select?

This draft class is even weaker than last years. If they do get this pick, they might trade it for more picks.

Teams like Cincinnati, St. Louis and Jacksonville are slobbering over Michael Oher. He'll be picked in the top 5 (probably top 3) like Chris Samuels by the Redskins' some years ago.

Line play is atrocious in much of the NFL, so there should be a big run on affletic OL/DL. Quite a few juniors are going to enter. I would advise Matt Stafford to enter. If you're selected in the 12-25 range in the 1st round, you are probably better off. He could go top 10 right now, but being picked higher is not always a better situation.

Mark Herzlich should enter. BC is probably going to be a down-program for the next few years. Might as well go through the "apprenticeship" now. John Carlson should have entered the draft after his junior season.

Colt McCoy should stay at Texas. Tebow should stay at Florida. Hey, maybe they can meet in the National Championship next year!

If Stafford doesn't enter, a QB might not go in the 1st round. Cullen Harper might be a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

For whatever reason, a lot of the really good (in my observation) White lineman are sophomores and juniors and they won't be in this draft. This draft will be sumotastic like the 2002 draft.

Even the Caste-ites will have a hard time selling this weak draft class. Linebacker might be the strongest position in this draft.

If the Lions finish 0-16, they do have the 1st pick right...?

They select Matt Stafford. Lions management isn't stupid enough to think that they have their QB situation somewhere in the organization. Stafford will go #1 overall to the Lions.

I'm pretty sure that Sam Bradford will go in the top ten somewhere. The Seahawks might want an heir to Matt Hasslebeck, or the Chiefs may not be totally sold on Tyler Thigpen for whatever reason. He's a good QB. I think McCoy has essentially confirmed that he's returning to Texas, but don't quote me on that.

I agree with the sumo assessment. These organizations with struggling O-lines are probably wondering why they suck so bad:

"We drafted so many athletic linemen, how can our line be struggling? It must be (insert white QB here)'s fault for not releasing the ball in two seconds. That's our problem!"

The LB class is solid with "overachievers" like McKillop and Laurinitis. They project as first-rounders to me, but then again I'm no Mel Kiper.

Mel Kiper is no Mel Kiper. He thought that the Lions had the pick of the draft when they selected Mike Williams.

Draft is pure sorcery, and anyone who tells me different is totally deluded!

The Lions have several picks from their trade with Dallas for Roy Williams. The no 1 pick won't be super critical. Plus the Lions have blown their first pick for the last decade (except C. Johnson). I think they will be reluctant to pick a QB no 1, they really got burned with Joey Harrington. Tebow maybe cause you couldn't pass on that guy but Stafford? Kinda risky.

I wouldn't want Detroit to draft Stafford. I think they'll trade the pick.

BTW, jaxvid, have you seen Stafford play? His arm speed is superior to Tebow's. I think his mind works faster than Tebow's as well. Stafford can work the middle of the field.

I usually see Tebow working the sidelines. The one critique I have for Tebow is he plays the QB position in a "diddly-dallying" fashion. That won't work in the NFL. His decision-making speed needs to be improved. NFL O-lines just get worse and worse.

I think they should trade the pick, get more pics, and take Tim Tebow, who will be everything our self hating white media HOPED Vince Young would be. If they had any brains, they would take trade out and take James Laurenites first, then Tebow, both in the first round.

I agree completely, that would be my dream scenerio.

I saw a bit of Stafford in his bowl game and he's going to be a good one I think. Would not be a bad pick.

Um, you know that the media is 98% Jewish owned, right? It's not technically "white self-hatred," more like Zionist hating whites and promoting multiculturalism at all costs.

However, judging by the pathetic way in which the few white members of the media behave....it wouldnt be too drastic of a change if the media were 98% white owned.
