This Shadeur slide is such a mystery. By far the biggest story of the draft to me. Worst slide ever by far. Approaching terminal velocity when it ended. Worse than Rogers and Brady Quinn mild debacles by far.
Some talk of the package deal. You draft the kid, you get Deon in the bargain. If things start going south with his boy Deon might start making trouble on caste media wingnut circuit and who wants to deal with that.
For what it's worth guess who's on the cover of my Athlon Sports (I don't recommend them) draft mag? Maybe a collector's item some day.
I hope they don't try to convert Te Slaa into a tight end.

It's not really a mystery. Sanders was a product of media hype plus the circus that his dad is. It was all that media attention that built him up. He believed the hype as did many low IQ DWFs, militant black fans, media talking heads and the mildly retarded amateur draft "expert" community. No one criticized him during his two years at Colorado and he was given every excuse in the book. He went 13-12, the offense was schemed around him throwing the ball as much as possible, lots of easy throws. Played in the now defunct Pac 12 in 2023 and Colorado went 4-8, moved to the Big 12 in 2024 and went 9-4. Bear in mind the Big 12 he played in is very different than it was years ago as more group of 5 teams moved into the conference to backfill Texas, Oklahoma. Let's not forget how he neglected the whole draft process because he believed he was better than having to participate.
Like I mentioned a few times already Sanders is not the real story here. It's the fact that all the college football playoff QBs with better records and more compelling stories went behind Sanders (Gabriel and Milroe too). Notice the media isn't mentioning a word of the White QBs that got pushed down the draft boards.

Agreed. My hat's off to the intrepid posters here who slogged through the entire grueling draft. I watched none of it and even ignored social media with the exception of CF. I did hear all of the hand-wringing over Sheduer which was very gratifying.
So how many teams did the 100% black thing? The Chiefs certainly did, the closest they got to light skin was Ashton Gillotte from Louisville who looks to be some sort of strange mystery meat (not white). With this draft they are certainly circling the drain.
Hilarious. By my count there was no more than 5,000 people there Saturday, and 15,000 or so on Thursday and Friday. And don't forget, 750,000 allegedly attended last year in Detroit. I can hardly wait to hear the lies next year when it's held in Pittsburgh.

The NFL is DEI. It is not a meritocracy. Every draft for the past 25 years has hovered right around 20% White athletes drafted with little deviation either way (I believe the two outliers were around 15% and 26%). The glass ceiling White athletes face is a very real thing. The open discrimination that Whites have to endure in both the college recruiting and NFL draft processes is not some imagined conspiracy theory. I have followed the draft closely since 2004 and after 20 years the patterns are obvious. I have seen countless White athletes get screwed over and never get a chance at the NFL. The number of White kids coming out of high school every year that get ignored is probably 10 times as bad as the NFL draft.
Year after year there are a ridiculous number of black players drafted at defensive back, wide receiver, running back, linebacker, defensive line, offensive tackle. And the next year the same cycle repeats itself. Meanwhile White athletes are written off because of their 40 time (the NFL draft process makes no effort to take into account much of the other athletic testing (vertical, 3 cone, bench press, short shuttle, broad jump). If the player is black and fast it's a meal ticket to the NFL. Meanwhile the White athlete that has a much more complete athletic workout but is a tenth of a second slowed in the 40 is written off.
The newest trend being pushed is arm length. It's the next big lie behind 40 time to try and push White offensive linemen away from the tackle position. There have been several instances of this I can point to over the past few years - Pete Skoronski, Graham Barton, Grey Zabel, Jonah Monheim all played left tackle in college at a high level but there arms were deemed too short so they get moved to the interior. That is just a small sample off the top of my head. Will Campbell faced the same scrutiny this year about the issues with his arm length despite the fact he was the best blindside protector in the supposed best conference in college football.
The cries of racism and collusion against Shedeur Sanders were beyond asinine. These cries were coming from the same group of people who for the past few weeks have been donating to Karmelo Anthony's gofundme, defending his murder of an innocent White teenager and reveling in the grief of Austin Metcalf's mother and brother (Metcalf's father is another story, a truly pathetic man). Many of these complaints I noted on social media were not people that followed football but just typical angry black people with the well established black victimhood mentality. It's all so tiring.
The real collusion in this draft was this:
Kyle McCord not drafted until the 6th round. McCord was demonized and pushed out of Columbus by the Ohio St fan base despite going 11-1. He goes to Syracuse and leads them to a 10-3 record. He did more for Syracuse than Sanders did for Colorado. Also led the nation in passing and was a better QB than Cam Ward who was gifted the number 1 pick due to skin color.
Will Howard transfers to OSU and has a stellar season running Chip Kelly's offense. He wins a national championship. At KSU he was pushed aside much like McCord so he goes and wins a national championship.
Riley Leonard takes Notre Dame to the national championship game. A true dual threat that was a better passer than he was allowed to be at ND due to playcalling.
Quinn Ewers might be the biggest outrage out of them all considering he won 27 games in the SEC. Won big games in the SEC and guided Texas to back to back playoff appearances.
The militant racist blacks and their white hanger on's crying about Sanders won't be able to deny those facts and will just ignore them. Fact is Sanders thought he was better than he is. He refused to take part in the Shrine bowl practices or game, the combine or the big 12 pro day. He really thought he was that good. His arrogant father fed him and hyped him up all these years. Blacks are saying that Sanders did not "code switch" to appeal to the "White" owners. You can't make this stuff up. Millions of black people in this country think like that.

I find it interesting that some of the darkest teams last year, who also failed to make the playoffs, have been making offseason moves to whiten through free agency and the draft. The Seahawks, Browns, Patriots and Bears would fall into this category. Even the Texans and Panthers have made a few positive moves. Only the Packers and Jets seem to be doubling down on the ultra black shtick. I really do wonder if these teams get a "memo" that its a bad look to field overwhelming black teams while having terrible results on the field. There must be some acknowledgement that there is a breaking point where the DWF support for the team starts to wain....

From a business perspective I think teams and the NFL know there need to be certain number of White players and then a fair proportion of that need to be elite to both keep the mantra of best players play (when we know that's not true as white players aren't given a fair chance) and more importantly to stay economically viable and keep DWF attention.
After all Christian Mccaffrey is the highest selling Jersey for instance!
The powers that be seem to have decided that 20% White (excluding special teams) is the "ideal" number for the DEI NFL. Over the next decade we'll probably see fewer teams being ultra coal black, but also, of course, teams like Chip Kelly's 45% White Eagles will never be allowed to exist again. The typical NFL team will have 12-15 Whites on its 53-man roster, with 9-12 White position players to keep the ratio as close to 20% as possible, plus the kicker, punter, and long snapper who will almost always be White.

This could have easily gone in the “Another ESPN Jerk” thread. Good video of Jason Whitlock calling out Kiper and ESPN. He makes some good points, albeit from a more normie-con position. I will give big credit at around the 7:50 for calling into question Kiper being jewish and the connection to blacks pushing racial disharmony. If he’s question a White looking individual, and delineating that he maybe jewish, then he knows about the nose.

Just saw a “way too early” 2026 mock draft that had Dillon Thieneman and Bray Hubbard in the first round. Can’t recall any time I have seen two White DBs projected in round 1.

The crowd photos look fake. A true photo would be from above from a drone. There is no rational reason for 10’s of thousands of people to stand in a flat area to try to watch roger gaydell bear hug a negro once every 15 minutes. This is fake as fluck. It’s ridiculous. At least a football stadium has elevated seating to watch an actual game. Also, the whole “Shedeur sliding down the draft” seems scripted to keep interest in an otherwise weak draft. I expect Sheduer to be the day one starter in Cleveland who they could have had with the number 2 pick but for the script.

(CB Cooper Dejean + S Cole Bishop).....
Even though the 2025 Class lacked Big Timers like last year (only Two 2 White DBs selected again ; Dan Jackson & Hunter Wohler BOTH in 7th Round ) ....
this DB Class does look "Deeper" with more UDFAs (Brooks; Clark ; Volk ; Howell etc) when making DB thread
When i posted here several times that the SEC Started 5 White DBs ( 4 Walk-On's) ; most have seen since following SEC as a kid...
