Klitschko continues to fracture the caste system. Kellerman is probably on suicide watch. The wiggers must be losing a little faith. The media is still trying it's best to cover this up.

I found a defector.I was surprised to learn Kevin Iolehad writtena half-way decent piece about WK before the fight.

Don't blame Klitschko for heavyweight woes

If anyone can please name me a more dominant heavyweight than Klitschko. I don't just mean recently. I am talking about ever. Yes that is how good he really is. I know Rahman is a bum but he's still a top 10 heavyweight according to rankings. He landed only a handful of punches through 7 rounds. Has Tyson or Holyfield ever been that dominant? Ali? No, not at all. As good as Wlad is his brother is even better!!!! I am loving every minute of this.

This is a re-posting of J41181's comment from another topic:

The KLITSCHKO BROTHERS have given something Heavyweight Boxing has been
missing for the last 70 years (1936-2005, with exception to Ingemar
Johansson in 1959-60), WHITE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONS. Gone are the GREAT
WHITE HOPE DAYS, these are now the GREAT WHITE CHAMP DAYS. The AMERICAN
MEDIA has been spoiled so much by the likes of ALI, TYSON, and even
LENNOX LEWIS, that they now think heavyweight division is one BIG JOKE.

They fail and even refuse to recognize the class and greatness of
the Klitschko Brothers. They are pretty much living the the PAST. The
Klitschko Brothers are TRUE GREATS not only in boxing, but in all of
sports. How often does one see boxers with DOCTORATE DEGREES?!?

I bet that if ALI could only TALK today about the Klitschko
Brothers, even he would be SPEECHLESS. The Klitschko Brothers, TRUE
BOXING HALL OF FAMERS. The WIGGERS of the AMERICAN SPORTING MEDIA
are a bunch of SCROOGES and DUMB ASSES.

I really cannot think of a heavyweight that has ever been this dominant either. Little guys got to Ali in his prime and while they did not win they at least got to him and beat him. The same thing happened to Holmes. Tyson was one dimensional and punished sluggers but history proved a good boxer would usually beat him. Holyfield -even with PEDs- was a great cruiserweight but never a great heavyweight as he was too small. The same would have to be said about Dempsey, Louis, and Marciano: too small to fight the Klitschkos. So there really is only one other fighter we can compare to the Klitschkos and that is Lewis. A look at Lewis's record and I do not see anything more impressive than Wladimir's. Lewis does have an excellent resume, but I cannot honestly say it is better than Wladimir's. But time is marching on and Wladimir is not just winning he is winning against the best the world has to offer and he beats these guys without getting touched. The only knock against Vitali's record is the lower number of fights. But, his resume is just as impressive because of two things: one, he beat Lewis on the scorecards while having to fight with an extremely bad This fight discouraged Lewis and forced him to retire. Two, he recently walked out of a four year layoff and obliterated the world's number one contender (Peter). If he gets a chance to fight Haye he will most certainly send Haye back into dreamland, where he is now, and lay down the gauntlet for anyone to argue he is not the best or second best of all time. Either way, Klitschko or Klitschko, history is being written here and it is getting more and more difficult to say these two men are not the best heavyweights of all time. Edited by: Maple Leaf

Yet through all of his accomplishments I heard one of the HBO announcers say last night that Klitschko "is probably the best heavyweight right now." All he can get is a probably.

If you mean dominante as in over his competition, there have been fighters just as/more dominant than Klitschko. Jim Jeffries had to retire because there was no one left to fight. Rocky Marciano of course. Lewis lost twice but avenged them both, I think Lewis and Wlad are very similar fighters.

And Bart, I read that piece by Iole, and and was going to post it here. It's a testament to how good Klitschko is that Iole would "defect" like that!

Also, did anyone hear Kellerman say, not a direct quote but something along the lines of, "Klitschko is just as if not more accomplished that Lennox Lewis and Larry Holmes"? If Max said this, I'm very surprised. I don't think I heard it wrong, but for Max to put Klitschko in with Holmes and Lewis is probably the best compliment Kellerman can give. Of course, we all knew Klitschko was better than these two for some time now

Kellerman said Wlads skills were on the same level as Lewis but he thought Lewis to be tougher. Suprising huh? What irritates me is Wlad has the best jab of all time, bar none, and nobody will acknowledge that fact.

Wlad is probably the only fighter I have ever watched that can win an entire fight with a left jab. Wlads hook off the jab is second to none and that straight right is as good as any I've seen. The man is simply the best heavyweight of all time, with the exception of possibly his brother, and punks like Kellerman won't admit it. It's disgraceful.

Another shot black hope had a fantasy about dethroning one the kings of boxing. Get serious. Just finished watching the replay and came away with several things.

1st. Wlad's pulverizing jab will keep him Champ for at least 3 or more years. Like George Foreman said once, "If you have a good jab, this sport is easy." I see relatively easy times for Wlad.

2nd. Wlad has developed great head movement and understands the concept of fighting large, under the tutledge of Manny Steward. Steward saw the greatest in Wlad and latched on. Good for both of them.

3rd. Kellerman, who I think is not as bad as some here suggest, is becoming a fan and giving Wlad and his
brother credit and stated that they are the true Heavyweight champs.

4th. If I am a professional fighter, I consider Buddy Mcguirt the black plague! All of his fighters seem to lose, lose and lose. He must have some mystical powers to get hired time and time again.

Dirk: When you have the trio you described above you don't need to use much else. That's sort of why Wlad.'s fights look so simple.

Brian Doogan(The European correspondent for Ring) already has stated that in his mind Vitali could beat any heavyweight in the history of boxing. Of course US media people are slow in giving anything more than faint praise...

Wladimir is unstopable right now. Rahman did not land anything of any worth. There is no -not any- doubt who the world heavyweight champion is.

Blacks can not seem to win a championship anymore. Where have all the trolls gone? Have all the wiggers lost their heros? I think blacks see the MMA and see all of the white boxing champions now and have lost their confidence. It seems to me a complete reversal since the turn of the millenium.
I saw the fight live and wow I don't think Rockhead landed a power punch to the head. It was about as dominant for a 7th round tko as a champion could have. Still if Weeks hadn't felt charitable(it is the Christmas season) to Rockhead we could have seen him launched from the ring again as he was a good combination away from a 5 minute ko...

It is still surprising, inspite of overwhelming proof, how stubborn posters are on other boxing sites. They just cannot -or will not- be able to square with the fact that the Klitschkos are not only the true champions but are running away with history. Wladimir has cleanly knocked out 20 or more Rahmans and all they can do is blame the competition.

Just waiting for the Holyfield Valuev fight next weekend. I hope this fight retires Holyfield for good.

Guys like Holyfield and Toney are discrediting the sport with their persistence to hang on and play for undeserved title shots and paycheques. Holyfield should not even be given a license and should have all of his steroids taken away from him.

I even saw a video clip of Klitschko smashing Rahman on EPSN sunday morning after the fight. Granted, it was only about 5-6 seconds long, and the ESPN troll reading the dialog for the video seemed VERY unhappy about the result of the fight.

God, how I wish the ref would have allowed Rahman to keep fighting. We would have seen a KO more explosive and violent than the night that Oleg Maskaev smashed Rahman through the ropes and onto the judges table.

I think the media ladies have officially lost faith in the black, american heavyweights (and for good reason). Even Max Kellerman seems to be changing his tune before our very eyes.

The old "The NFL and NBA steal our heavyweights" excuse will only last so long before americans see how amazingly dominant these euro HWs really are. What they should be saying is "The NHL steals our heavyweights."

I can't wait for David Haye to become WK's next victim!

Valuev really needs to make a statement.I know that he's fighting a dead Holyfield but he has to win by a KO.No bullsh*t decision of any kind,a KO.In fact it would be good to see Holy on the canvas for a few minutes after the fight or maybe helped from the ring or worse. There was a Canadian fighter named Gaetan Hart in the early 80's who parlayed two devestating wins into a title shot with Aaron Pryor. The American media picked-up on this and this is how I want Valuev to be looked at,you know to get people talking. If he struggles against Evander it won't be long before he goes to the delete binEdited by: speedster

A horrible "article" about the Klitschkos and the heavyweight division.

http://www.15rounds.com/dull-but-relevant-121508/

The article is is also very deceptive.I am copying a paragraph to illustrate.

(snip) Which returns us to Lennox Lewis. Like most professional athletes Lewis is most intelligible when talking about himself. He did plenty of that Saturday. Goaded by co-analyst Max Kellerman, Lewis showed little restraint in saying that while he needed only four rounds to render the best Rahman unconscious, Klitschko hadn't come close in five rounds with a much lesser version. Then Lewis cheerily encouraged people to draw their own conclusions about what that meant. (snip)

Yeah, OK, Lewis needed only four rounds to render Rahman unconscious and Klitschko hadn't come close in five rounds. Problem is the writer and Lewis somehow forgot to mention something else. That Lewis was viciously KTFOwith one punch by the very same Rahman inthe fifth roundof their previous title fight. Clowns!

Yes, that is very true. Lewis in his prime would have no chance against either Klitschko right now. No chance whatsoever. The coward took the easy way out and retired after fighting Vitali because he knew he would lose the rematch. Lewis is a joke and if he thinks he's so good let him come out of retirement and fight them.

I have a coworker who thinks both Wladimir and Vitali are the best right now, but would have been easily defeated by Tyson, Ali, Holmes, Frazier, Foreman (you know, the usual suspects).

What is it with people and their refusal to give credit to white fighters?

And for what it's worth, I think both Klitschko's would have done well in any era -- especially against Frazier, whose face would probably look like a blob of hamburger after ten rounds of eating Wlad-jabs.

Not just the Klitschko's there are many other good white heavyweights. Dimitrenko, Povetkin, Chagaev, Ibragimov, and even Valuev. For all the crap Valuev takes about being a horrible fighter, he is good. The guy is 7 foot and a decent fighter. He's also 48-1. He deserves credit.
