Valid point. I've just become jaded to the NFL. We have seen too many White athletes get screwed over in free agency. Can only hope for the best.
 
Audric Estime Saints RB-17 carries 38 yards. 2.2 ypc. Estime ran a 4.72 at the NFL Combine. A white RB would've been regulated to FB or worse. Not drafted. Estime taken in the 147th in the 5th round.
 
Giants look to be putting the coal cowboys away. Milton threw an INT.

Giants could be a promising team depending on who they hire, who they sign in free agency and their draft. Will always root for Dart and Skat.

Raiders will have the 1st overall pick. Mendoza to Bowers and Bech will be great if it happens!
 
I agree, Don. Jones is not the best QB for Pierce. You wouldn't think Leonard would be either but he at least recognized who to throw to. At the time they picked up Rivers and started him I was disappointed they didn't give Leonard the chance. So many of our guys that are super athletic at QB are automatically deemed not to be able to throw ala Tim Tebow while black athletic QBs are rushed to the starting position. Looking at Rivers puffed up physique and the fact he hadn't played in years should have clued them in. In the shape and age Rivers was he did very well but he was definetly limited.
 
Lowly Bengals lose to the pathetic Browns. Sanders ends his rookie year as the last impressive rookie to start a game but will probably be gifted the starting job.
 
Too bad Taysom Hill had to leave the game with a possible injury as this may be his last game. 3 runs for 32 yards. Would have been nice if they would have let him play a full game at QB - the position he should have been playing his whole career.
 
That Alec Pierce flag/ejection was one of the worst calls I have ever witnessed. That Black ref didn't like being challenged by an uppity White kid who was beating that Black secondary like rented mules......
 
Trevor Lawrence 3 TD's passes in the Jags win today. Is he and Andrew Winegard the only white players on the Jags? Other than the punter and kicker.
May have an OL or two?

OK. I guess I should've reviewed the team writeups. He gave them a D+/C-. They deserve at least a C. I don't think Wingard played much today as he didn't log any tackles. Gardeck had one.
 
Shipley comes in on a third and 9 and QB throws it away. Hopefully he gets some carries as Barkley not playing.
 
I saw that Cam Ward injured his throwing shoulder. Not sure how serious it is but it would be a bit of poetic justice if it imacts his availability for next year considering Levis suffered a shoulder injury

I don’t think even the Browns are that stupid. Coming into today, Sanders had the 2nd lowest QB rating and QBR out of all qualified NFL quarterbacks. Only UDFA Brady Cook on the hapless Jets was worse. Sanders was well below his teammate, and future journeyman backup type, Dillon Gabriel. The Browns have little invested in Sanders as a 5th round pick so they could easily bench, trade or release him after this 7 or 8 game audition which he failed.

Edit to add: Sanders stunk up the joint today too. A QBR of 12! And a QB rating of 65. LOL, so I think that brings his season averages down further.

RB playing FB Hunter Luepke had 2 carries for 12 yards today. Rounding out the season with only 16 attempts for 71 yards. That’s 4.4 yards per carry, which is plenty respectable for a power back. If Hunter were allowed to drop some weight and play the position properly, he’d easily be one of the better power backs in the NFL. Another talent wasted and pigeonholed by the Caste System.

I was out at a social engagement most of the early games. The Giants are definitely moving the right way.

Can’t believe no one mentioned yet that Gunner Olszewski cracked 100 yards receiving today, likely for the first time in his career. An efficient 8 for 9 on targets for 102 yards. Gunner is another player who has been wildly underutilized in his career as a WSDT and return man almost exclusively. The Giants have Nabers and Robinson, and a WR room of turds. Gunner should be the 3rd or 4th WR next year, but he plays the slot like Robinson and the coaching usually lack the guts to play him over the brothas when they are healthy.
 
Eagles resting starters makes no sense. They could have the #2 seed with a win and Bears loss. The Bears are down 13-0.
 
Cleveland figured out a game plan for helping Sanders with his limitations: Have the defense start the game with two defensive scores to give him a head start.

These NFL coaches are geniuses.
