Loma toyed with B level fighter and got the KO. The opponent's corner stopped the fight. What a fighter Loma is!

Ha! Ha! Another quits on his stool. That's 3 in a row of quitters for Loma. 2 knockdowns and a dance of tricks and whacks the show is over. Obviously the most skilled boxer alive.

Loma looked great again with the 7th round TKO. I wouldn't mind seeing a little less showboating and clowning around. Though that is part of how he demoralizes his opponent and was getting in his head, I know. But again he was utterly dominant and looked fantastic.

Loma never gets into any patterns that his opponents can work against. He gets these guys so dizzy, tired, confused and exhausted they want out. He's like a bullfighter.

When he puts on a show at least he doesn't do it to mock his opponents and they know it.

Loma understands boxing like Brady knows football. His mental abilities are beyond compare with anyone. He thinks so fast and has a counter position or strike to everything. Even if/when others copy his moves, that mental ability has to start to be learned before 10. If there is a boxing genius he's it.

Browns, Wiggers, and ole Blacky just having a meltdown psycho-psychotic frustration fest on the forums just ranting about how Loma wins without the guy being seriously hurt. So nice to see them squirm.

Exactly. Just like a bullfighter. The other guy threw some missiles the first couple rounds. I was worried, especially after all the build-up for Loma. I'll bet he'd have made an all time great bullfighter if he'd been Spanish.

Loma's father really knew what he was doing when he raised him. He had Vasili on the Ukraninian fold dance team for a number of years to help develop his sense of footwork and timing. Loma would be gifted regardless of how he'd been raised, but with such an astute father it's like a perfect pairing of talent and training.

If he had one punch power they'd probably have to ban him from boxing.

The tapping on Loma's opponent's head was to remind his opponent to not use his head as a weapon in tight. That cut Loma got was from a headbutt not a punch. So, that's not showboating like the dummies on the forums are writing, that's called being a good sport even when your opponent isn't.

So then the question is, if they aren't seriously hurt, why do they quit on their stool? The answer is because they are indeed hurt and they've been mentally broken because they see it's pointless to continue.

These haters who criticize Loma for not hurting his opponents are all probably big Mayweather fans. Loma has a better KO rate (70%) so far in his career than Mayweather (53%).

From East Side Boxing:

Unbeaten and avoided super-bantamweight ruler Guillermo Rigondeaux was not too impressed with Vasyl Lomachenko’s hugely dominant stoppage win over massive underdog Miguel Marriaga. Though Lomachenko supporters are heaping praise on the super-featherweight for his latest performance, fellow southpaw Rigondeaux says Lomachenko did as expected (check) and needs to fight better opposition (check).

And we all know who Rigondeax, 17-0(11) wants to see Lomachenko, 9-1(7) face next: himself. Taking to twitter after Lomachenko’s straightforward, show-boat of a win over Marriaga, “Rigo” made it clear he is not as impressed with the Ukrainian as the rest of us are.

“We all know he can fight, the problem is that he is fighting someone that is not fighting back and I will!” Rigondeaux wrote. “I will stop this guy. (to the fans) stop booing Marriaga. It is your fault for expecting the impossible. Boo Lomachenko for not demanding a better opponent. Please! Even my baby son can beat someone that is not fighting back. Can’t wait to hear what the #fakeboxingnews is going to say. Some fighters demand bigger pay and lesser opponents. I demand better pay and the best opponents.”

It now has to be hoped that a deal can be thrashed out and that these two will actually fight. Why? The two best-skilled boxers in the world need the acid test and maybe, if a weight for the fight can be arranged (we could stand another catch-weight affair if that is what it takes for this one to get made) they will both get it by fighting one another.

Unless he moves up to lightweight and tackles either Mikey Garcia or Jorge Linares, a Rigondeaux fight is the biggest, best and most interesting fight out there for Lomachenko. For Rigondeaux, a fight with Lomachenko is the only super-fight he stands any chance of getting.

Lomachenko is expected to be back in action in December, Rigondeaux would arguably make the best challenge for him right now. At age 36 (37 next month), the Cuban technician cannot afford to waste time, so hopefully he and his team will be reasonable at the negotiating table (if things even get that far).

Lomachenko-Rigondeaux, at, say 128 pounds, would be one fascinating proposition.

I don't know anything about Rigondeaux but it sounds like it would be a great fight and a great test for Loma. A true superfight. He could lose the extra 2 pounds for the weigh-in and then gain it back before the fight. So he would be the bigger man.

What can you say a masterful performance by Lomachenko. I had to take a nap because the match started so late. A true boxing artist who has it all see above posts. Speed, balance, movement, toughness, brains and everything in between. He made a very powerful and good fighter look like a third rate sparring partner.
Jolting lefts did in his opponent. I think the majority of experts all agree. Lomachenko is the MOST EXCITING BOXING TALENT TODAY.

You see, your mind works -theirs not so much. There are many types of TKOs as the head is only part of the body. When they quit they are strained, dizzy, confused, overwhelmed, winded, and yes, the body shots they get hurt too so they feel their legs are gone and can't move.

Rigo is also a great boxer. But Rigo had his chance to be a main attraction and lost it by not only winning safe decisions without going after his opponents like Loma does, but Rigo got beat up against that tall Japanese guy. Now Rigo can't get big paydays because fans think he's boring (no Mayweather hype behind defensive style). Now Rigo wants a very large sum to fight Loma and Loma's agents haven't wanted to spare their profits to him.

Would like to watch this fight though...

The Tribe commentators and brothers say Rigo and Ward are the best pound for pound. Lomo would destroy Rigo and Ward is going to take his ball breaking up to the cruisers and get slaugthtered (Ward probably has a speed bag that looks like a set of nuts). After that, there will be little argument as to Lomo being P for P #1.

Ward's not even in the discussion for P4P #1 as far as I'm concerned. Lomo leaves no doubt when he fights, Ward has to cheat. In a fair boxing match, there is no way he beats Kovalev and he knows it.

The two Kovalev fights were such a disgrace for boxing. Blatant old fashioned fight fixing, Vegas style. I honestly think part of it was the Tribe globalists meant it as a slap in the face to Russia in order to continue insanely ratcheting up tensions with Russia.

I would like to see him beat that Cuban midget Guillermo but then they would say he just beat up a much smaller man. The midget is saying he will knock out Lomachenko, Big talk from a midget that when life and death with the Japanese guy.

When guys demand huge purses for these fights it all but says this is a potential retirement fight for potential Loma opponent. Walters did the same thing for about a year and then took the fight when he started looking flat at 130 pounds and the career high purse could evaporate.

I hope Loma cleans up the top fighters at 130 before he goes up to 135 as I wouldn't want to see his career stalled by a potential loss to Mikey Garcia as Garcia looks to be the only realistic opponent who can beat Loma, even then it would be more on natural size than speed and skills as Loma should even be too fast and skilled for Garcia who is a legitimate top 10 or 12 pound for pound fighter.

I prefer it when boxers stay in their lanes. Sure some guys can comfortably jump up in weight but it is loaded with perils. There is no need for Lomachenko to get cute at this point. When you have crystalized brilliance why tamper with the formula? He is perfect at his current weight class.
