Just some random thoughts:

Peyton Hillis really did run slap dap into reality - NFL reality.

The affletes are cool with defensive coordinator Mike "a lily-white team that doesn't beat anybody"Â￾ Nolan.

Yes, McDaniels was part of the record setting New England offense leading up to Super Bowl XLII , but he was outwitted badly in the game and darn near got Tom Brady killed because he was unable (or unwilling) to make some necessary adjustments in the game. He still has a lot to prove yet.

It's uproariously funny to hear various commentators praise McDaniels for showing tough love to Brandon Marshall and in the process winning the respect of his team. The stiff penalty of a suspension for a final pre-season game must have been excruciating. The brothers are probably still laughing over that one - I am.

I heard odious jock sniffer Mark Schlereth on NFL Live a few days ago, gushing over what a "good guy" Brandon Marshall is, and how much "fun" it is to watch him succeed. This "good guy" beats up his women on a regular basis, when he isn't getting into physical altercations with the cops. I don't think there is a non-professional athlete in his nation that Schlereth would call a "good guy" who EVER was even accused of beating up a woman or touching one of our precious law enforcement officers.

Just heard an even more impossible stat about Denver's defense- no one has scored on them in the fourth quarter all year, and no team has converted a third down against them in the second half this season. Makes the Fearsome Foursome, the Purple People Eaters the Doomsday Defense and the Steel Curtain look like girls' powderpuff teams. I sure hope they don't make it to the Super Bowl.

The Bronc-ho's just haven't played a team with enough skilled whites yet... Wait until they get into the second half of the season, eventually this magic show will come to an end. If not, I may change my opinion about them and their urchin coach. Thus far, I am sick to my stomach with the treatment he has given Hillis, especially after he made statements in pre-season about using Peyton's talents (for what, cleaning toilets, selling tickets, hawking team clothing? He sure isn't using him on the field!)

Black lineman Ryan Harris is probably out for the year, so that means Tyler Polumbus should start, for a fourth white starting O-lineman, similar to the ratio under Shanahan. Also, Spencer Larson came back in a big way against Cleveland with four special teams tackles. Still, Broncos are a gruesome spectacle for CFer's to watch.

Tony Scheffler caught two passes for 48 yards against the Raiders in Week 15.

Scheffler hauled in a 39-yard pass in heavy traffic to put the Broncos close to field goal position, but the clock ran out before they could run another play. One of the offense's most talented players continues to be underutilized by Josh McDaniels.

The Broncos were well on their way to futility by the time the season mercifully ended for them. It was a complete systemic collapse. The kind that usually seals the fate of a regime. If they ever do somehow manage to bounce back with Eminem, is there really a possibility for anything more than mediocrity? I highly doubt it with his attitude and stubbornness. Unless he manages to quickly mature beyond what seems to be his arrogant know it all teenager mentality, it seems more likely that they are headed for a long stay in perdition. It is amazing that there are still people who are behind the Eminem regime. Good lord, what does it take for some people to see the writing on the wall? This offensive "genius" didn't even make the best with what pieces he had left to use until he could slowly begin to build his own team in his own image. He jumped right in and seemingly did everything in his power to ensure that the worst would happen.

At least the higher ups in Seattle knew they made a mistake and jettisoned Jim Moron Jr. after one season. Eric Mangini likewise would have been one and done until the Browns rallied and went on a winning streak at the end of the season. Maybe Broncos owner Pat Bowlinhas too big of an ego toadmit his mistake and can Eminem because he was such a poor choice after the controversial move to fire Mike Shanahan.

I wonder, is it just the economy that is making "stadiums lose fans left and right"? Or, would certain fans be more than willing to go to a game if it had a different "product"?

Good point, I think that it is definitely at least a small contributing factor. It is no secret that the NFL is hurting fundamentally and also for recognizable marquee star power. It should be no surprise that after systematically waging a racial war against the majority population who have historically produced quality athletes, in favor of a small minority population who's talent based has been overrepresented and stretched as thin as possible that at some point the cracks would start to show. Sumo offensive lines are horrible right now in the NFL and coal black defenses are not much better. I think the economy is definitely the major sticking point for the DWF's, but combined with a product that is becoming harder for the talking heads to pass off as best of the best, probably doesn't help the situation either. I remember my years as an early fan and the league certainly had a different more positive feel even then when the racial war against white players was for all intensive purposes decades old and slowly starting to reach it's Zenith. When I look back at my Chicago Bear teams, I could always point out several players, many of whom White whom the fans really got behind. Now it almost seems like you have maybe your one or two fan favorites, a few supporting caste members who the fans are meh about and almost everyone else just kind of there. Either retreads or guys who aren't given much notice at all. Sometimes it seems like these players really aren't "Real" members of the team, just kind of like extras in a movie or something or somebody who has an occasional bit part.

The pool of qualified blacks peaked in baseball 35 years ago and has declined steadily since. That's likely when it peaked in football as well. The decline in baseball is commonly attributed to blacks "losing interest," but I've never bought that excuse because blacks are even more materialistic than whites and what better sport to have a long career in and make lots of money than baseball?

More blacks than ever grow up without fathers, and in environments that reward sloth and criminality.Black dysfunction is epidemic.The ghettos are not exactly breeding grounds for many great athletes anymore, if they ever were.

Good luck getting playing time on Eminem's team:

Broncos signed DL Justin Bannan to a five-year contract. Bannan, 31 next month, can play both nose and end in a 3-4 scheme like the Broncos'. He finished last season with 35 tackles off the bench after racking up 45 for Baltimore the previous year as injured NT Kelly Gregg's fill-in. In Denver, he'll likely be a member of a heavy rotation along the front three.

I'd say "member of a heavy rotation" sums up what he'll be doing in Denver. A whole lot of riding the bench, watching an endless parade of talentless sumos wheeze their way through three downs while he blocks on kickoff return.

Despitejust 247 carries last season Knowshon Moreno says his body "got kind of worn down." Pathetic for a rookie. Good running backs are supposed to be able to be workhorses for at least their first few years in the league. The lack of conditioning and stamina evident in so many black players -- who know they're going to be drafted high and richly rewarded anyway -- is the main cause of the ever more commonplace "running back by committee" in the NFL.

Another black receiver being rewarded for his glorious ineptitude: Beat writer Frank Schwab expects Jabar Gaffney to emerge as the Broncos No. 1 receiver unless they draft Dez Bryant in the first round. Somebody has to replace Brandon Marshall's production, and Gaffney is a favorite of coach Josh McDaniels due to his familiarity with the offense.
Let's see -- Gaffney has played 8 seasons in the NFL and last year was one off his career high with 54 catches and set a career best of 732 yards. He's had only one other season with as many as 500 yards and in a league filled with black receivers with terrible hand-eye coordination, Gaffney is one of the very worst. But he was drafted in the second round so maybe he's still in the process of developing all that talent that Eminem and the DWFs just know he has.

Widely acclaimed sumo manages to get a serious off the field injury. The Broncos should have 3 or maybe even 4 Whites on the line this season.

According to Footballoutsiders.com's injury database, no player in NFL history has missed less than six months with a torn patella tendon. Ryan Clady's tendon was only partially torn, so it's conceivable that he could still help the Broncos in 2010. Still, he's facing long odds on being ready for Week 1. Even if he does return early in the season, he's unlikely to play as effectively as normal until later in the year.
