I still think Lynch has a chance in Denver to be the viable long term starter. It all depends on how they work with him and develop him. Siemian has turned out to be a real pleasant surprise, I really enjoy watching him play and he throws one of the prettiest balls in the league. My guess is they move on from Siemian and probably flip him for a 2nd/3rd round pick in a year or two and hand over the reigns to Lynch. Elway seems to be pretty invested in Lynch. I still think it is a shame Kubiak had to retire due to health concerns as he would of really done wonders for Lynch due to his reputation as a QB guru.
Rodgers sat for three years in Green Bay - McCarthy is a very good QB coach and developed and worked with Rodgers to become a quality replacement for Farve.
Palmer sat for a year behind Kitna and it no doubt helped him long term.
Rivers sat for two years behind Brees.
Personally, I like Chad Kelly as the long-term solution. Like Siemian, he was a seventh round pick, but that's only because the Caste media beat his reputation into the ground and was able to convince scouts and general managers that he had "character issues" after a relatively minor incident that involved getting into a fight with bouncers at some bar (which was probably routine behavior (resulting in no arrests) in the NFL 35-40 years ago (and still routine behavior today (or worse) by the NFL's precious affletes)). He ultimately pled guilty to disorderly conduct and served 50 hours of "community service", but that's all the Caste media needed as they are always looking for ways to deny White players the opportunity to play at the next level, especially with their blatant agenda to promote as many black quarterbacks into the league as possible.
While playing college ball, Kelly had a
"don't give two sh*ts" kind of attitude at Ol' Miss and played very aggressive, always attacking the defenses, which I think served him well. He beat Alabama, Auburn, and LSU in the same season, which means he has the confidence to excel under pressure. But, just as a leopard cannot change his spots, the Caste media will always be scrutinizing him based upon that one incident. He would have to play almost mistake-free in order to escape their wrath.
It should be an interesting QB battle next year in Denver during the off-season. If Siemian continues to play like he currently has, it's a mute point as to whom the future starting QB will be, and he will become a very rich man, but if Kelly shows up well in the off-season, next year could be Lynch's last with Denver and declared a "bust" by the Caste media as, I believe, that will be the end of his contract.
