Jerome Bettis and had the quickness of Leron McClain.

Correction: Tim Carter DEFINITELY IS back in the league after being unsigned last year. Carter is now with the St. Louis Rams. Second Correction: Carter has never even eclipsed 350 yards receivng in a season after dropping passes and getting hurt GALORE. Now in his 7th active season, he's at 1,090 yards receiving so far for an entire career. We'll have to call this league the Afrolete recycling center.

Good lord, next thing you know, teams will be calling Keyshawn Johnson to see if he's interested in coming back.

from rotoworld, bad news for Brett Swain:

McCarthy also revealed that fifth receiver Brett Swain needs year-ending knee surgery. Finley could also miss Week 9. The biggest beneficiary of his loss may be third wideout James Jones, who figures to play more and see increased targets on passing downs. He's worth owning in 12-team leagues

Damn.  We seem to have bad luck with white receivers this year.  Kevin Curtis is still out as well.

It's been the worst year I can remember for injuries for white receivers. A lot of knee problems this season. The bright side is, as others have noted, there are morewhite receiversthan there's been in many years and morekeep busting through the Caste System to star in college. I remember well the very dark yearsof the early to mid-'90s when there were only a few white WRs in the league.

I don't have the facts of how it happened but for the life of me if these guys are not putting out 100% for 11 seconds on a 10 second play someone needs to put a boot in their asses.

The Packers' o-line played extremely well against the woeful Browns yesterday. Aaron Rodgers wasn't sacked and they were opening huge holes for Ryan Grant all game. That'll shut up the media clowns who have been obsessed with Green Bay's o-line all season, hopefully for good. With the Bears looking weak it may come down to the Packers and Vikings fighting it out in the NFC North.

At the Packer Report one of the online reporters Keith Roedrink wrote up Havner in a generally positive manner but included the white stereotype "rumbling", so I let him know his stereotyping won't go unnoticed or unchallenged.

Received an email back, between his lines it reads in snifferesque language. But he had no refutation that for Havner's size he does not "rumble", but he tried to compare him to Driver (who in fact has lost a step on the top end). It must suck to be a gelded sniffer. I nominate that our awards for worst caste drunk white media personality the award be called the "Gelded Sniffer"

It was tragic that the Pack enabled one of the worst caste offenders, Raheem Morris to win a game with his collection of blackletes. Here, Josh Freeman, one of Morris' black quarterbacks, puts up pedestrian numbers of 14 of 31 for 205 yards, and the media are now gushing about him being the second coming of Doug Williams (who happens to be the scouting director of the Bucs, imagine that).

Hey, it gives us a reason to root for the Miami Dolphins next week, since they have been adding white players recently.

I thought winless team, rookie QB first start, gimme for the Pack.
Just when it looks like Rodgers might step out a little from under The Shadow, this happens.

Truth is, their defense needs to step it up if they can.

I know Aaron is working hard to improve his game.

Okay, part one of season break even. Could be worse. Regroup for the second half of the season.

To give up a 28 to 17 lead in the fourth quarter to this afrolete team, and to top if off with a pick-6 to end the scoring is really bad. If the Pack can't get fired up after reviewing this collapse on film and come out and kick butt the next few weeks, then nothing will do it.

I can't believe the Pack dropped to the "Tampa Gay Sucaqueerz" and their "afrolete" coach! I was hoping TB would go 0-16.
