2025 NFL Draft

Does anyone have any predictions or theories around the draft (besides the obvious)?

I think Seattle will get a little Whiter after being one of the blackest teams in the league for at least the past 15 seasons.

I think the Bills will have another disappointing draft.

Rooting for Dart to be a 1st round pick, Ewers to the Raiders in the 2nd. Shough, Kyle McCord and Will Howard all being day 2 picks. Despite the media narrative these is a lot of good QB talent in this draft. It's pretty deep.

Other QBs I predict to get drafted:
Riley Leonard
Max Brosmer
Kurtis Rourke
Brady Cook (sleeper QB for me the year)
Seth Henigan
Cam Miller

Zabel was a dominant left tackle at NDSU, initially gets slotted to OG during the draft process and is now the best center in the draft. This is racial slotting pure and simple. This is why there are no more White offensive tackles. Graham Barton could easily be a top 10 LT in the NFL but got the same racially appropriate position change last year.

This is an annual occurrence at this point. Peter Skoronski, a 3 time all American LT in the Big 10, didn't even get an attempt to play LT. The Titans instead fielded Dan Moore at the most important position on the line last season, a journeyman 4th round pick who has accomplished nothing but has 34 inch arms. I will admit that Zabel would be an outlier with only 32" arms, but I'm not convinced it really matters at all. Length can be an asset but I have a hard time believing these guys would hold up in major CFB if it was an actual requirement.

I've seen a few people bring up Joe Thuney's struggles at LT with his 32 1/4" arms in the Super Bowl as "proof" that Will Campbell's arms (32 5/8") are indeed too short to play the position. The rationale being that even this elite Guard, one of the best overall lineman in the league, can't hold his own on the outside. Never mind the fact that Thuney was moved there because the previous LT, who probably has unfathomably long arms, was so bad they felt better about a career Guard filling the spot. Not to mention the Chief's RT, who committed uncalled false starts all season, was also a revolving door in the game and throughout most of the season. In all reality, Thuney was a major upgrade at LT throughout the playoffs, but it's easy to point to that instead of the dozens of failed black tackles pumped into the league every year.

I’ve looked over a couple more mock drafts and big boards - the count of White athletes is anywhere between 45-52. The only thing that is surprising to me is that no one in the mainstream media notices such an obvious and blatant pattern. It’s exactly the same thing every year.

A few notes on racial makeup of players - Mason Taylor - not white, Landon Jackson -
Not White, Ashton Gilette not White.

I haven't seen or read anywhere else but on CF where the ridiculous annual numbers have been called out, by me in particular. I used to like to guess the number of people at baseball, football and hockey games I attended and became good at it.

It just shows how gullible and dumbed down most Americans still are. If Rabbi Rich Eisen and friends keep repeating the made up number, it must be true. From the article above: "Green Bay has roughly 5,000 hotel rooms, with half being reserved for NFL personnel and vendors. Roughly 1,000 homes have been rented in Brown County."

Some Green Bay residents will attend, though parking will be a problem. That leaves about 225,000 more supposed attendees to. . . do what -- set up tent cities? Figure on one-tenth the bs quarter million projection being there at most.

So very well written Don! Backed with FACTS! The List of Bust is undeniable even for dwf's! The double standard is beyond old.... Thanks for sharing.

......If the NFL is truly a "Copy Cat" League there should be an "Uptick" of White DBs selected in the 2025 Draft!
....The Super Bowl Eagles are the ONLY team to "Start TWO White DBs".
.... 5 Starting White DBs in the SEC ( 4 Former Walk-on's) ; that's the Most i have seen since following the SEC as a little kid.
Since 2000 there have NOT been more than 4 White DBs selected. Last year there were 2. But too many years recently there were ZERO!

Never heard of this guy (touted on the ESPN scroll) ; but had some time to check the 7 Round Mock Draft for curiosity's sake
More of the Status Quo your article talks about....4 White WRs & only 2 White DBs (7th Round) according to this guy....where is Hunter Wohler(Wisconsin)? or hybrid Justin Barron (Syracuse)?

3rd Round
#90 WR Jack Bech (TCU) L.A. RAMS

4th Round
#119 RB Cam Skattebo (Arizona St) BENGALS
#138 WR Isaac TeSlaa (Arkansas) 49ERS ...joining Pearsall & Kittle??

5th Round
#145 WR Xavier Restrepo (Miami) NY JETS

7th Round
#223 DB Dan Jackson (Georgia) SEAHAWKS (former Walk on)
# 251 WR Efton Chism (Eastern Washington) KC Chiefs
Mr Irrelevant @ 257....DB Maxen Hook (Toledo) KC Chiefs

1st Round TEs Tyler Warren joining WR Alec Pierce COLTS + TE Colston Loveland to the L.A. Chargers w WR Ladd McConkey

Sebastian Castro DB Iowa...not sure where he stands on Caste Meter? (Latino)
Someone like Mason Taylor (75% white put in 3rd category w Poly's for me)

I think you and LF are quite right.

Can anyone honestly say that anyone other than the most hardcore of hardcore fans from each team’s fanbase would attend? Pulling from thin air, I would guess that is 300-500 people per team (maybe less?). I’ll be generous and use 500. Then I’ll double it for any teams “nearby”. Let’s say 4 (Minnesota, Chicago, Detroit and Indianapolis). Green Bay I’ll leave out for now. That’s 17,500 people. Now let’s just go wild and say half of Green Bay attends because they are diehards and there isn’t much else to do. That puts us at 70,000 people. A far cry from 225,000 and that’s with my generous assumptions. With inflation on airfare still high and a general feeling that the economy isn’t great, who could justify flying there and then spending a fortune to rent someone’s home, basement or Winnebago? All this NFL Draft hype is retarded.

All the "experts" read from the same script. In the 7 round mock drafts I went through the numbers all hovered right around the same mark. And that mark never really deviates year after year.

I've seen no one give Hudson Clark, Will Brooks, Jack Henderson, Quinn Schulte, Henry Blackburn, James Howell etc. any mention or recognition in any of the mock drafts or rankings.

Every time we have a deep WR class or Safety class they get buried! Much easier to keep drafting affletes from the SEC.

"Universally beloved" and "you will not find a coach or general manager who doesn't just rave about both young men." Sums up the state of mind of NFL caste clowns quite well. They're not just interested in players they might draft, they actually love them. I recall about 20 years ago we posted about a college assistant coach (might have been at Penn State) who every single day handwrote notes to (black) prospects he wanted to recruit, love letters basically. NFL coaches and scouts seem warped like Austin Metcalf's father.

ESPN’s Peter Schrager reports that Ohio State WR Emeka Egbuka and Georgia LB Jalon Walker are “universally beloved” by NFL coaches and general managers. The two players have reportedly “won the interview process” with their character and talent. Schrager adds that “you will not find a coach or general manager who doesn’t just rave about both young men.” Egbuka was a three-year starter at Ohio State and averaged 2.61 yards per route run over the course of his college career. Walker played a multifaceted role in Georgia’s defense, lining up as an edge rusher and inside linebacker. He led his team with 28 quarterback pressures and a 17.2 percent pass-rush win rate this year.

Jalon Walker's teammate was Chazz Chambliss who seemed to play more of a rotational pass rusher on defense. He's 5 lbs heavier than Walker and also put up 6.5 sacks this past season. Walker had 10.5 TFL to Chambliss' 9.5. If I recall he was injured in 2023. Chambliss is being predictably and ignored and treat as an afterthought (it does seem like the Lions are intrigued by him). The only thing that separates these two players is skin color for one to be touted as a "universally loved" prospect while the other who played on the same team with similar production is being ignored. Not much separation between the two prospects and I'd argue Chambliss would be a great value pick if given the same playing time and opportunity in the NFL.

Walker did not participate in any combine drills nor pro day. Chambliss cranked out 30 BP reps, 32" vert, 10' broad jump, 4.39 short shuttle and 3 cone of 7.05.
