Yeah I saw it. It was funny to see Jacob's reaction. He was looking happy, but still humble, and looked kinda embarrassed by the reaction of his teammates. The first row was calm, and mostly made out of the likes of Hester, Flynn and other whites players.

I noticed that too. It seemed like the white players were mostly sitting with each other, kind of like the cafeteria in high school, lol.

I can see it now, Jacob Hester on the cover of Sports Illustrated with a big smile and a national championship trophy in hand. Could the country handle that?

The only thing though is that even if Hester did all that, is that what they would put on the cover? They could easily just show Miles with the trophy with a black player right next to him. But yes, if he did get the cover I would buy that. I didn't buy the last cover, because it was barely bigger than a postage stamp!

If OSU wins, then you can bet that Chris "Beanie" Wells will certainly get all the credit. Maybe LSU will stop the run, and OSU will have to turn to the passing game and Hartline and Sanzenbacher will get a good number of throws.

WhiteCB, it says a lot for the breaking down of the Caste System that Ohio State is not easily the team to clearly root for here. Believe me, I was fervently pulling for the Buckeyes back in 2001 in the National Championship game against Miami. I'm not saying that I'm not now. But, if the Superdome is thundering and Jacob Hester gets a good number of carries, goes over 100 yards, and has a chance for the MVP, I have to admit, I'll be pulling for LSU.

I think the country could handle that just like they did back when John Riggins was the Super Bowl MVP. However, look at that situation it did absolutely nothing to stop the RB position from becoming 100% black in the NFL. I think it would look better for Ohio St to dominate with their nearly all white offense(great games by Hartline/Ballard/Sazenbacher) and a good rushing effort by Hester. Than just almost all black LSU winning.

I hope we don't need to wait another 20 years before we see a white RB take center stage. This year has been a lot of fun for me to watch Hester. I've caught every single LSU game I could and enjoyed it greatly. The idea I'm going to root for an SEC team over a Big Ten team in the "'ship"

A white running back needs to be on a team with a white offensive line and white QB (preferably a star QB). These men would spend a lot of time together off the field talking strategy and game planning.


New England would be ideal for Hester. Maroney is not a New England type player, he'll implode sooner or later, once things don't go his way, just like he did in college at Minnesota. Maybe he'll last a year or two, and then Jacob will take over full time.


Belichick would love to have a white tailback, trust me. He's from my neck of the woods, near Annapolis, Maryland. He went to Annapolis High School, which back in his day was virtually all white.


Deep down, Coach B is one of us.

Stonewall, sorry if I don't share your unabashed trust of your fellow Marylander Belichick (born in Nashville), but I don't think there is anyone in the NFL we can trust, at least not yet. People have made similar statements about other coaches, college and pro, and they have let us down in some way. I won't say I trust a coach until AFTER they get a white TB and give him the chance to do all the things that we know they can. Evans and Eckel don't qualify as those backs, IMHO. I will gladly accept Belichick as one of us if he goes out and gets Hester or someone like him and then uses him as a TB.

Wow that was pretty honest. He basically thought out loud what most "pundits" think to themselves. Who is this writer? One thing though he still basically thinks in the box, which is still dreadfully par for the course.....

The excitement is building I'm really looking forward to this game! How sick would it be if any or all of these things happened? Hester rushes for 120 yds with a huge 55 yd TD, Stelz has huge game with an int return for a TD, Hartline gets 9 catches for 140 yds and outruns the LSU corner on a 60 yd TD, Laurinaitis has monster game with 13 tackles 2 sacks (one big one on Perrilloux that knocks him out of the game) and a forced fumble and recovery, and Sanzenbacher gets 4 catches one for a TD. There's a lot to look forward to in this game!

It's nice to see this typical self-mocking white get hammered on his own site. The Caste System propagandists and the plain old white jerks who love to rip on whites have been unchallenged for decades. Finally, that's changing. They need to be challenged and called on their racism whenever possible, even if it's just one person who cuts through the fog. It's one of the important ways we can raise consciousness and expose and eventually end the Caste System. Not to mention it's free of charge and fun.


We've got a couple hundred knowledgeable and articulate posters on Caste Football. Off to a friends house to watch the game with a bunch of people on 52 inches of crystal clear hi def DLP television (it's the mirrors, haha). Here's to a great game.
