Stats aren't working for the Stanford game right now, but an espn poster says Gerhart had a 63 yard TD run!

while he didnt actually have a 63 yard he does have 93 yards on 16 carries and two scores to his name already in the first half! Luck also threw an interception in the red zone, else Toby might have gotten a hat trick already! Owen Maracic and Whalen have two catches a piece btw.

Thats fantastic news backrow. What a talent. I think he'll be the first white running back to get some serious interest in the NFL Draft and be a first day pick in quite a few drafts. Where are you getting your stats btw, with espn's stats being down for me, and there posters being apparently unreliable I'm having trouble keeping up.

You can see some of the stats on the Stanford website, kre08. Toby had 18 runs for 94 yards and has 2 TDs in the game so far.

Some more good and bad for this week. Jersey Joe wasn't demoted after a so-so week one performance and a lousy game last week. Joe really showed his stuff this week. What a way to show up for Martinek!

Kevin Harris was already leading the team in yards per carry, but the no backbone weasel Demon Deacon coach still gave the majority of the carries to scrub Josh Adams. The stats:
Josh Adams: 11-25-2.3-1 TD
Willie Dixon: 7-21-3.0-0 TD
Brandon Pendergrass: 6-13-2.2-0 TD
Kevin Harris: 5-23-4.6-0 TD

After blowing Adams and Pendergrass away last year in efficiency and then saving Wake in their bowl game- Harris doubled Josh Adams and Pendergrass' YPC this last game and equaled Adam's longest run on less than half the carries.

Way to destroy a potential pro player's chances at the next level you a$$ clown coach!

Col., you can add Joe Gantz from Ohio State to the stat book. 1 rush for 1 yard. I'm glad to see Tressel throw Joe in there for the third year in a row. Bobby Bowden would never let a white walk-on RB suit up, much less ever take the field!

Who is the White tailback at U. Nevada Las Vegas? He wore # "1" and was doing great during the Thurdsay night ESPN game. He hit the line quickly and was faster than the many Negro defenders.

Luke Lippincott tore it up last night 23 rushes 114 yards way to bring it Luke also had one costly fumble near the goal line have to work on ball security Luke you might not get to many more chances to make mistakes.

He was also robbed of his rightful touchdown when Ault chose to put in a different back on the goal line, even though it was Luke who got them down the field.

Great news about Luke, despite the loss of a TD. I knew Luke still had it in him, but wasn't sure we'd get to see him show it again.

Robbie Frey got his first carries of the year in UConn's blowout of Rhode Island. In only 5 rushes he got 70 yards including TD runs of 54 and 13 yards. I wasn't even aware of this kid, but apparently he ran a 4.4 in high school at 6' 200 lbs.

Robbie has been getting scrap carries for a couple of seasons. Its nice that he got some decent runs today, but it will probably be the exception this season.

Frey might get a chance to be in the mix next year, since Andre Dixon is graduating. But it also looks like UC has another RB (Jordan Todman) who is only a sophomore and has seen lots of carries so far this year. Frey might get the ridiculous Kevin Harris type treatment.

BTW Harris continues to be third string, despite having the best career for a RB on the roster by a long-shot and being in his last year of eligibility. Is the UC coach another clown that will create the same fate for Frey?

Unlike the Harris situation though, this isn't as obvious a screwing of a player since Frey barely plays.
