With all the divisive talk about BQBDS lately, I thought it might be nice for a change to discuss something that can unite us, White Quarterback Derangement Syndrome (WQBDS). WQBDS is common among DWFs and especially media talking heads and self-proclaimed football "gurus." Symptoms include, but are not limited to:

- DFWs of a team with a talented White QB who has the potential to be great with the right coaching calling him "terrible" and constantly shrieking for him to be replaced (almost always by a non-white QB). Bears DWFs were particularly egregiously guilty of this with Mitch Trubisky.

- Management mistreating a talented White QB and running him out of town, typically to the cheers of the local DWFs, only for said QB to find success elsewhere (Baker Mayfield, Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold, etc.)

- When a White QB is so good his talent can't be denied, accusing him of being a "cheater" or some other nonsense (many DWFs did this to Tom Brady).

- Blaming a White QB when his defense chokes (Peyton Manning in the Broncos' playoff game against the Ravens) or keeps choking year after year (Josh Allen having to constantly score 40 points a game to bail out the Bills' defense).

- Labeling a White QB a career "choker" based on one incident (Tony Romo is the best example of this).

- Scapegoating a White QB for all his team's failures, failing to take into account crap defense, lack of good receivers, a poor and often sumo-heavy offensive line, bad coaching, etc.

- In the draft, being obsessed with things like height, hand size, and 40-yard dash times which have little to no correlation with how well a QB will perform in the NFL, and only ever using those traits against White players (the big deal made over six-footer Drew Brees' height, while 5'8" Kyler Murray was given a free pass).

- The controlled media ignoring talented White QBs in the draft, resulting in them being drafted much later than they should have (Riley Leonard, Kurtis Rourke, and Quinn Ewers are three examples from this year's draft alone) - or sometimes not being drafted at all when they certainly should have been.

- Writing off a White QB after a very short period of time, only to be proven wrong when said QB gets much better very quickly afterward (Jared Goff).

- With dual-threat White QBs, the most hated of all QBs and perhaps the most hated of all athletes by the Caste System, management of different teams colluding to blackball them from the league. Two words. Tim. Tebow.

These things only seem to happen to White QBs. While obviously anti-white racism is involved, in an ironic twist WQBDS may also be influenced by latent anti-black racism among smug leftists and self-righteous NeverTrumper cuckservatives (most sufferers of WQBDS fall into one of those two political categories). People afflicted with WQBDS tend to be unathletic, nerdy guys who were jealous of White athletes in high school and project that resentment onto White NFL players. They generally don't project that onto black players because they see blacks as otherkin and therefore don't view them as "competition."

Essentially, sufferers of WQBDS cannot show respect to a White QB under any circumstances and will label all White QBs as "bad" or "cheaters." And I can say with great confidence that among the general population, WQBDS is far, far, far more common than its opposite cousin BQBDS.

Feel free to add more examples of WQBDS. And let's have some fun with this and mock those who are afflicted with this disease, for they deserve to be mocked.

- Labeling a White QB a career "choker" based on one incident (Tony Romo is the best example of this).
In hindsight maybe Romo deserved all of the indignation thrown his way. It was just in advance of his atrocious stint as a network color man. He is simply gawdawful.

-Claiming a White QB was “lucky” or “carried” by his team after he wins games so as to not give him any credit for his victories. The WQBDS narratives surrounding Brady’s entire career and Elway’s two Super Bowl rings epitomize this symptom. As well as Peyton Manning’s two rings.

I really think WQBDS is just a part of White Athlete Derangement Syndrome (WADS). Which in my opinion is a side effect of the caste system creating an inferiority complex in the minds of afflicted White people. So when they see a White athlete, they immediately fly into a rage. “Wait, I thought all Whites were inferior athletes, it wasn’t just me?” The other reaction is just to deny or ignore the prowess of White athletes even as it stares them in the face.

A lot of these WADS sufferers project their own failings onto other Whites in general, but especially White athletes, as a way to cope with their own inadequacies. Misery loves company and these miserable losers want the entire White race to join them in their suffering.

Best thing to do is combat these narratives on social media. I’ve said it many times but people on this site should get Twitter accounts and we should all follow each other, **** post, attack the social media accounts of sports media, draft “experts”, gatekeeper draft events (shrine/senior bowl). Advocate for White athletes on social media as well. So far no one has joined up, followed me etc.

White derangement syndrome transfers to sports especially America's number one pro sport.

FD, Romo's simply horrific. What made coaches Madden and Gruden special was they saw everything on the field, without the need of replay. Madden could spot a holding call before the refs, while watching all 22 players on the field. Same with Gruden. Both knew rosters from top to bottom. Madden and Gruden, for example, could talk in decent detail about white (or black) RB's and WR's just promoted from practice squads.

Romo has no idea who most of the backups are -- black or white, let alone practice squad elevations. Nantz is on his own, in that respect. J.J. Watt is much closer to Madden/Gruden. I've been super impressed by him.

Baseball equivellent of Madden and Gruden is Joe Girardi. He simply runs circles around everyone else, but is relegated to doing a few dozen Yankee games per season. Todd Frazier is baseball's version of Tony Romo. Although, Frazier has been demoted by ESPN and does shine doing Little League games.

Great post Gator Dad, I agree 100 percent. One omission, however: Will Howard. Won a national title at Ohio State. Has better than average NFL size (height and bulk combined). More than adequate arm strength and is a very nimble athlete. If he were black, I think those same traits would've translated into him being a high first round pick.

Love the definition and examples. Can we get this added to Merriam-Webster?!
