Everyone thought Tye Fields would be the next white American superstar at heavyweight.  I was shocked when he got knocked out by Monte Barrett.  He might have a chance after the Klitschko's retire.    There is a ton of European fighters that will get titles though.  Too much talent in all the divisions for the Europeans to not succeed.

Getting back to football, Ricky Stanzi is playing like crap. He's thrown his 5th pick and isn't helping to open things up for Wegher at all. If Iowa loses this game, it's all on Ricky Stanzi. I don't care if it's windy, you can't throw 5 picks and expect to beat any FBS team, let alone a Big-10 rival.

Wegher finished the game with some nice runs. Quite a few people were praising him, partly because he was the reason why Iowa beat the spread, but it seemed to open up a few people's eyes about his talent. "That guy can run!"

Sharp looks to be back despite the coach saying he is still injured. Every player is nicked up throughout the season, I think he will be fine and should get a decent amount of carries.Edited by: dwid

Yeah, I think if Sharp gets close to 1,000 yards this year on around 5 YPC, he'll get a combine invite. After his good year last year, he should be able to get an invite- even if he couldn't play from here on- after a nagging injury like this. We all know the drill for the melanin challenged RB these days however. They want to keep Sharp out b/c he'll probably run around a high 4.3 or low 4.4 at the combine and help debunk the NFL's lies.

Luke Lippincott had a good game for Nevada today. He only got to carry the ball 14 times but he still ran for 84 yards. I really wish he would get to touch the ball more as he is a sensational runner. This is also his last season to try and convince the nfl scouts to give him an invite to the combine. This kid can fly!Edited by: white lightning

Jake Sharp comes in at number 24. Note that they list his 40 time at 4.44. What, did they scour the records to find the worst time that he ever ran and decided to go with that?

Wow, I haven't been paying attention. NFLDRAFTSCOUT has Trevyn Smith, from Weber State at number 47, which means he might be able to sign as an undrafted free agent for special teams duty with someone. He's had a rock-solid career, and also is shown with a slow 40 time, compared to what he has actually ran. It would be nice if he got a combine invite and was given the chance to make the afroletes look bad.

I love the new format Reb! I believe Dan Mulrooney of BC was moved to safety. Dan Persia is a backup running QB from Northwestern whose playing a lot today in place of the dinged up Mike Kafka. I would call Zac Robinson of Oklahoma State and Zach Collaros (spelling?) who has been filling in for Tony Pike running QBs also.

No problem Reb! Jake Sharp has to petition the NCAA for another year of eligibility. He has almost no chance of making a roster in the NFL if he finishes his senior season like this with his leg injury. He needs a 1,000 yard season and a combine invite to have a chance of making an NFL roster- being he's a white RB. I'll be depressed if BOTH Gerhart and Sharp are gone from college next year.

Vince Murray is making mince meat of the Notre Dame defense. He has 158 yards and a TD on just 13 carries with over 4 minutes to go!

Not to mention Teich with over 10 ypc! I wonder if Charlie Weiss will keep refusing to recruit white RBs like Brandon Wegher after getting torched by Navy's white RBs?

Or stop turning them into linebackers, like he did with Steve Paskorz, a beastly, record setting RB from Western Pennsylvania.

He must have seen something in Paskorz that made him switch him.  After all no white runningback can have the complete package of skills.  He is either fast in a straight line but has no hip swivel or numerous other excuses.  Nfldraftscout is making excuses about Gerhart already.  He supposedly "may not have the speed for the NFL."

Sausan Shakerin - 16c 100yds 1TD in Utah's blowout victory over new Mexico. He wasn't the leader rusher for Utah. But hopefully this will show his racist coach that he shouldn't be moved to WR or Fullback.

Thanks y'all. I just updated the stats from the late games last nigh. Hopefully Luke Lippincott will get 10 carries or more and have a great game tonight.

Luke Lippincott already has 7 carries for 75 yards and one td, a little over 10 ypc, its halftime. Seems like the carries are close to being evenly split.

Of course the announcers gave him no credit and instead said it was all the oline. Also I noticed a new phrase given to White players, I dont know if anyone has mentioned it here or not. "he doesn't do anything fancy" What does that even mean? Luke was making quit cuts and outrunning defenders, what would he have to do to be considered "fancy"?Edited by: dwid
