Im not an NBA fan as it is very boring to me but this Chinese guy out of Harvard now playing for the Knicks is taking NYC by storm.
A recent article came out about fat, racist reporter , Jason Whitlock , ( black ) that after Lin dropped 38 on the Lakers last week that some lucky girl was in for " several inches of pain ". Hes getting raked over the coals by everyone. If this guy was white he would have been fired. The double standards continue.:dodgy:

I just posted this in the NBA thread. Yes, I too am sick of the fat, lazy, racist Jason Whitlock. The guy hates all other races and it's blatantly obvious.

No big deal. It's obviously a big story and and Yahoo because of course Lin is a minority. If Whitlock had said the the same about a white player not a peep would be made. As we can all see, Lin has plenty of protection from the media and it just goes to show how whites are being attacked in every aspect of life.

I've been so busy that I haven't heard about Lin until this afternoon. Anyway, it doesn't surprise me that Whitlock would write something like that. Negroes love to use the size myth to make fun of other races. No doubt if Whitlock were White, he'd be toast. Just one of many race related double standards I wish would go away, along with the ever-present lies. I saw where one organization is showing "Red Tails" as part of their black history month celebration. Curiously enough, they are also including HIV testing in the festivities.
 
Now it looks like Floyd Gayweather is going at Lin. This just goes to show you the amount of hatred that blacks have inside them towards other races.

Floyd Mayweather is not going all Lin.
The outspoken boxer who once told rival Manny Pacquiao, a Filipino, to "make some sushi rolls and cook some rice" has retained the title of heavyweight champion of insensitivity by claiming New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin is getting national attention for his race rather than his game.
"Jeremy Lin is a good player," Mayweather tweeted Monday, "but all the hype is because he's Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don't get the same praise."
Black players outscore Kobe Bryant every night? Black players who went undrafted rack up at least 20 points and seven assists in each of their first four career starts? Black players go from D-League DNPs to leading the Knicks to five straight wins?
Yes, Lin being Asian is a big part of the story. He's the first American-born player of Taiwanese or Chinese descent to play in the NBA. That's different, and therefore newsworthy. There would probably also be a lot of hype if, say, a black golfer came out of Stanford and started winning golf majors. Or if, just hypothetically, two black sisters from Compton dominated the world of tennis.

Mayweather's comments are ignorant, but what's also disturbing is that there really aren't too many Asian voices to shout bigotry down. Jason Whitlock should have been fired for his awful joke about Lin's anatomy, but don't look for that to happen. What Floyd said isn't nearly as bad, but clearly the half-baked theories that demean Asian-Americans in this country are not as curtailed or chided as they should be. That's in part because there haven't been too many Asian voices in sports media. There haven't been too many respected Asian coaches in the major sports. And let's face it, there haven't been too many outspoken Asian superstars anywhere in American pop culture. Pacquiao, ironically, is one of the most celebrated Asian athletes of our time.
Maybe at some point he'll have a chance to reply to Floyd with his fists.
 
The crowd in Toronto cheered for Lin's 3 point winner as if he were a Raptor. I don't know what the crowd looked like tonight but Toronto has one of the largest Chinese communities outside China.
 
I see negroes around the internet, including a long-time Knicks fan from Harlem (part of New York) who posts on ESB, are making disparaging comments about Lin and agreeing with Mayweather.

That demonstrates how deeply racist negroes are.

Jeremy Lin should be an inspiration to us all.
 
The Jeremy Lin story is a good one and more good can come out of it. Here's a humble Asian kid who's been passed over and ignored his entire basketball life (sound familiar?) and he's now having major success at the highest level. Not only is he breaking all the bogus stereotypes, he's doing it against blacks in their own "league", which may help wake up some people about the silly notion that this is a "black man's game". We are already seeing some of the racist comments from various blacks, and seeing their true faces is another bonus in this whole spectacle.
 
Jeremy Lin won a state championship in HS and yet, no one noticed, I wonder why :dodgy:

He goes to and graduates Harvard, un-drafted, cut by two teams.... and now is taking the NBA by storm. Racist blacks despise him as their game may now slowly be taken from them. This will open all high school/collegiate coaches to hopefully finally actually 'look' for talent.


Lin can dunk and run, and shoot; He out leaped John Wall (40 inch vertical) for the ball in last weeks knicks-wizards game.

I have to agree here, Lin is a caste buster and an inspiration. The negative comments about his playing ability or "size of manhood" being made by these black "sports writers" is totally unacceptable and they should be fired immediately! It's just another example of the American double standard! I feel that Asian athletes, and the people for that matter, are generally hard workers who are humble and thankful for the opportunities they get. I also believe they are often over looked because of their race. Hopefully this guy has a long and fruitful career.
 
Yeah I've heard the same "castebuster" talk before on this site whenever an asian or jap or even samoan excels in a black dominated sport. So tell me which White athletes are helped by this? What attitudes towards White athletes have changed? In the coming months please point out how the Lin story helps a White guy.

I know you White guys like to cheer for the underdog and are eager to take a shot at the myth of black superiority but how again is this going to help the WHITE GUYS???
 
I am hoping that it helps the white athletes by exposing not only the myth of black athleticism, but by helping the fans, coaches, and media recognize the blatant pro-black racism in sports.

Race in sport is viewed in simples black and white terms, having an Asian succeed has everyone looking at things from a different perspective, and this could help them change their views.
Jeremy's road to success has come on the same caste route as many white athletes. Basically being a great athlete, but not given credit for it because of not being black, and only getting a chance due to injuries to other players.
I watched ESPN closely after his first 2 successful games, and all the analysts said this was an anomaly. He wouldn't be able to continue to play at this level. Some of the black analysts in particular laughed him off, like he was a cute kid, but no way could he play with the big boys.
Now that he has proven them wrong, maybe people will start to think and wonder, 'hey, why didn't anyone recognize the talent, the skill level, the ambition in this kid before? how could coaches, scouts etc, not see this talent even when they were watching him in practice.
Maybe they will begin to question themselves and their beliefs.
The fact that Jeremy is Asian, has more more power to do this I think, because these people believed that Asians are even less likely than whites to be able to compete with 'athletic' blacks.
So I'm hoping Jeremy is going to be a big caste buster, that will benefit all athletes subject to the caste system.

I cheer for WHITE GUYS period and I have never considered any white person, player, etc. ever the underdog based on race.

Lin is a good story for Asians, but this changes nothing for any race that's not black, especially for white players. I believe Lin will be treated the way Jason "White Chocolate" Williams was when he came into the league. Initially creating a buzz, but when the Knick starters come back his star will fade somewhat.

No, if a change is ever to come, more whites are going to have to get off their a$$'s and challenge the black players in basketball and football. One of the greatest players of all time, Larry Bird, didn't take crap from anyone. He was a tough kid who stood up to any black player that tried to intimidate him. Any black that played against or with him will attest to that!

It has to start at the lowest levels of these sports, 5,6,7 years of age.

Many white kids live a country club, soft style of life and that's got to change!

Parents need to be more involved with their children.
This is what I see in my area of the country.

I'm not sure this will ever happen, but the attitudes toward white players will have to change. White basketball players who win state championships and white RB's who lead their state in rushing will have to be given more opportunity to play their positions at the D-1 level!

Can't do much about that last point, but much can be done about the first 3.

I agree it doesn't help out White athletes. It seems like only blacks are against this guy, everyone else seems to love him. I guess blacks will be upset when they realize the agenda is to push all non-WHITES, not just blacks. I guess they weren't concerned with Samoans because of the small population but with the Chinese its a different story. The only thing that would help is if Whites took a lesson from Chinese on this. He is getting tons of hype because he is tapping into a market that wouldn't be watching unless one of their own was playing. If Whites were like that we would have seen tons of overlooked Whites get the shot they deserve. Tebow only got the hype because he got tons of Christians buying his gear. If Lin were White what would the talk be? All about how he can't sustain this level of play, I know they said that after a few games, but still, an entire season of great play by a White guy and they still say stuff like that.

Totally agree with this line of thinking, despite all the negative comments about Lin on this thread. I think the Lin story helps our cause on several levels. First of all, the obvious fact that recruiting has been shown to be "not science" and, in fact, biased upon racial lines. Secondly, the fact that its OK to root for athletes from your own race. Seeing all of these Asian Americans come out and root for Lin, which is played up as a "positive" by the MSM is a hilarious juxtaposition of how the MSM would treat European Americans who openly say they root for white athletes for the very same reason. It just has to be pointed out by the more intelligent folks like the ones who post on this forum. I can't tell you how many times I have been lambasted or scorned by fellow whites for saying things like "I'm pulling for the Patriots because they are the whitest team"......these same folks think its great that Asian Americans are pulling for Lin....you just have to throw it in their face and make them think. A generation of cultural Marxism propaganda to squelch any sort of white pride is hard to overcome.....one fan at at time baby!

Yeah, we can use this as an example of the double standard and try to point that out to folks. Lin himself does nothing for White players.

I agree. The "Linsanity" in the corporate media is way over the top, but there are more positives than negatives to his emergence.
 
Don has said it best. The caste system does not mean the media writing about Asians or Hispanics being superior athletes. Heck, if anything, they are considered inferior athletes to whites (maybe Hispanics in the lighter weight classes in boxing as the exception here).

I tend to cheer for guys like Manny Pacquiao or Jeremy Lin, unless they are competing against whites.

I have no problem cheering for someone like Cotto or Pacquiao against black racists like Gayweather.

I just got banned from an NFL team website for positing that all these Asian Americans coming out in support of Lin are "racists"......been battling a moderator who constantly referred to me as the "Grand Wizard" because I simply commented favorably on European American players. I called him out to say similar things about these Asian Americans supporting Lin in droves, simply because he is Asian American.....the simple reality of this logic forced him to immediately ban my account.....couldn't face the reality of his own self-loathing racism
 
What I find noticeable is that some of them same leftist sports journalists who mocked Tim Tebow for expressing his faith so boldly seem to love equally upfront Christian Jeremy Lin. I can't imagine what the difference might be.:biggrin:
