Overall a good article. I give credit to the black sports writer for writing about it, but I would not go so far as to say he has big "kahona's" for writing about it. Black people throughout life are encouraged to speak their minds without having any consequences.
I would say these type of articles are long overdue, and reflect more of a "discredit" to white sports journalists, who either choose to bury their heads in the sand when it comes to discrimination against white athletes, or even "worse", try and support the discrimination based on stereotypes.
I am wonder if we should start to support a caste system in sports journalism, for black sports writers to replace whites. Although, many black sports writers support the caste system like whites, there would be some journalists who would be willing to state the obvious like this sports writer did in his article.
