This week the UEFA U21 championships begin in that famous European country of Israel! There was a campaign to boycott the tournament due to Israel's treatment of the Palestinians with devout Muslim Freddy Kanoute starting his own petition.

There are eight teams:

Israel (hosts)
Spain (defending champions)
Netherlands
Germany
Italy
Norway
Russia
England

I looked up the England teams likely players at Wikipedia. Three of the four listed forwards are black.:icon_rolleyes:

The first match is on Wednesday between Israel and Norway followed by England v Italy in the evening. In the US it is being shown on ESPN3 and ESPNU and on Sky Sports in the UK.

Thanks for starting this thread, Matra! I will be paying attention as the games begin tomorrow!

I think Russia will be the only all-white team in the field; even Spain now has two blacks on the team, with one of them starting for sure.

Germany may only have 1 non-white in their starting lineup. This guy, Mllapa, is absolutely terrible, and may get subbed off early.

The Netherlands I believe will be their usual lineup like their senior team: 7-9 whites, 2-4 non-whites.

Norway is not very good, I remember watching them against England a few years ago, and I remember that they had 4-5 non-whites on the pitch at once.

Italy should have a couple of non-whites, like Angelo Ogbonna on the team.

SPOILER!

Just caught the end of the opening match between Israel and Norway. It looked like Norway was all white until they equalised in injury time with a goal by a player called Singh. :eek:hwell: Watching the post-match highlights I noticed another "Norwegian" had an Arab sounding surname, Elabdellaoui. I didn't notice any negroes on the Norwegian team - though there was at least one playing for Israel!

the "norwegian" morroccan is the cousin of the 2 abdellaoue brothers, who both play for norway's national team
these arabs must have something special in their genes that the norwegians don't have :icon_rolleyes:

Italy's entire starting XI is white. England? Not so much. There at least four blacks on for England plus Shelvey whose ethnic background is a mystery to me. Wilfried Zaha is not playing as he's recovering from some injury but he seems to be on the bench.

Abdellaoue gave away a penalty that should not have been given against Israel which led to a goal. In the first half of Italy v England the Italians should've had a penalty but it was not given. UEFA's shoddy refereeing continues.

I see France did not qualify. Does anyone have a picture of their most recent U-21 squad? I'm guessing its most subsaharans.

I had a friend in college whose last name is Singh. His parents were from Punjabi in India. There were quite a few of them at my University. Some of them can pass for white but the majority are definitely not white looking.

Good. Israel definitively needs more Cultural Enrichment. By the way, that “Singh” guy is named Harmeet Singh, he plays for Feyenoord.

I took a closer at the “Dutch” team (you already see where this is going) and this is what I found out:
Goalkeeper: 3, All White
Defender: 4 out of 8 are Black.
Midfielder: 4 out of 7 are non-Whites (3 Blacks)
Attacker: 4 out of 5 (!) are Black, Luuk De Jong is the only White attacker

Those are surely some nice young boys:

they lost their qualification play-off against norway
they started 7 blacks out of 11 in that playoff
as a consequence they are not in this tournament

I'm sure they will they step right into the shoes of great Dutch footballers like Bergkamp, Kluivert, Wilkes and Cruyff :icon_rolleyes:

I give it 3 years before Netherlands drops out of the top 20 FIFA rankings.

EDIT: I just turned on the England, Italy match and literally within one minute, a black England defender got torched by the Italian forward and gave up what should have been a penalty - but the ref gave a free kick right on the edge of the box. Italy scored on the resulting free kick to take a 1-0 lead...LOL

After some terrible officiating in the champions League and last year's Euro 2012 UEFA needs to completely overhaul its refereeing. I already mentioned the clear cut penalty Italy should've had in full view of the ref, linesman, and official behind the goal line, then in the second half England had a goal taken away, seemingly several minutes after it was scored. The replay did not show any clear foul. So two games played, two incorrect penalty calls, and one incorrectly (in my view) ruled out goal.

i read that PSG's young player verratti is doing great, is that true?
PSG stole him to juventus and they got pogba instead (the guy that took 2 yellow cards in 3 minutes against spain - verratti also has that discipline problem, but the difference is that he's talented)

Why is Sordell on England? He really doesn't look very good to me.Then they

have to have their black right back.

Thanks for the help, guys. I wasn't really sure on a couple of the teams. I assumed Italy would have at least one token; good to see they are all-white along with Russia.

The "Dutch" are a huge disappointment, I didn't think they would turn that black.

Nice to see Italy knock off multi-culti England.

a summary of the match:

There is no future in England's lack of dreaming. This was another display depressingly devoid of imagination and audacity. Predictable huff and puff but nothing to suggest England have the ability to match the tournament's best teams, of which Italy may be one. The far more polished Italians' deserved their victory even if England had a goal disallowed for dubious reason (Italy, mind you, were denied two penalties). Redmond delivered rare flair for England, Dawson was solid at the back and Chalobah looked dangerous when he came on but other than that, this England's skill and intelligence factors were as low as their ambition.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jun/05/england-italy-under-21-live-report

that sounds like a black team

now someone sent me the full racial compositions:

Russia: 23 Whites
Italy: 23 Whites
Spain: 21 Whites, 2 Brazilian Blacks

Germany: 18 native German, 2 Muslim Albanian/Yugoslavian, 2 Blacks, 1 Turk
Sweden: 17 native Swedish, 2 Albanians, 2 Blacks, 2 Asian
England: 13 Whites, 10 Blacks
Holland: 11 Whites, 11 Blacks, 1 Arab

israel: 4 Arabs, 3 Blacks

thanks to him :thanks:

Marvin Sordell got a 13 yr old Millwall fan permanently banned from attending matches in England because he shouted a comment about "fish eyes" (yes, this ugly negro does have bug-eyes that resemble some aquarium anomaly). Sordell complained of "racism" on twitter and the PC Police immediately descended onto the scene. After scouring countless hours of Big Brother footage, they determined that this blossoming adolescent had done the deed and sentenced him to re-education (this actually happened).

I know this because I "trolled" Sordell on twitter with a few curt words - he foolishly "retweeted" me in a feeble attempt at revenge (against some random, lone, anonymous voice) for my failure to adulate him. All he did was summon a maelstrom of guffaws from my internet allies and a trail of tears from his apologist camp. A search engine query for "Sordell racist twitter" will deliver the droll 'dailymail' account of this hilarious affair. As I recall, his coach eventually forbid him from using twitter and facebook because it was "distracting" him, ha ha ha ha ha.

If anyone else is wondering why Marvin Sordell is included on the _____ team (insert name), just remember that to ask is to answer: he will accuse you of racism and you will go to gaol, you racist.

Two black Brazilians for Spain. Because we all know they would not have won Euro 2008 without Marcos Senna.

Haha, that was you?? I hope you didn't use your real name?

Hey, at least you got a bit fame...albeit in the wrong way. If you were in England, you probably would have gone to jail since they don't have freedom of speech laws.

England could have had Wilshere, Jones and Mcmanamen play in this so that would have made the team much better and whiter. Rodwell and Sturridge could also have played on this team.

I think Ince and Zaha might play in the next game.

Bolatelli and El Shaarawy could have played for Italy.

I've noticed these U21/23 teams are rarely reflective of the senior teams a couple years down the road, and tend to be way more overrepresented with minorities. Just check out the squads for the 2007 tournament http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_UEFA_European_Under-21_Football_Championship_squads. Out of their 23 man squad, England had 5 players: Lleyton Baines, Ashley Young, Joe Hart, Gary Cahill, and James Milner (4 out of 5 of whom are white), who play at all on the senior team 6 years later. A quick glance at Italy and the Netherlands looks similar. Anyone know why this is?

some quotes from important people in french soccer, who work behind the scenes:

first laurent guyot, who is in charge of nantes' youth development (which is suposed to be one of the best in french history, now they are in 2nd division):

"i am sorry about this but the evolution is obvious: we now take athletes and try to turn them into soccer players"
"in the youth squads, in each age category, there are very few players who were born in the last trimester of the year
it means that if you grow up a few months later than the others you are eliminated and have fewer chances to turn pro
we see this happening more and more"
"we french think that skills don't matter, and that with the tallest players we will win"

and fabrice briand, who also works for fc nantes:
"and since blacks reach puberty earlier than whites, they currently make up for 80% of the youth categories in france" (80% of all the clubs' youth categories in france, not only the french national team)

copy and paste from the french soccer thread, it probably also applies to england
whites probably mature later and thanks to their skills they prove to be better than the blacks who are only there because they reached puberty earlier
