Amazing!Kalen Walker 9.94 wind legal!!
The wind calculator I checked said that run would’ve been a 9.97 with +2.0 wind. Not a bad run!Don't forget Chance Cross in the NCAA East 100 Meters. He ran a 10.09 -0.2 wind today to advance to the next round. He may go to a smaller school but this kid sure can run with the best of them!
Also, he won the race beating Omanyala of Kenya and Maswanganyi and Walaza of South Africa, all sub-10 sprinters.Lachlan Kennedy 9.98 (-0.07w) in Kenya today!
Very exciting!!
Victoria Cameron wins her quarter final heat at the NCAA West Regionals, with a time of 11.01 (0.2w).
It was the 2nd fastest qualifying time (fastest was 11.00), and she beat 4 girls from USC in her heat.
She should be good for a sub-11 time, very soon; and she is looking like a strong medal contender.
As previously mentioned, Victoria Cameron was the 2nd fastest qualifier in the 100m. She DNS (did not start) in the 200m.Victoria Cameron won her heat at the NCAA West Regionals, with a time of 11.07. She also qualified in the 200m with a time of 23.19.
Holly Duax of Iowa, won her heat in 23.18.
Savannah Sutherland of Michigan (and Canada) won her 400m hurdles heat at the East Regionals with the fastest time of the day, 55.07.
And for some strange reason, Duke had Braelyn Baker running the 400m hurdles, instead of her best events, the 200m and 400m.
She did qualify for the semi-finals, but is unlikely to make the finals.
Sami Oblad of BYU won her 400m heat in West Regionals, with a great time of 50.96.
