2008 Seahawks

"Their secondary got schooled by Celek and Curtis time and again, so for me, that was actually the highlight of the game."

Yeah, it took a season and a half...but Brent Celek finally showed the caste-Philly fans what he can do. I remember watching him in 2007 pre-season games, he was unstoppable.

His fellow TE, LJ Smith, is injured every season, is undersized, and is less athletic than Celek. However, Andy Reid is incredibly loyal to his tenured black players....so I wouldnt expect Celek to supplant Smith until Smith is no longer with the Eagles.

Reid even cut the taller, younger, and much more athletic WR Mike Gasperson (twice) in favor of his miniature black scrub, Greg Lewis.Edited by: Thrashen

Reid is another strange story. From BYU and Lavell Edwards, you would think he'd be less of a Caste tool. I can't wait until he and Holmgren are gone.

Mike HAss signed a future contract with Seahawks, which is bad news because they have a plethora of sh*tty but black receivers and one good white receiver in Logan Payne. i can't see both WRs making a roster next season...

With the Walrus "retiring" from coaching the Seahawks, this could be a good thing. That of course depends on the new coach being fair which I would not bet any money on.

Mike Hass is apparently looking good in OTAs, but this article still has him (and Payne) on the roster bubble...

I saw this as well on KFFL.

Eric Williams, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports Seattle Seahawks WRs Logan Payne, Mike Haas and Michael Bumpus are on the bubble to make the team's final roster.

Seattle has some of the sorriest WRs in the league. I think Houshmenzadah is good wr but I think he is the exact same mold of WR as Mike Hass yet Hass never got a fair shot.

Deion Branch is always injured, Nate Burleson has not done much, Deon Butler is a rookie.Ben Obomanu, Billy McMullen, Jordan Kent, Courtney Taylor I know nothing about except they are given the benefit of the doubt because they are black. Give Hass and Payne to Hasselbeck as targets and his completion percentage will improve. Seattle WRs seem to have been notorious for dropped balls the past few years.

The treatment of Mike Hass has bothered me more than anything else related to the caste system.

It's been sickening and despicable.

I can't see two white receivers making the Seahawks (though ina fair league they'd both make it over oft-injured, over-rated turds like Burleson and Branch), so I'd much rather see Hass make it over Payne. Being from Oregon and attending Oregon State may work in his favor. This looks like his last, best chance of making an NFL roster.

rotoworld run a blurb on Hass yesterday stating that he probably won't make Seahawks, but his elite hands would make him ideal for a team like Kansas.

Seahawks are in danger of an all sumo line, but center Chris Spencer will be out for around a month, so a white center, either Unger or Vallos will start to begin the season.

__________

If he doesn't hook on and play with a team this year, it's time to go get a job. Hate to say it.

Tom Iron...

both Hass and Payne got cut. let's hope some receiver needy team will pick them up and give them a shot. Hass is the most screwed guy in recent memory, really, i mean Luke Staley was f**ked over but at least they had an excuse because of his injuries, whereas Mike stayed healthy and did great throughout preseason year in and year out...

I'm pretty bummed out that the 'Hawks bailed on Hass and S Russel too! Hass could have drawn some interest as a 'hometown' guy, but given that caste-master Mora is the new coach that just couldn't be allowed to happen.
