Collie is already have way there with 503 yards receiving so far this season. If he was a starter every game he would probably have 1,200 receiving yards on the season, barring injury of course.

As expected, Collie will not play in this week's game against the Bengals, but is doing well, according to coach Caldwell. In the meantime, the Colts have activated Brandon Jamesfrom the practice squad. I didn't see anywhere in the story where they refer to James as a "stub", or "diminutive" or any of the other derogatory terms thrown around regularly at Danny Woodhead, who is bigger than this guy.

One could posit that Garcon is due for a strong finish, but Austin Collie is simply the superior player.

The Colts are in the rare situation this season of struggling just to make the playoffs. They can't afford to keep starting Garcon. Watching Peyton Manning's body language after Garcon's innumerable drops and mistakes, it's clear he's thoroughly exasperated with him.

All the Colts need to do is look at their game film from the Broncos game when they had 9 whites on offense and were systematically dismantling the Broncos. The blueprint has already been established. When they went away from that, they lost at JAX, struggled against KAC and have simply not looked the same since.
Tamme has done an admirable job replacing Dallas Clark. So, they need to go back to what worked. Manning, + 5 white OL, + Collie and Wayne on the outside, + Blair White on the slot, + Tamme as TE, and whichever RB is healthy. Only bring in Garcon at 4 receiver sets, or occasionally to replace White. If you move Garcon to #2, use him as a decoy and instead look to Collie/Wayne/Tamme for the big play.
Imagine if Colts could have Toby Gerhart in the back-field. 10 white starters and they would undoubtedly dominate on offense, toying with any black defense they faced.

Problem with the Colts is they grabbed the wrong player from Mount Union. They should have gotten the BEST player on the team, not the "second" best. I'm sure that Nate Kmic would be a great NFL back.

No question. He would be a great all-around player, guaranteed yardage and production with every touch. But instead we have "great" players like Le'Ron Mclain, Mike Bell, Joe McKnight, Mike Goodson, etc. etc. etc. Not to mention the Colts resident hands of stone, Pierre "Frenchman" Garcon.

It is almost a miracle that Danny Woodhead is actually being used in the NFL. I wished the same for Nate, but sadly it didn't happen. Nate Kmic was awesome to watch in college! I watched at least a dozen Mount Union games online when he was THE MAN. He's just one of the most recent in a tremendously long list of incredibly talented White athletes caste aside over the last 30 years.
Even the Colts' first round pick last year, RB Donald Brown, has looked very average at best, during those rare occasions when he isn't injured. The Colts are one of the few teams that generally draft well in the early rounds, but they look to have struck out with Brown and with this year's first round pick, DE Jerry Hughes. What, another black DL bust? Who'd a thunk it?

Collie hasn't been ruled out of the New England game this weekend. If he returns to practice this week, he may play Sunday.

These concussions certainly worry me a lot. They could spell doom for his career if they continue. The amount of concussions in the league has gone up significantly. Hopefully Collie will be okay.
I can't recall Marvin Harrison or Reggie Wayne ever taking shots like Collie has just this season. Given that he's the best receiver on the team now, eclipsing the aging Wayne, the Colts need to move Collie outside if they want him to have a long and productive career. He's paid his dues going over the middle, time to pass that duty onto others.

Oh, I noticed that to replace Collie's roster spot the Colts signed worthless over-the-hill safety Ken Hamlin. What a joke!

If you really want to know who can't take shots to the head, you should ask all of the black opponents of the Klitschko brothers who have been knocked out by the superior speed, skill and strength of the White athlete.
also, Collie was probablyrushed back too soon. The longer you wait after a concussion the less likely another one will happen. The sooner you come back, the more likley you will get another one etc. His original injury was probably more severe than they led on.
