Jake Johnson -- This Virginia Tech athlete was an absolute STUD in his first career start which was against Alabama. He has tatoos and plays with abandon.

He has a non-steroidal athletic build and can flatout wrap-up the ball carrier. Only a Sophomore.

Ryan Reynolds looked good for OU. I really hope he doesn't get injured again.

Galippo looked pretty good for USC. He's probably one of the few USC players not on steroids.

Those are the only 3 games I watched, so that's all for now.

I know Nebraska starts 3 really good white LBs, giving them a snow patrol. Sean Fisher and Will Compton are both just redshirt freshmen. Mathew May is a sophomore.

From looking at the stats, I wonder if Jake Johnson was demoted (or if he's just banged up?). I think Beamer may have done something, because Jake should have gotten more than 4 tackles against run-heavy Georgia Tech:

I know the kid doesn't have a big frame, but he's a good athlete and tackler.

We don't talk about Maryland's Alex Wujciak enough! It looks like he got hurt against Duke (only 1 tackle). I really hope it isn't serious.

Joe Pawelek(75 tackles)

Huldon Tharp(34 tackles)

He's been playing well.

You certainly have to be fluid and athletic to sack Jacory Harris twice.

Jacory Harris has run a sub 4.3 before. I'm not sure if it was hand-timed by coaches or if it was electronic, but he is very fast either way.

Alex Wujciak is healthy!!

14 tackles - and a 70 yard interception return for a TD! 92 tackles now for the season!

One of the most amazing and instinctive athletes that NO ONE talks about.

Great for Alex! Maryland is one team I have never had any interest in, but this kid is doing great on a very caste team.

I think Alex has been at Maryland for 4 years now. I hope he enters the Draft. He's NFL ready.

In other news, Huldon Tharp got 9 more tackles for Kansas. He'll probably make a Big 12 All-Freshman team.

Yesterday:

Luke Kuechly - 13 tackles and 1 sack

Huldon Tharp - 13 tackles

Alex Wujciak - 12 tackles

Wujciak and Kuechly are both over 100 tackles for the season. Huldon Tharp now has a very good 56 tackles for the season!

Steve Greer is a freshman (RS I believe), and he's leading the Virginia Cavaliers' in tackles for the season. I really had very little reason to watch quotabacked Virginia this season, so I didn't even know about this linebacker!

Yeah, BC played Virginia the other week, but none of my TV channels were showing it.

Boston College defeated Maryland 19-17:

Luke Kuechly: 16 tackles! (142 tackles for this true freshman!)

Alex Wujciak: 12 tackles

I think people are waking up. Rivals only rated Luke 3-stars and said he was the 37th best player in Ohio, but users have given Luke a 4.64 rating.

In ACC play, Kuechly averaged a remarkable 13.25 tackles per game.

That has to rank him very high amongst ACC linebackers. WOW!

Kuechly is very humble.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4UNuuOA3dk

He lets his play do the talking.

Top OLB Prospects 2010 NFL Draft Update #2 WARNING: Loud cRAP music.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkNI3qWRtMg

I would say that "DraftWarriors" is Caste, but they don't seem totally anti-White (they added Benoist and Josh Hull to this Update; 2 White athletes that weren't in the original OLB video).

I posted this video because it's somewhat interesting. Outside of Greg Jones, Curran and Schofield (and I'm hesitant to list Bowman as a Top LB), there's pretty much AVERAGE black linebackers. If some of the Junior blacks return next year and have huge seasons, then I can't say anything, but I'm certainly not sold on them right now.

A.J. Edds is in this video, with him listed as having 64 tackles at that point (he finished the season with 72 tackles and added 4 picks; Picks aren't mentioned in the video). His tackle-total is the lowest amongst the Whites in this video. Of course, there's no doubt that Karl Klug and Angerer were absolute beasts.

I probably could find a couple of Draft-eligible White linebackers, that have similar numbers to some of the blacks in the video, but aren't featured in the video themselves.
