Van Persie has a contract with Arsenal until June 2013, so unless they get an offer for him they can't refuse (ManU was rumored to be interested), he'll stay in Arsenal. It's going to be a team to watch in PL next year.

he decided not to sign a new contract, that means that he will probably leave before the next season:

great for giroud and for him since both will probably play as titular in a big club this way
i think that giroud would have been a substitute if van persie would have stayed (but nothing is done yet)

Van Persie imo is one of the best forwards in Europe,definately top 5.Man City are the rumoured leaders in the race for his signature.If he signs with them hopefully it will push Balotelli out of the lineup as Van Persie's without question the better player.

but balotelli will still play because he is more expansive than these 2
