White WRs/TEs 2009

Jack Doyle - TE, Western Kentucky
Game high 6 catches for game high 80 yards in a loss to Navy.

This is more impressive than it sounds. Eleven different players for WKU had at least one reception. Six different players had multiple catches. They REALLY spread it around. And Doyle seems to be their #1 target. He's a true freshman. I expect we'll be hearing his name more prominently in a few years.

Gino Simone - FR WR, Washington State

Game high 8 catches for 83 yards in loss to USC.

Briggs Orsbon - SO WR, Ball State

Game high 7 catches for 35 yards in loss to Auburn.

Ryan Tannehill - SO WR, Texas A&M

3 catches for game high 101 yards (!) and 1TD in victory over UAB.

White WRs/TEs in the top 50 in receiving yardage.

both Jordan and Eric are in top 5 of rivals (!) wide receivers

latest ranking.

Garrett Graham is their top TE, Dennis Pita is 2nd.

I believe that's college football FANTASY power rankings BR. I bet if Rivals had their way, they'd have zero white WRs in the top 10 draft prospect rankings. They might actually be forced to put Decker at least barely in the top 10 to make their blatant anti-white agenda less obvious to the normally oblivious fans. Rivals.com=CaucasianRivals.com

Jake Williams - JR WR, Iowa State
Team high 5 catches for 61 yards and 1TD in ISU's loss to Kansas State.

Taylor Clements - SR WR, Arkansas State
4 catches for 69 yards in ASU's loss to Iowa.

Here are some more stats from this week.

Trey Stross - SR WR, Iowa 4 rec. for 64 yards and 1 TD in the Hawkeye's close win over Arkansas State.

Eric Decker - SR WR, Minnesota - 8 rec. for 140 yards and 1 TD in the Gopher's loss to Wisconsin.

Scotty McKnight - JR WR, Colorado - 9 rec. for 98 yarda and 1 TD against West Virginia on Thursday.

Ryan Whalen - JR WR, Stanford - 6 rec. 118 yards in Stanford's win against UCLA.

Alex Torres - JR WR, Texas Tech - 7 rec. for 61 yards and 1 TD in the rout of New Mexico.

Greg Salas - JR WR, Hawaii - 6 rec. for 122 yards in the loss to L.A. Tech.

Briggs Orsbon - SO WR, Ball State - 10 catches for 88 yards and 1TD in loss to Toledo.

The big white WR tandem at Idaho, consisting of Max Komar and Eric Greenwood, were the biggest factors in their upset win over Colorado State tonight. Max led all receivers with a whopping 12 catches for 151 yards and a TD, while Eric was just behind Max with 6 catches for 130 yards and 2 TDs. Great performances in a huge victory in Moscow!

Update for National leaders in the "Year of the White Receiver":

Eric Decker - 43 for 639 & 5 TDs (1st)
Greg Salas - 26 for 601 & 4 TDs (5th)
Jordan Shipley - 36 for 436 & 2 TDs (20th)
Ryan Wolfe - 36 for 420 & 1 TD (23rd)
Max Komar - 25 for 408 & 2 TDs (24th)
Blair White - 29 for 399 & 4 TDs (28th)
Kevin Jurovich - 28 for 388 & 0 TDs (29th)
Ryan Whalen - 22 for 378 & 2 TDs (T31st)
David Leonard - 38 for 363 & 1 TD (T38th)
Dennis Pitta - 26 for 339 & 3 TDs (49th)

Kerry Meier, Scotty McKnight, Brett Hamlin, Derek Moye, Dane Sanzenbacher, Austin Kelly, Cody Slate and Eric Greenwood are all withing 50 yards of the top 50.

*I would like to see Florida get Riley Cooper more involved in the offense again*

thanks for posting stats for some of these guys in my absence, fellas. my internet access is very limited these days. i'll catch up when i can, but in the meantime keep up the good work!

Pat Simonds - SR WR, Colgate
5 catches for team high 61 yards in Colgate's overtime victory over Princeton tonight.

That gives Simonds 31 catches on the season for 490 yards with 6TD.
He's rated in the top 30 draft eligible receivers.

Seems like a slow day for some of our favorites. Only 50 yds each for White and Decker. I'm glad Sanzenbacher finally got his first rec for 17 yds in the 4th quarter. Overrated Pryor is 5/13 so far, the defensive has been carrying him.

Briggs Orsbon - SO WR, Ball State - Game high 10 catches for 82 yards in Ball State's loss to Temple. Briggs now has 37 catches on the year. Unfortunately, Stan Parrish is the worst head coach at any level of football ever. He hasn't won a game since 1987.

Jake Williams - JR WR, Iowa State - Team high 7 catches for 58 yards in Iowa State's loss to Kansas

Kerry Meier - SR WR, Kansas - Game high 16 catches for 142 yards (both career highs) for 2TD in Kansas victory over Iowa State

Just imagine if Sanzenbacher actually had a QB to throw him the ball. From seeing the limited production out of him because of his black quarterback's inability to get anyone the ball to anyone consistently, I am convinced he could be another of our WR's putting up very good numbers. Ohio State is basically winning games without a passing game. With their defensive play, how good could they be if they actually had a real Quarterback instead of the fraud wearing number 2?Edited by: Bear Backer

Jordan Shipley has over a 100 yards and a touchdown ... in thefirst half.
smiley32.gif
in the same game, Colorado has thrown touchdowns to two different White tight ends.

also, we have a Riley Cooper sighting! 24-yard touchdown catch just before halftime.

Shipley has 129 receiving yards, 1 TD and he just added a 75 yard punt return score! game is still in progress.

It may not be much, but possible new starter Mike Shanahan had 2 rec. for 35 yards for Pitt in their win over UConn.

Also, Ryan Wolfe for UNLV has 5 rec. for 37 yards in the 2nd Quarter.
