[Jimmy Chitwood]

Rutgers cornerback Anthony Cioffi has now been moved to a more racially-appropriate role and is now their starting free safety. despite the move, Cioffi continues his ballhawking ways. he had 7 tackles (6 solo) and 3 pass break-ups in the Scarlet Knights' loss to Washington State after snaring an interception in their season-opener.

BYU sophomore Micah Hanneman looked MUCH more comfortable in his second game starting as the field corner for the Cougars. his stat line, while seemingly insignifcant, is much more in line with what a good cornerback's should look like: 1 solo tackle, especially compared to last week's performance.

a week ago against Nebraska, he had 6 tackles (4 solo) and the leaping interception above, but he looked overwhelmed in his first start. the tackles were a result of him being hesitant in breaking on the ball, which resulted in his giving up several easy short catches, and he was weak and undisciplined against the run. he gave up the edge on a handful of occasions, which turned into big gains for Nebraska, and he didn't take on blocks, instead trying to dance around and avoid them.

it looks like he was coached up during the week, as he made a BIG improvement in both areas against the Broncos.

this week, he was much more disciplined in coverage, and he kept contain when defending against the run (unlike last week). he was also MUCH more physical in his second outing, as seen in the picture below where he knocked the ball loose from Boise's Chaz Anderson.

after looking for ways to avoid contact against the Huskers, he readily attacked blockers in the running game, forcing the ball carriers back inside, and he wasn't afraid to "man up" on the outside in coverage. he was even called for a very questionable pass interference, which i viewed as a positive despite the penalty. he wasn't willingly ceding position to the opposing wideouts this week, and he was fighting to beat them to their spot.

with his athletic ability, he has the potential to be an outstanding player. and if his progress between week 1 and week 2 is any indication, he's willing to improve. he's one to keep an eye on.

The threads listed above were all either in the NFL section or the college section. I wanted one overarching thread to include information on white cornerbacks from all levels, high school, college and pro. That's why I started a new thread and put it in the Happy Hour section.

Kenny Buyers, the best defensive back on the North Texas roster (and one of the most underrated corners in the country) appears to be out for the year after suffering a back injury in the preseason. that's sad news for a terrific football player who was finally beginning to get some much-deserved recognition for his ability.

BYU sophomore Michael Hannemann has played better every game this season. against Michigan, he gave up only one completion, a highlight-reel catch that i'll post below in which he was in good position but was simply beaten by a superb effort. otherwise, he was a complete White-out to the opposition, including breaking up 2 passes in beautiful fashion. he played strong in run support, as well, tying for the team lead with Wadsworth with 10 tackles (5 solo). he played through an injury much of the second half, and ended up leaving the game with a couple minutes left. it remains to be seen if he will play tonight against UConn.

A couple of years ago a white cornerback named Donny Lisowski played well in the preseason for the Seahawks.

He was cut anyway and never got another opportunity.

Lisowski ran a 4.38 40 at his pro day so he was definitely fast enough to play cornerback in the NFL.

One of the narratives advanced by the anti-whites is that white men are too slow to play cornerback.

Josh Norman of the Panthers is considered to be a good cornerback. He ran a 4.66 40 at the combine, which is slow for a cornerback. Yet he is successful.

Many white men run faster than Norman. There are many white men athletic enough to play cornerback in the NFL.

The only reason there are no white cornerbacks in the NFL is racism, pure and simple.

Here's a video which briefly discusses why there are no white cornerbacks in the NFL. It sort of touches on the real reason there aren't but not very strongly. The reason is blatant racial discrimination.

Stan Smagala was a white cornerback who was discriminated against because he was white. He had a successful career as a cornerback at Notre Dame. He was successful against some of the best wide receivers in college ball, some of whom became good NFL players. He had high end athleticism with an RAS of 9.71.

He was drafted in round 5 of the 1990 draft by the Cowboys who converted him to safety, even though he was only 184 pounds. He had a short, injury plagued career playing out of position at safety.

Even though Smagala had the skills and athleticism to play cornerback in the NFL. He was not allowed to do so because he's a white man.

Lurkers take note. White men are not allowed to play cornerback in the NFL even when they are capable of doing so! It is forbidden for them to do so!

There are many examples of this. Ohio State's Dustin Fox is another example. He had high end athleticism, was successful on the college level and was never given a chance at the pro level and was forced to play out of position at safety.

EP, I had a good friend during Stan Smagala's collegiate days that was a huge Notre Dame fan. He always used to talk about how dominate Stan was in college. At that point (early 1990's), I followed the NFL a bit, but did not watch college ball at all. With all my friend's praise of Smagala's college exploits, I remember trying to follow his NFL career after he was drafted by Dallas. But he flamed out so quickly in the NFL that it's almost like he never existed, from my perspective?

About a year ago I searched for info on Stan's short NFL career, but I simply could not find much, other than uber-Caste whore Jimmy Johnson was fairly high on him, trading several latter round picks (was a 12 round draft then) to move up in round 5 to select him. It would not surprise me if Smagala's NFL career was scuttled by the Cowboys attempt to move him to safety, but there is very little info on the Net regarding his brief NFL career.

Since I've been watching the NFL closely, the best "potential" NFL cornerback prospect was probably Appalachian States Matt Stevens. Prior to the 1995 college season he was being touted as a potential first round pick by several legit publications, despite playing at DI-AA school. Also, NFL scouts (BLESTO) had him as a first round pick going into his senior season, but listed him as a "DB" not a "CB". Per my recollection, Stevens never (or barely) played as a senior, after suffering a ACL tear.

Despite missing his senior year, Stevens was amazingly drafted in round 3 by the Buffalo Bills, who swiftly moved him to strong safety. He simply was not big enough to play strong safety, so early in his career he was suspended for steroid usage -- no doubt to gain weight to play safety. Stevens did have a decent and fairly long NFL career, but whenever he got a chance to start, he was one of the most despised players in the league. Constantly taking a beating from DWF's and the Marxist media -- sort of like Chris Conte was treated.

From what I've read, Steven's has had a very rough life. Shortly after leaving the NFL he was paralyzed (at age 34) from the waist down in a motorcycle accident. Through modern technology, he's regained some mobility, but he's still in tough shape.

As far as Dustin Fox is concerned, I wrote extensively about him and other white cornerbacks in this post last September. Suffice it to say, Fox is very up front and vocal about his NFL career being sabotaged due to race. Keep in mind, however, Fox had the huge misfortune of going to the Vikings when Mike Tice was their head coach. As bad as Jack Del Rio was/is, his good buddy Tice was probably a much bigger Caste-slut!

In addition to making racist comments toward Fox and apparently threatening to kill him, Whitehead earlier in the season slapped Patriots center David Andrews in a game. Like Fox Andrews is white.

It looks like there's a good white cornerback prospect this year from Cornell named David Jones. He tested out well during his "virtual" pro day. He deserves a shot. 40 yd dash 4.40,
broad jump 10'00, 20 yd ss, 6.69 and 3 cone 4.00. These are all good scores.

Cornell had a promising white cornerback prospect in David Jones. He had years of quality play and tested out to have high end athleticism. He wasn't drafted. He has not even been signed to a team as a free agent. as far as I can find out.

Does anyone have any information if he has been signed or even had a tryout?
