Lan Larison has had a strong preseason at tailback for the Pats, but it still looks like it isn’t enough … the “experts” are expecting him to be cut in favor of Hassan Haskins who hasn’t done ANYTHING in the League despite being an all-American while at Michigan. while Haskins hasn’t run a 40 time, he has run afoul of the law, so he clearly has “dat upside” the coaches covet.
meanwhile, Larison has flashed big play ability in both the running and passing game (4.57 in the 40) in limited opportunities but wasn’t drafted despite being a 2x first-team all-American in the FCS. he doesn’t have a criminal record, so he’s clearly not got any upside to develop …
