Thank goodness that will McNamara and Sullivan we’ll never have to see Hill again. He was truly atrocious.

Glad Hill is gone. Sullivan is an interesting transfer in. I wonder if he will be competing with McNamara for the starting job or if Ferentz just wanted an experienced competent #2 this year with a chance at starting in 2025.

With the end of the regular season the transfer portal is beginning to show activity. Alot of FCS players along with players of teams that have had coaches fired are in the portal.

Oklahoma QB Jackson Arnold too. All of these guys could use a change of scenery to break out. Hopefully they end up with the right program.

Glad Thienman hopped in the portal. Purdue was a disaster in his first 2 seasons. Let's hope they both make good decisions and are immediate starters!

This transfer portal thing is confusing as relates to the student part of "student/athlete". So when they hit the portal they will complete the current semester at the university they are enrolled in, and then complete the transfer to the new U for the following semester? Or is that all simply semantics and nobody is bothering with the "school" part, they're just athletic mercenaries??

It's pretty much your last sentence. They don't really try to hide it anymore either. Can't remember the last time academic standards were considered at all.

Cardale "Oaf" Jones and his "ain't come to play school" remark is a perfect example of the crude black honesty that white libtards are terrified of.

It would be fascinating to see what percentage of student/athletes actually do their own "studenting". It always used to be that the white players waaaaaay down on the edge of the bench were just there to raise the collective GPA of the team. Not sure if that matters when Barkevious has his calculus homework and tests completed by miscellaneous nerdy whites, asians or indians (ruby noggins).

Glad he decided to move on. Smart decision to leave. Now he needs to make a smart decision on his destination.

This kid is such an explosive running back. Fingers Crossed as to him landing on the right team. If he doesn't feel safe as to his playing
time he could always go to a smaller school like Carson Steele did with Ball State.

I was going to say the same thing.
Smart choices......D1
Honestly there is no real "smart" choice as long as this stupid caste system exists, and we can see proof of it right now in the Leading High School Rushing Leaders where the No.1 Rusher, in the country, John Hebert only got an offer from Cornell. Somehow an Ivy League was able to notice something FBS Teams in Texas couldn't see, wonder why...

The transfer portal officially opened up today and filled right up with magical upsiders yet to achieve their upside at their 1st, 2nd, 3rd sometimes 4th chances.

Most look at the transfer portal as the NIL pot-o-gold. Who's going to offer them the most coin for their unlimited upside?
