2025 Track Results

Even more impressive with Tortu's time was that it was his first 100m race of the season, he was in the mix at 70m and needed a photo to separate 6/7. The winner cracks out a 9.84 and the announcers drool instead of going wtf? Dobson just like Ingebritsen is a fluidic naturally smooth strider. Compare his style to Boling running 400m and it is a total contrast.

I have a feeling Henrik Larsson is going to run really fast. He is entered in the 2025 FBK Hengelo Games. Just have a look at this
starting lineup with alot of sub 10 sprinters he is racing against. I hope his nerves don't get to him as this field is stacked!

100m MEN
SANI BROWN Abdul Hakim JPN 9.96
BAKER Ronnie USA 9.83
ANSAH Owen GER 9.99
RICHARDSON Benjamin RSA 9.86
LARSSON Henrik SWE 10.08
AFRIFA Elvis NED 10.18
BLAKE Yohan JAM 9.69

Yohan “magical yams” Blake is running and I thought he had all but retired! Yes it would be great to see Larson get his first sub 10. He certainly has the potential but will have to see how he does against elite competition. That’s what’s so impressive about Kennedy, he seems to have ice in his veins and doesn’t get rattled by the pressure.

Henrik Larsson finished in 3rd in a photo finish. Negative winds and slow times. The winner only ran a 10.25 which is to be expected.

The 2025 NCAA National Championships starts tommorow. The Mens 100 Meters Prelims Heats are on day one. Kalen Walker is in heat 1 and Chance Cross is in heat 3. Let's hope they both can advance, It will take very fast times similar to how they got here. Hoping for Chance Cross to get that first legal sub 10. He has a windy 10.01 and has run 10.09 wind legal this year. Walker is capable of high 9.80's if he makes the final and has his usual rocket start. Hoping for the best for both of these young sprinters!

I am also looking forward to these 2 young men doing very well. I also have high hopes for Victoria Cameron, she hopefully goes sub 11 and finishes no worse than top three. Also hoping Savanah Sutherland wins the 400m hurdles, based on times she has a very good chance of winning.

Peyton Bair, Gaitlin Bair's brother, and a decathlete from Mississippi State, ran 10.25 (0.5w) at the NCAA decathlon Championships today.
He was far and away the fastest in the competition; 2nd place was 10.59.

What an outstanding time. Unheard to have that type of elite speed in the Decathalon. To do 10 different events and yet still maintain sprinter speed is amazing. Just imagine how good Peyton Bair could be if he was a fulltime sprinter?

Peyton followed up his great 100m time in the decathlon, with some other solid marks, including an outstanding 46.00 in the 400m.
He is the decathlon leader after the first day.

The few White men sprinters that was entered in the sprints didn't fare well at all. ICE needs to check out the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. I believe they could round up some illegals.

Hahaha. Good one. Yeah especially Kalen Walker. How do you go from a 9.94 to a 10.23? The wheels came off. Even Boling ran better than that we he got to the final. Chance Cross was slightly better with a 10.17 but they both looked out of sorts. Sometimes you peak too early. That happened with Matthew Boling alot. Much of it was to fatigue wih overracing. Maybe the long season caught up with both of these guys. Still proud of them for making it there. I wish Brody Buffington could have been there as he was improving with every race for the most part. He was close to dropping a world class time in my opinion.

Buffungton ran in the 200m and came in 7th in his semi-final in 20.58.

Yeah I knew that but I was speaking about him being missing from the 100 meters as he didn't make the time needed. Still so proud of this kid with the steps forward he took. His next 2 years of college should see him go sub 10 in my honest opinion!

Karsten Warholm broke the world record in the 300m hurdles today in Oslo; beating Rai Benjamin, Dos Santos, and Samba.
He's the first man to run under 33 seconds. His time was 32.67.

I wonder what Kalen Walker does next. I hope he continues with track as he made that 9.94 look easy. I think he still has more upside.

He has one year left of college because of all of his injuries. His senior year should be epic if he stays healthy!

Long LIve the Viking Warrior! The world record holder and one of the greatest athletes that I have ever watched run track!

Victoria Cameron ran 11.06 in the NCAA 100m semifinals.
She makes it to the final as one of the fastest, non-automatic qualifiers.

She just may be the female version of Lachlan Kennedy! Make us proud Victoria Cameron!

Peyton Bair is the NCAA Champion of the Decathlon.
He set a new PB with an overall score of 8323. That's a collegiate leading time, and the 10th best score in the world so far this year.

Hopefully his performance inspires his little brother Gaitlin, to get back to the track.

Zachary Extine, a junior from Arizona, took 2nd place in the Men's 110m hurdles at the NCAA Championships.
His time was a PB of 13.13.

We will see this guy in the olympics someday!
