Off the top of my head I can't think of to many viable free agent options. The Panthers just signed Zack Miller.

Maybe they bring back Jake Bequette?

Osweiler just had a really nice drive and a perfect TD pass. It's bittersweet to see him play so well and knowing that Peyton Manning an all time great is on his way out.

Amendola may be back next week and Edelman will be back by the playoffs, but losing Gronk would be very hard to overcome as far as winning the Super Bowl again.

But then again, Brady's as good or better than ever, and New England has a good defense for once.

After Denver's last two TDs, including the game winner, NBC quickly cuts to -- who else? -- Rob Ninkovich, the Patriots' only White defensive player. Cultural communists are nothing if not predictable.

If necessary lie to me, but please someone remember a time when someone as tough as Gronk was carted off and it wasn't season ending? I can't take this crap anymore, the patriots offense was the only team to get excited about. Now they are only left with Brady and Chandler. What a kick in the nuts this has been.

Maybe that time is now:

ESPN's Dianna Marie Russini reports Rob Gronkowski's knee injury is "not as bad as it looked." ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Gronk's injury "doesn't appear to be serious." Gronk rolled on the ground in pain immediately after the injury, but he was seen walking with only a mild limp in the locker room. We'd still consider Gronk a long shot for Week 13, but he may not be facing an extended absence. The likely hope is that Gronkowski suffered a hyperextension of his knee.

Carting off can be a precautionary measure. I'd prefer Gronk get carted off then for him to look tough walking to the locker room potentially worsening his injury.

When I saw Gronk stand up and bend/stretch his injured knee several times before sitting on the cart, I had a little hope that he didn’t actually sustain any ligament damage. Also, I was clinging to the fact that his leg was "whippped" in mid-air (usually causing a sprain), and wasn't planted on the turf. Thankfully, it seems like it was merely a severe sprain/bruise/hyper-extension. The game’s best offensive player allegedly walked out of the stadium without crutches, assistance from trainers, or much of a limp. It seems as if the big fella should be OK in a few weeks. Here’s some encouraging footage of him walking around the locker room last night…

Gronk is only 69 yards from another 1,000-yard season. It’s not inconceivable that he’ll return and get the required yardage in the final weeks, but if he’s not 100%, keeping your best player out until the playoffs makes sense.

Despite the fact that I loathe the Denver Blackos, I’m actually not too upset about the Pats losing this game. The added pressure of an undefeated season isn’t something an injury-riddled, defending Superbowl champion team needs. As long as they secure the #1 seed, home field advantage, and Gronk/Edelman/Amendola return to full strength, I’ll feel better about their chances in the AFC.

I dont understand how the steelers defense that held Dalton in check weeks ago allowed Dungbeetle Wilson to throw over 300 yards and 5 TDs.

Missed tackles and blown coverages. It was a piss poor defensive performance.

NFL affletes can be very fickle when it comes to motivation. Last week the 49ers defense was a disgrace against Seattle; the number of missed tackles was staggering. It looked like many of them couldn't be bothered to even fake trying. Yesterday against Arizona, SF's defense played well. What was the difference? Who knows, but they get paid the same amount for every game so they should give one hundred percent effort at all times. A pipedream, I know.

Two of those TD drives came off turnovers and another was the 80 yard catch and run.

Upset about the loss but it will fire up and motivate the Pats even more. Add fuel to the fire. This group will respond. They just need to get some healthy bodies back on offense to help Tom Brady. His performance last night showed again to the world that he just may be the greatest qb we have ever seen. Keep it up TB!

I'm not watching the Bills game but I noticed a White player sighting on Fat Rex's coal black defense. AJ Tarpley has a tackle and a sack. This is a minor miracle.

Pig rewarded Tarpley by cutting him today.

Watching the Pats I saw them send Gronk toward the middle on some short slant route and I know the DB was trying to get his knee. It just wasn't quite planted when the DB hit Gronk.

Dumb play call I think. High risk low reward.

You gotta protect your assets. And Gronk is about all they have left right now.

Today at the Pro Football Researchers Association Forum there's a long thread lamenting the low quality of play and poor defense in particular.

Tirico keeps talking about the Ravens defense and how they need a pass rush. The typical narrative I hear year in and year out about the Ravens during the draft and offseason is how amazing Ozzie Newsome is at finding great talent and having supposedly great players fall into their laps over the course of the the draft. It looks like Ozzie's penchant for finding "good"football players (always on defense and usually SEC players) has run out with the very bad defense they are fielding right now.

Manziel or no the Browns are not a bad team to watch. They got Hartline and Barnidge involved, a couple of guys on D, some o-lineman. Go Browns.

Worthless ass Bowe and his 9 million wasted dollar contract on the sidelines. And a last minute TD to tie it up with the 3rd string QB.

Baltimore also. Due to injury they had 4 White o-linemen starting, and used 3 different White TEs and a White FB who plays a lot of snaps. Throw in Matt Schaub and they were as White as New England on offense and Cleveland was almost as White. The Ravens also have WR Michael Campanaro, who was looking good before he was injured earlier in the season.

DE Brent Urban made the block of the field goal attempt that was returned for the game winning TD. He was a third round pick in '14 who was on IR all last season and IR designated to return this season and saw his first action tonight. He's tall, lean and talented, if he stays healthy could be a starter next year if his racial apprenticeship is shortened.

Unbelievable. According to the buffalo dwfs Tarpley was the sole reason for their defense giving up big plays. They said he was awful, but the other afleets on defense get no blame. Pig Rex needed a scapegoat like trying to blame the refs and replay. Hopefully Tarpley who had a good collegiate career at Stanford goes to the Pats.
