The most notable thing about the Cardinals is that they have a whopping (by NFL standards) seven White defensive players on the roster to start the season, including three starters: DE J. J. Watt (when healthy, which hasn’t been often since he was tearing up the league like maybe no other lineman before or since), T Zach Allen (who has also played a lot at end), and WLB Dennis Gardeck, finally getting regular playing time after being perhaps the most productive LB in the league on a per snap basis this side of Alex Singleton.

Offense is a different story, as the Cardinals again roll out their time-honored sumo-dominated line. LG Justin Pugh is the only White starter and RG Sean Harlow is the only White back-up.

The picture is brighter at tight end, with veteran Zach Ertz starting, backed up by Maxx Williams and rookie Trey McBride, the first TE drafted in 2022.

Colt McCoy and Trace McSorley are the back-ups at quarterback.

All CFers are familiar with the screwing WR Andy Isabella has taken in the desert thanks to head coach Kliff Kucksbury. Now in the final year of his rookie contract, Isabella’s fans can only hope he’s traded during the season or signs with another team in the offseason. Given that there’s been zero reported interest since it went public months ago that he had been granted permission to seek a trade, Isabella’s four-year mistreatment may mean that he’ll never have a shot at regular playing time in the NFL despite his speed and proven productivity while at UMass. The Patriots would be a natural landing ground, but the “new and not improved” version of Bill Belichick makes that unlikely.

LG: Justin Pugh
RG: Sean Harlow
TE: Zach Ertz, Maxx Williams, Trey McBride
QB: Colt McCoy, Trace McSorley
WR: Andy Isabella

DE: J.J. Watt
DT: Zach Allen
MLB: Nick Vigil, Ben Niemann, Tanner Vallejo
WLB: Dennis Gardeck
SLB: Cameron Thomas

Number of White starters: 5
Number of White players on 53 man roster: 18
Grade: D-

P: Andy Lee
PK: Matt Prater
LS: Aaron Brewer

Practice squad (thin gruel here): TE Bernhard Seikovits, G Martin Koda

Hold onto your chair, the Cardinals actually have 7 pale faces on defense! LB Tanner Vallejo was missed (maybe for the surname?). Anyway considering that the Cardinals are as White overall as say the Bengals, it’s interesting than one is supported and the other loathed by our ranks.

Well the answer lies in first the treatment of Isabella, who as Don highlighted has been screwed worse than anyone short of Mike Hass. 2nd the team starts the annoying and media hyped quota Murray at QB. And that’s not to say he doesn’t have talent, it’s just that a White QB listed at 5’-10” (yea right) would not have been allowed to start at a program like Oklahoma. Nor would the media engage in a hype campaign to drive him up the board to the #1 pick.

So as mentioned elsewhere, Isabella was cut. In his place comes former 1st rounder Billy Price (C / G) to backup the interior line. If Andy lands in a better spot, this is a win / win.

\Yes just like Ryan Nall we have seen Isabella suffer for 4 long years. Insane for a team to act like they want someone but never play them. Well it was similar with what the Bears did to Nall. They only play these guys in preseason or as a last resort.

The term Coach Kuckleburry fits just perfect!

Cardinals signed mega bust Laquon Treadwell to the practice squad a week after cutting Isabella. You can’t make this stuff up!

Cardinals traded for Panthers malcontent Wr Robbie Anderson a day after his sideline meltdown. One of the other WRs - Brown has a season ending injury.

I hope Isabella finds some humor in this.

Good Lord. Talk about slobberin' and salivatin'. This guy should wear a bib when he writes stuff like this.
Yes I know. I didn't want to be the first to comment about that. The disgusting thing to make it worse was the way the writer was denigrating towards McCoy all the while lauding Murray who he was admitting shouldn't be starting. He couldn't do one or the other and still why diss McCoy while inextricably making those points? Insane. What race pandering crapola!

Nice to see JJ Watt have a good year and (most importantly) staying healthy. He has 6.5 sacks on the year, several TFLs and a slew of pressures and hits. Not a lot of tackles but he is still playing well. I suspect he will reach 10 sacks for the year and be among the leaders in qb hits/pressures.

The pudgy cuckold GM Steve Keim is excusing himself on a medical leave for the rest of the season and is likely to be permanently replaced.

After pledging a quarter of a billion dollars to a petulant, diminutive black black quarterback who does not study the playbook and perhaps cannot even read, the architect of this disaster rides off into the sunset.

According to league sources, team owner Michael Bidwill was particularly active talking one on one with participants of last week's accelerator program, where 32 minority candidates across 28 clubs joined the league meetings in Texas to learn, shadow and network with NFL decision-makers.

For his next act, Bidwell can fire Kliff Kingsbury (good riddance) and hire George Floyd's mother to coach the team.

Arizona COULD reach Wakanda status with the hiring of George Floyd's mother as GM!

And the cuck made serious bank and can afford a house no where near the Wakandans and other Democratic voters of vibrancy.

Exactly. And he'll probably end up in another front office elsewhere.

Arizona will start a different quarterback with Colt McCoy in concussion protocol this weekend. Trace McSorley, or as I call him, the “rich man’s Lamar Jackson,” will get his first NFL start. If Kliff “the cuckold” Kingsbury wants to validate his NFL tenure, he will dial up his play-calling to utilize his new star.

It may be too late in the season for McSorley to be anointed as the NFC Pro Bowl starter, but he can kick off his campaign for the 2023 season MVP. I think it’s fair to say that if Kingsbury loses this game despite the glut of talent on field, he should be immediately fired and permanently banished from the league. This is simply logical.

If the Cardinals treated Andy Isabella so miserably to appease the "locker room," it certainly didn't work. Karma's a bitch, Kliff Kucksbury:

Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury said he is not considering walking away from the Cardinals at the end of the season.

A report from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler suggested Kingsbury could quit his head coaching gig after being "miserable" throughout the 2022 season. Fowler's sources describe the Cardinals' locker room as toxic. Kingsbury told reporters he had not seen the reporter but shot down the idea of simply quitting. Even if he doesn't voluntarily leave, Cardinals owner Michael Bidwell, who is currently without a general manager, could reset things by firing Kingsbury.

Karma indeed! Pretty funny that Kingsbury was viewed as the ideal coach for the manlet Murray. Murray so far seems to be immune from much external criticism. We can all recall the "study time" clause in his idiotic long term deal and how the Cardinals were pressured into removing it. Now they have an undersized QB that won't have the same mobility tied in as their long term answer at the position.

Cucksbury fired. GM resigns too. I bet they regret hitching their wagon to the manlet.

That organization is in shambles.

Good luck to whoever’s taking over. They have “star money” invested in a QB who isn’t and that is going to hamper investing in the necessary upgrades elsewhere.
