It is really refreshing to see the regression of one Vince one hit wonder Young. I knew he wasn't a starting caliber qb in this leauge, but like everything else in the NFL teams beleive they can take the brotha and make him a qb. I mean he can't throw. He can't read defenses and he can't out run NFL defensive players so in effect you have a big hindrance at the most important position on the feild. I mean this is LOL funny, and to think last year he won rookie of the year. It's just freaking amazing the stupidity of the whites pandering to the negroe afflete.Edited by: White Power

You are right about the Madden covers: Culpepper, Vick, McNabb ... all big losers. Hall of Famers like Manning, Brady and Favre need not apply.

If there was a Madden boxing game, is there any doubt that Chris Byrd or Shannon Briggs would be glowering on the cover instead of Klitschko or Ibragimov?

Shockingly enough, the Titans managed to make the playoffs. This team is really bad, even for these parity-fixed- watered down-Caste dominated times. Even the announcers had to acknowledge afterwards, without chuckling, that this playoff team only had NINE TD passes all season. Obviously, Young is the main reason behind that, but as always, despite his pathetic numbers, "all he does is win."

I've actually heard some media clowns telling the truth about Vince Young (after the constant string of lucky - winning stopped). How on earth is this guy in the league (and drafted so highly)? The saddest fact is, T. Jackson makes Young look amazing by comparison!

Ancient Kerry Collins came in the game last night and they instantly moved the ball (with the Titans horrible WR's). WTF would the Titans continue to start Young? If he plays, I'm positive they'll lose to SD in the playoffs.

I predict he gets "injured" during the playoff game and Collins gets all the backlash from the loss. Haha, this is gunna be funny. Can you imagine how "lucky" the Titans would be with Billy Volek starting?

I asked some friends today whether they'd start Kerry Collins or Vince Young in the playoffs.

With only one exception, they all said Young. I said 'he's only thrown 9 touchdowns this year.'

'But,' they say, 'he has the intangibles. He's a leader. He wins games. He is a better athlete.'

'Well, who's the better quarterback?' says I. 'Well, Young brings more to the table than just his throwing arm. He can run the ball in, he can get those first downs by scrambling.'

I said 'But Collins has at least been to the Super Bowl. Who give your team the best chance of actually winning in the playoffs?'

'Well,' they said, 'Young is a winner, who's proven it on the field this year. He is young, he's raw, but he has talent.'

The lone exception to this conversation said he'd start Collins against San Diego and Young against Pittsburgh because of the different style of defenses they play. I didn't bother to point out the differences in the playbook that the two quarterbacks would have at their disposal, building timing in the receiving game, etc.

All this despite the fact that they admitted that Young probably wasn't hurt and took himself out of the game.

i almost fell off the chair laughing at that little piece from nfl.com: players to watch in wild card games:

"TENNESSEE TITANS
Vince Young, QB
Vince Young, QB
Tennessee Titans
2007 Statistics
Pass yds: 2,546
TD passes: 9
Interceptions: 17
Completion pct.: 62.3
Passer rating: 71.1
You can throw out the statistics when it comes to Vince Young, one of the most dynamic players in the NFL and a threat to do something special every time the football is in his hands. Young doesn't have to throw for 300 yards or run for 100 every week. In less than two full seasons as the Titans' starting quarterback, he has established himself as a field leader who raises the level of his team's play. Young led the Titans to eight wins as a rookie in 2006, doubling their win total from the previous year. He said his main goal for '07 was getting the team to the postseason. Mission accomplished, and now it's on to the next goal. Of course, Young thrives in the spotlight, as evidenced in his MVP performance in the 2005 BCS Championship game in which he led Texas to an amazing comeback win over USC."

Wow- unbelievable. And the reason why Rex Grossman didn't "lead" his team to the Super Bowl, with much better stats?

So "you can throw out the statistics" according to this a article about Vince Young because he is a proven winner and field general, but Eli Manning who statistically speaking is far better than Vince Young gets no such consideration. I don't really care for the Chargers but I hope they embarrass and expose Vince for the fraud QB he is. Wouldn't it be nice if they put Kerry Collins in during the 2nd half and he leads them to victory. Not likely to happen because the Chargers are the better team but one can hope.Edited by: guest301

It my position that Young will start the game and when things go bad, as I'm sure they will, his "injury" will act up again. He's a quitter.

Redskins fans are breathing a sigh of relief that Jason Campbell is still injured and can't play today, thus ensuring that Todd Collins will start and the Skins will actually have a chance to win. It's truly amazing that some people here in DC actually think that Campbell should get the nod against Seattle if he were healthy.

Titans' fans can only hope that Young gets hurt, whether real, feigned, or imagined, and Kerry Collins will get a chance to play.

In the playoff LOSS to the Chargers, Vince (All He Does is Win) Young was 16 for 29 for 138 yards, 0 touchdowns and 1 interception. His QB rating was 53.5. He also ran twice for 12 yards. Will he continue to be hyped as the next great QB? Anyone know what the bloggers are saying about him after his "great" playoff performance? Is anyone calling for him to be replaced or are they rushing to make excuses for his poor performance as a QB?

It was all I could do to keep my dinner in while watching Vick, I mean Vince Young. God does he suck. And I'm glad because Jeff Fisher is a Caste Pimp. I hope they leave Michael, I mean Vince Young in there long enough to cost the coach and team manager their jobs. This guy Michael Vick, I mean Vince Young may suck more than " Slash" Stewart!

I was watching the NFL Network and its obligatory all-black announcing crewcommenting on the Titans-Raiders game. The one said to Jamie Dukes (paraphrasing), "It looks like Vince Young's footwork wasn't very good." Dukes brushed that off saying, "Vince Young is a playmaker, which means his feet are in constant motion. Jamarcus Russell is a passer, while Young is always ready to take off down the field, which means his feet are always moving."

You can tell the Caste announcers are now enamored of Russellafterhe achieved the feat of not lookingterrible in the very simplistic offensive scheme the Raiders used last night. The Caste clowns arealways looking for their Great Black Hopes at QB even as one by one they always either stink or are injury prone.

You are correct Don they hate Tom Brady and the likes of him, but here is the harsh reality for all of those looking for the next great quarterback. Let them find the first one then I'll be concerned. Their has never been a black super star at the quarterback position, and there never will be for that matter. The position is a thinking mans position more than athletic mans position so the black will never ever play it it as well as the white man. They can promote whom ever they want as the next great one however when reality sets in most of the blacks will be abysmal failures at the position. Their promoting Vince Young because of what exactly he can't hit the braod side of a barn from 10 yards away. In time they will all fade away into an existance of what might had been could of been if only I could throw the ball under pressure. Don the fact is quarterback is the most important position and if you want to win a white must play the position for your team at the pro level that my freind is an undeniable fact.

Warren Moon was a superstar quarterback. Donovan McNabb has been limited by injuries, not by ability.

To say that no black quarterback can succeed is the flip side of what proponents of the Caste System argue -- that because blacks are faster on average no whiteis capable ofbeing a running back, wide receiver or cornerback. The fact that whites on averagehave an advantage in some of the abilities needed to play quarterback doesn't mean that no black can ever successfully play the position.

The difference is that the Caste System is constantly recruiting and trying to develop blacks at every football position (except kicker which "doesn't count"), which is why we see so many incompetent black quarterbacks, while systematically denying whites an opportunity at most positions.

Without football's institutionalized affirmative action no one can say exactly what the racial breakdown of I-A and the NFL would be. There would be black quarterbacks, but probably few. There would be more whites at every position; for example I believe whites are demonstrably better wide receivers than blacks just as they are showing at the tight end position despite the constraints of the Caste System. The NFL might be 75 to 80 percent or more white without its current racial spoils system, but the only way to find out is through a level playing field.Edited by: Don Wassall

Warren Moon and Donovan Mc Nabb are the best they ever had proves my point. How many others Don have come to the alter of the quarterback position only to be denied compentancy because they lack the necssary skills to play the part.Moon was an above average quarterback but a super star no way. Mc Nabb was the best from a draft class that included to very big time busts. He has never been consistant and at times looks as if he is the worse person playing the position so the fact remains that they will never catch the white man at the position period.

I totally agree with Don. It is silly to say that no blacks are good QBs. That would just fuel our opponents to say our site is hypocritical. I actually feel that blacks would make up slightly more than their 13% membership of the U.S population at NFL QB, if selected by merits. This is because their are few Chinese or Mestizo QBs, whether it be from lack of interest or their smaller stature. I would venture to say that their would be about 4 or 5 starting black QBs in the NFL and overall about 13-20% black at the position, with whites making up almost all the rest of the 80-87% left. College QB would be "slightly" blacker than the NFL, because running QBs excel more at the lower levels.

We had a thread on this a while ago. However, I will do my estimates again. If just between black and white, this is my estimate of how the NFL would break down:
Offense>
QB: 85% white/ 15% black
RB: 60% white/ 40% black
FB: (Would get more carries if fair) 80% white/ 20% black
WR: 70% white/ 30% black
TE: 80% white/ 20% black
OT: 85% white/ 15% black
OG: 85% white/ 15% black
OC: 90% white/ 10% black

Defense>
DE: 80% white/ 20% black
DT: 80% white/ 20% black
OLB: 70% white/ 30% black
MLB: 80% white/ 20% black
SS: 65% white/ 35% black
FS: 60% white/ 40% black
CB (speed is vital to this position):40% white/ 60% black

Kicker/ Punter: We all know only whites play these positions, but who really cares!

overall the league would be about 75% white/ 25% black. Or about how the league was in the early to mid 1960s.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

What reasoning are you using for your breakdown by position, Riggins? How do you justify 80% white at TE, for example, and not 40%? Why 40% black at RB and not 10%?

i dont know about 40 percent white at cornerback, if you say that there wouldnt be more than 40 percent of whites fast enough for it, it seems that wide receivers are becoming taller and stronger, its becoming more physical and less about short speedsters, its harder to disrupt the more physical wr's at the line of scrimmage, so naturally you would need stronger and more physical cornerbacks, which i think whites are perfectly suited for, id say more like 60% white and 40 % black, or maybe even 70 % white, but i would be happy if the nfl was at least 50/50, that would be the closest we could realistically get. The media would consider it racist that there are more whites than blacks in the league even though there are more whites than blacks in the usa
