There's a Rooney Rule for coaches, it's not a big stretch to think there's one for QBs too.

It is crazy the extreme measures they go through (combing through 2 million social media posts a day) to try to uphold the veneer that they are wonderful people who are eternal victims. And even with these massive efforts, they are failing because their true nature cannot be hidden. If anything these obvious propaganda campaigns and attempts at censorship just increase The Noticing. A self fulfilling prophecy that lacks any self awareness or reflection of their actions.

Well through four days of Patriots training camp and none of our undrafted hopefuls have done that much to separate themselves from the pack. Larrison had a fumble on kick off and at fault for an INT yesterday. Him and Chism almost exclusively with second and third team offense but Chism did see snaps with Maye yesterday late on. Lampe looks like the most nailed on as only fullback on the roster. Dippre yet to have a catch in four days camp.

On the plus side Will Campbell as advertised according to beat reporters not missing a snap at left tackle in top offense. Bradbury and Strange are the first up and look like the starters at centre and left guard. With Hooper out injured its Jack Westover 2nd year tight end out of Wasington Huskies as the no 2 tight end behind Hunter Henry. Spillane is the leader of the linebackers and looks as advertised the key man in the defence. Givens looks like he is third up at ILB so should make the roster.

Lampe placed on injured reserve replaced by a black undrafted linebacker from rookie camp who probably won't make the team. Would of thought it either means Westover or Dippre both tight ends or Larrison (fingers all crossed its him) make it on to the roster now so shouldn't affect white numbers

An update on the other standout UDFA:
As we can see, it is a numbers game. I am a bit nervous that some of these mediocre talents ahead of Efton will be kept for "reasons" but at least he's making plays and hopefully does so in the preseason games as well. Worst case, I see him as a practice squad lock, or maybe a guy that another team would sign if the Pats try to sneak him through.

Patriots Sign LS Niko Lalos

Lalos was actually a promising defensive end a few years back out of Dartmouth. He of course was not given a fair shot and now looks to be a long snapper. Can't make this **** up.

I remember every time he got a chance with the Giants and Saints, mostly in preseason, he performed. Was a real sack artist. Another victim of the CS.

Lan Larison has had a strong preseason at tailback for the Pats, but it still looks like it isn’t enough … the “experts” are expecting him to be cut in favor of Hassan Haskins who hasn’t done ANYTHING in the League despite being an all-American while at Michigan. while Haskins hasn’t run a 40 time, he has run afoul of the law, so he clearly has “dat upside” the coaches covet.
meanwhile, Larison has flashed big play ability in both the running and passing game (4.57 in the 40) in limited opportunities but wasn’t drafted despite being a 2x first-team all-American in the FCS. he doesn’t have a criminal record, so he’s clearly not got any upside to develop …
