that looks an interesting 100 line up - not the people one expect to see in most races.
Just to point out that Browning's PB is listed as from 2021 -which is correct - but that little column showing season best matters more at this stage.
A recent 10.01 gives us more information as to how he might run. He needs points to make the Worlds

Exactly. Jut like Dominik Kopec was close to a 10.00 flat several years ago and hasn't done anything since. Glad Rohan Browning showed his worth winning yet another national title. I really want him to get that first sub 10 as I know he is capable. Rooting for Hansen to have a nice showing too.

Victoria Cameron finished last in 11.30 -1.4W
I just watched the race, and it didn't look as bad as it sounds.
In fact, it seemed like Victoria was leading the race through 60m, although it's hard to tell given the angle.
But she was definitely in the mix, and maybe was just a stride or so behind the winner. See the attached photo (top).
She is just a sophomore, so she will be back.

I blame is on the being stuck in lane 1 and the nerves. Plus it was a very long season for her. I'm very proud of this young lady!

remember races when we were younger. In big finals there could be a difference of 5 metres first to last. In LA'84 Lewis beat 2nd place Graddy by several metres.
It's nothing like that now. It truly is "tough at the top"

yes, and remember that Browning's Australian title time was 10.001.

"12 Apr 2025 — Browning took victory in the men's race with a time of 10.01 (.001), ahead of Lachie Kennedy in 10.01 (.006). .....

"But in a photo finish, Browning's time was confirmed as 10.01 (.001), and Kennedy's 10.01 (.006). Left to right: Lachlan Kennedy, Jake Doran and ... "

it's only in quite recent years with precise technology where that wouldn't be a 10 flat.
To think the "magic" 9.99 was a mere 5 inches away. His top 10 100m times now average 10.06.

I love being in a distant land, but if our sprinters lived in and had opportunities in Europe to race in various surrounding countries throughout their season there would be so many more opportunities and more chances of helpful weather conditions

Lachlan Kennedy has some beautiful numbers in 2025

Unfortunately, Browning was dis-qualified in the heats. So we have no idea how well he might have run.
Simon Hansen ran 10.17 for 4th place.
