    2008 NFL Draft Scorecard

Driver is getting up there in years. Not sure how the Pack feel about Jones but maybe they are envisioning the smallish Greg Jennings to play slot... I don't know, I just hope Jordy ends up being the starting flanker in the next couple years. It says a lot that he was the Packers' first pick...

How many Whites get picked in 2nd Round?

I think itsme got it right. Might even be one more if another OL like Pollack gets picked up.

    2008 NFL Draft Scorecard

Jay Glazer and other sources are saying that Chris Long is definitely gonna be the pick at #2 for STL. How bout that? The Long's going 1 and 2. Good start.

    Parcells to run the club

I saw that news and had to look it up because I figured Fasano was still under contract. It was part of a trade of (as yet undisclosed) MIA draft picks for Fasano and LB Akin Ayodele. Great news for Anthony though, he's a good football player.

Heated NFL caste arguments on Youtube!

Noticed this TJR: "Either way foreigners have proven good at finesse basketball where offensive fouls are called. Small Euro countries can beat the U.S, yet still there are no white Americans in the All Star game. Europeans are dominating boxing yet all the top Americans are white. Face it...

    David Pollack might be done....

According to draftdaddy.com, it looks like Pollack is retiring. That's what Marvin Lewis said at least.

Will Jordy crack the first round?

Gil Brandt of NFL.com has Jordy in his top 50 prospects and says he has a shot of moving into his "4th tier" of prospects (31-40). I don't think he can sneak into the first round but I see him going in the top half of the 2nd round.

Will Jordy crack the first round?

Jamie Duke of NFL network had positive words for Jordy tonight on Path to the Draft. He talked about Jordy's sprinter background and noted his game day speed and ability to get separation from cornerbacks.Edited by: jared

    UFC 83 prediction

Bisping looked a lot better at 185. I'm still baffled by the Starnes debacle though.

    Danny Woodhead

Danny's only hope is a team like the Colts or maybe the Pats. I'm not sure anybody else out there will even give him a shot. I just hope he doesn't waste his training camp time at some caste whore team that only intends to use him as a tackling dummy (see- Browns: Tre Smith, Redskins: Jesse...

Will Jordy crack the first round?

He dropped Kelly out of his top 5. Manningham is #4. Jordy has been showing up in the top half of the 2nd round in more mocks these days. He's stood tall while the other candidates have weeded themselves out with lackluster workouts or character and legal issues. He's one of the only reasons...

Will Jordy crack the first round?

Mike Mayock now has Jordy ranked as his #5 WR.

Chris Long in the NFL draft.

Good call on McGarigle, he got very little respect for being the collegiate monster that he was. Glad to see he's survived the initial purges. edited to add: He is the all time D1A career leader in tackles with 545. wow.Edited by: jared

    North Dakota's Weston Dressler

Your second post is spot on, hopefully it served to illuminate more than a few people.

Will Jordy crack the first round?

Dan Pompei mentions Jordy as a "late riser" according to NFL execs. Glad to see his stock is on the move. The prediction that he ends up being this draft's version of Eric Weddle is looking more and more likely. My question is why a big, fast, Biletnikoff finalist starts out with low draft...

    Emelianenko-Santos

Fresh news from Sherdog.com "Top ranked heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko (Pictures) will fight Tim Sylvia (Pictures) on July 19. The Russian mixed martial arts champion confirmed the bout to Sherdog.com on Tuesday." http://www.sherdog.com/news/news.asp?n_id=12220 Thoughts? I'd say Fedor...

    2007 Cardinals

I'm not sure if Boldin's time had anything to do with an injury at the time but regardless, he plays like a 4.6-ish WR. His quickness and hands are better than Fitzgerald though in my opinion. I like Boldin because he plays the game like it should be played. He doesn't shy away from contact like...

    2007 Cardinals

Honestly I wouldn't be very comfortable with Morey as anything more than the #4 WR. He really didn't impress when he was on the field last year, dropping a couple passes and getting caught from behind by a LB (albeit a VERY fast one). Urban on the other hand is a great athlete and I think he's...

    2007 Cardinals

The Cardinals have now have two white WR's locked up again for next season: Sean Morey and Jerheme Urban. They have also signed DE Travis LaBoy from the Titans and DE Bo Schobel will return for another year. In addition to the return of Monty Beisel in the linebacking corps, it looks like...
